Decided to try a new spot and it did not disappoint. We explored the menu and decided to go big with the boat. Love it! Everything tasted fantastic and fresh! They had all sorts of fish, did not taste frozen or tendinous. Place had plenty of tables and space. Service was on point, kept refilling water. Made sure that we got what we needed. Will be back to try other food!

I've gone twice for lunch, and both times were simply wonderful. The sushi is fresh and super yummy. The servers are attentive and kind. I went during the week. It was calm and quaint.

This place is so worth the money. We got two appetizers, one soup, one salad, and two rolls for $50. Everything was incredible. The presentation, the quality of ingredients, and the overall experience was a 10/10. Definitely coming here again. The waitress/hostess was SO sweet and lovely.

This was an amazing experience. We made reservations and visited this restaurant on a spur of the moment decision and it was incredible. They are doing the most to make sure everyone stays socially distanced and safe, we had zero wait time with our reservations. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and so nice. The servers were extremely helpful and informative when asked for opinions or preferences of their menu items. We loved everything we were served here, from the appetizers to the mackeral & tuna to the boat full of sushi. It was a very nice, calm, and peaceful environment to enjoy a phenomenal meal. We will definitely make this a new regular place for date nights!

We usually come here for sushi but decided to come here with my son after football and a hair cut. We had the Dragon Beef bento box and an order of the gyozas. My son polished off all the gyozas plus a few that came with the bento box so that was a hit for the little guy. The dragon beef was really good. I’d still recommend sushi over the bento but if you have folks in your party that don’t partake in sushi, they will have some solid options. The service was great and attentive and the food came out very fast.

We really love Sushishima Japanese Restaurant. The kani salad and the fish bowl are our favorites—fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The interior isn’t fancy, but the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. What really stands out is the staff: everyone is well-mannered, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better. Overall, the food quality is moderate to high, and it’s a great place to enjoy good Japanese food without the pretentious vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is really good, food is always of high quality and atmosphere is pretty chill. Definitely recommend the razor cut yellowtail, the rice less cucumber wrapped sushi is okay, the cucumber overpowers everything else and all you taste is cucumber because of how much cucumber is there. They have an extensive menu. Service is relatively good.
