It's an all-time favorite burger joint. Great tasting food can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

One word to describe this burger joint is DELICIOUS!!! definitely 10/10 burgers are to perfection . Don’t forget to try the deep fried zucchini’s.

I was visiting from Los Angeles and happen to run across this Bill's burgers and to my surprised they had some of the best tasting menudo I have ever tried.

I am a regular customer at "Bill's Take Out". I would 1st off love to invite everyone to eat at this mom and pop place. The customer service is the Best and takes the cake or crown on the way you are made to feel so like family. You can eat morning on Saturday and Sunday Menudo! Which is absolutely delicious😝! If you happen to stop 4 lunch,your going to be satisfied with the fresh food they serve. Great service! Your satisfied completely!

So glad they are back in business 🥰 Their food is one of the best in Santa Maria, CA. It is such a good vibe there and I have grown up eating it. My mother even found out she was pregnant there with my youngest sister. She was born right before they closed in November of 2019. Cheers to their reopening 🍻🥂🎉

My sister and I ordered the double cheeseburgers, The fried zucchini and the jalapeño poppers. Double cheeseburger is the best that we have found on the central coast! We haven’t eaten every burger on the central coast, but this one is absolutely outstanding. The fried zucchini was also the best we’ve ever had. The pieces were just the perfect size and the batter was very light and they were cooked perfectly. The jalapeño poppers were also excellent, The cheddar cheese used was very flavorful. We will definitely be eating here again!

Driving through for work and I was looking for something quick and not a chain. Googled food and saw Bill's with a picture of a pastrami sandwich, so I had to stop. I got the hot pastrami also someone eating fried burritos so I got a few of those as well. The pastrami was PERFECT. From the roll to the meat that looked and tasted fresh as can be. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach so I haven't tried the burritos but they look and smell good. I recommend and will gladly stop here again if anything brings me back through Santa Maria.

Yay! I’m so happy and glad they returned! I’m starting to get older sadly and it’s just great to see something here from my childhood. I remember going there in the early 2000s as a kid and getting the strawberry milkshakes and the burgers! It’s always good to have something thrive on this side of Santa Maria. Community based establishments should always be respected and saved. So I’m just so very happy they weathered their storm and came back to the Santa Maria valley! Hope many successful years ahead!!!

Good food, not great but came out quick and hot.

We went the 2nd week it opened, there were about 25 people ahead of us, we waited 2 hrs. Won't go at noon anymore. We ordered 2 small bill burgers, mine was cooked and hot, my husband's was cold, the onion rings were really greasy but good. My strawberry shake was runny I didn't finish. Well give it another try either before noon or after 2

Cool little outdoor spot. Pretty good burger at a decent price. You can enjoy some food and watch all the weirdos in the hood.

I lucked out this last time. The usual line of people wasn't there. The food was as delicious as always, and the staff was super friendly.

The pastrami on roll was delicious nice and thin not too fatty and bread was spongy Corn dog was as expected as well I forgot to take a photo of the grilled cheese but that was good as well i do wish they grilled it a bit more to fully melt the cheese and get a bit more of a toast on the bread but other than that food was delicious and the pastrami was supper filling. I do like that there is seating behind the building was clean and spacious a little windy but thats just part of the ambiance jajaja

I was upset at the presentation of the burger, the patty was thin and looked like someone took a bite out of it and left the piece hanging on the burger. 20 minute wait but the food was actually worth it and better than the habit. I will be back. Best burger in town .

Burgers are tasty and they have nice specials. The shredded Tacos are insane and a must try (Like a dozen). Staff are very nice and it definitely seems the cook takes pride in making awesome burgers and tacos. Hats off to the Cook!

Fast food burgers, burritos, shakes, sundaes, etc.

Beto burger was decent, same with the fried burrito. The fries and taco were not good but the jalapeño poppers were delicious.

I had the pastrami sandwich. It was mediocre. It was not a traditional juicy pastrami sandwich. I'll go back and try some other foods. Hopefully they are better.

Waited 25 minutes for a regular meal of 2 Billy burgers + fries and a drink on a Saturday afternoon. 2 standard burgers, not customized. Most of these types of places are pumping out orders at least 3 times faster than that. That is the whole purpose of a fast food burger restaurant. I mean the place wasn't even that busy, 25 minutes. I've never seen anything like that before. Crazy Burgers were decent though, and fries not bad. But not going back due to the 25 minute wait for a standard fast food meal part though.

Dammit this place was a bust! That 4.5 stars got me. Burger was flavorless fries had no seasoning on them what so ever, and my dr.pepper was flat my onion rings was all batter. The cheese on my burger was the best part. I would stay away if your looking for a good burger join.

If I could give zero stars for the food, I would. The ranch was basically just sour cream, the burger tasted like Carls Jr but with Orcutt Burger prices, and the fries were soggy and flavorless.

I've lived in santa maria for 5 yrs now.....finally gave them a try. I got the billy burger #9 combo for 6.50 Came with too much fries which were ok.. .but the burger was tiny and thin and way over cooked. The bun was smashed. Don't know what the raves about the frozen patty burgers from smart and final are but i give them one star...only because the service was friendly. Won't go back. . .

My husband and had lunch there and ordered 2 Billy burgers with grilled onions and split one small order of fries which came to $11.68. Our order took about 20 minutes. There were 3 customers in line besides us. When they handed us the tiny white paper bag, I thought, gee I hope the flavor and quality make up for the size. I pulled out one of the $3.25 burgers and the first thing I noticed was how small it was. About the size of a Happy meal burger. The bun was smashed down like someone stepped on it. I heard they do that on purpose...why??? The meat, about 3" in diameter, the thickness of a CD was hidden deep inside. A meager sprinkle of chopped raw onions sat on top of it. My husband's was the same. What happened to our grilled onions??? The only redeeming feature of this flattened sandwich was the secret sauce which tasted of mayo, relish and a tint of ketchup: something I could whip up at home. After prepping a napkin with squeeze-out ketchup packets, I pulled out the happy meal-sized bag of fries. They were luke cold and floppy but my husband and I shared them. Our dog, who normally gets a generous share of extras at King Filaful, got only one. Not because we were enjoying them so much but because we were still hungry. I've felt more satisfied eating samples at Costco and they're free! Needless to say, we won't be back. Had such high hopes for this nostalgic renovated restaurant. 1950s on the outside, 2024 food and prices on the inside.

After paying $75 for dinner, my 2 plain cheeseburgers had everything on them. I took them back and I thought they had been replaced. Opened them up on the way home...all that they did was scrape the crap off the burgers. Not the old Bills, that's for sure! Wont be returning any time soon!!!
