Opiniones de Bambi Sarzana
I really like this restaurant. The food is really, really good! Everything is delicious, both the meat and the fish, and there are so many dishes, an incredible variety. I recommend the cod fritters and the ravioli. The desserts are also very good, and the whole atmosphere and interior are beautiful.
We happened upon it by chance on our way back from the Brugnato shopping center, and given the beautiful day we decided to return via the regional road passing through all the villages. It was lunchtime and we spotted this restaurant. I must say, it's quaint and the waiting staff are really kind. They sit us down and after we ordered, our plate of homemade maltagliati with delicious mushrooms arrived immediately. Home cooking, then a fried dish in two generous portions, a good local red wine that was practically finished, the tiramisu they made was truly sublime. Finally, I paid and in the meantime I chatted with the owner, a very sweet and polite lady. We exchanged a few words and we have Livorno in common. She is a friend of Ruffini's mother. We continued talking as if we had known each other for many years, given that it was my first time. I highly recommend it if you're passing through. They serve fast and reasonably priced (I've been to many places and paid much more). We'll definitely stop there in January and I'll try the polenta with pheasant... Best regards Marco & Laura
We arrived as a couple, passing through and unpretentious, and discovered on the spot that this gem had been brought to the attention of Chef Rubio. Indeed, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for anything better! The pasta with the green "sugo" (I forget the exact term), mussels, and clams was magnificent; the fried fish was light and flavorful; the poppy seed cake with blueberries was an unexpected and much-loved dulcis in fundo! It's already a fond memory 🤩
Absolutely fabulous in every detail. We spent a relaxing lunchtime here. The staff are friendly and helpful, accommodating our poor italian with grace and good humour We ate in the garden and you would not have known you were on a main road. Food had been prepared with care and skill. Everything was truly delicious. Be guided by the waiting staff towards the local traditional dishes and you will not be disappointed. Thoroughly recommend! And whatever you do, make sure you try the puddongs! We will be back when we are next in Sarzana.
Authentic home cooking, delicious, and plentiful, at a reasonable price. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The place is very charming, with both indoor dining and a lovely, spacious veranda for outdoor dining in the warmer months. The menu features traditional local dishes and some very interesting reinterpretations. A truly captivating culinary journey that will leave you full and wanting to return. Parking is plentiful, and children are more than welcome; they even have a play area for the little ones. If you're in the area, a meal is a must!
What a discovery! Recommended by the popular TV show "Truck Drivers in Trattoria," I decided to try it. They're always open at noon, never in the evening. If you don't reserve, they'll find you a spot, but you'll have to wait in line for about ten minutes (depending on the time of day). Let's start by saying they make everything themselves, including the bread and focaccia (their excellent quality is excellent). Excellent for a business lunch or a stop near the highway. Simple, flavorful cuisine, with a wide selection of meat and fish. The ravioli tordei are noteworthy, as are the first courses in general, and the desserts! Hearty dishes, reasonably priced. At the time of this review, the phone number listed here on Maps is broken; they can't reach you, so I wasn't able to book and instead showed up at the restaurant. Fortune favors the brave. Try the house nocino.
Food was very good, price was very reasonable,to bad they only have house wine.
Super 😋

We stopped for a quick coffee & bite to eat not knowing anything about Bambi. The food was super & authentic. Ravioli was particularly loved. Great value home style place. Really great staff with humour. You'll see many 1 star reviews here that seem to come from people who saw it featured on an Italian celebrity chef's show. I read these when we were at Bambi & they all seemed based on how it wasn't like the TV show. Very unfair. It's a super roadside restaurant.
Marvelous. This is what you need. You can have sea food or earth food. You better try it, trust me.
Traditional Italian Cuisine. Great ambiance
A good trattoria just outside Sarzana I visited this restaurant for lunch with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is located along the Aurelia bypass, just outside the center of Sarzana. Outside, there's a large parking lot where customers can park their vehicles. The interior is spacious, with a large covered area outside. The decor is simple and antique-style. We had mixed antipasti, ravioli, pochetta with potatoes, and dessert. The food was simple but good, and the portions were generous. Excellent for a hearty meal.
Ok
Nice food and good prices
Mediocre dishes, casual atmosphere, and friendly staff.
The place is decent (especially the wooden section, which is nice). The food may have been decent once (in fact, I'd even say decent), but now it's barely adequate; you have no idea how much it cost (I went for lunch: two of us ate two starters and one side dish, 1/4 cup of wine, water, and two coffees). The bill was €30 (€15 + €15) with the only item being "Bambi menu." Was it a business lunch? À la carte? We can't say because we didn't see the menu! Furthermore (and in addition to the noticeable deterioration we've seen), they were much slower than usual. In short, to conclude, I already had serious doubts, but now I think it's unlikely I'll return. I definitely don't feel like recommending it. I'm sorry, especially because it's a historic trattoria known by everyone and where the food has always been good.
I'm giving it a 1 because 0 isn't possible. As soon as we sat down, they didn't bring us a menu card. When asked "Is there a menu?" the extremely professional response was "You can take whatever you want," before quickly and incomprehensibly announcing the daily specials (the prices of which, of course, were unknown). I have no complaints about the service, as bread and water were promptly refilled once they ran out. The fun part came to an end when I took my order to the cashier and, for five ravioli each (with ragù or butter and sage) plus service charge, I paid €17 under the "Bambi menu." After talking to my friends, I went back to ask for clarification, and the cashier—the same one who had just given me the bill—looked confused, mumbled some nonsensical excuse, and then shoved us away, slipping us €10 under the table. Disgusted by the scam, we left.
