Great Italian food, excellent live jazz in a cosy environment. Top tip: go for brunch?
Great date spot - the food is fantastic. I went for both brunch and dinner - cozy atmosphere.
Vegan & vegetarian types: Try the penne aribiata. add kalamata olives & capers. Spicy pepper flakes are a must 🌶‼️
Beautiful and quiet setting with extremely attentive staff. The bartender on duty was wonderful conversation and company.
Great place! An old world setting with great food and music. I just wanted to hangout all night!
Great music and atmosphere. Food is awesome and comes in perfect portions.
This place is really great and they’d serve delicious meals. Staffs were super friendly and the vibe is good.
Great italian food, definitely 5 Stars! Wish I had taken pictures, but the food was fantastic (dinner, dessert and coffee)
Delicious food, I can't wait to try everything on the menu, great bar too!
I have to say I haven't had Italian food this good in a long time. Pasta carbonara. Shrimp scampi and curry OMG!!!!
Great Italian food. A little crowded, but the food is excellent. Great jazz ensemble.
Hand made fresh pasta. (Mic drop) Good atmosphere. Great for an off the beaten path date night.
It's a smaller place up front with a long bar and larger room in the back. I go there for the wonderful food, different singers and musical entertainment. Favorite start is a baked dish with fennel, cream, butter and Parmesan cheese and fresh toasted focaccia bread. Several great dishes from cornish game hen, beef, lamb, chicken and fish. Plus many pasta dishes, salads and soups. Yummy desserts such as tiramasu, gelato, cheesecake and creme brulee. Friendly attentive staff.
Great choice of brunch or lunch dishes. All tasty and well prepared, and serve with a smile. Easy and free parking down the street. Tables outside and inside, not crowded at all -- more people ought to go!
Osteria Divino is a jewel in the San Francisco Bay Area. Great food, service, atmosphere and live music, mostly jazz.
Not sure about service but it doesn’t matter because the food is divine! Homemade gnocchi is so amazing, it competes with my biz nonna’s in Italy. The bread is awesome, all the food is very authentic.
Great affordable breakfast place in Sausalito. The coffee, orange juice and food tasted good. The service was great. We want to come back to try their lunch and dinner as well.
We left right before the live musician got set up because we were running late for Amaluna cirque de soliel. Besides missing a big attraction for the place the food was amazing and fresh and our waiter kept us supplied with bread and water until our food was made which didn't take very long!
I walked in for a brunch without much expectation. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here! The portion was very generous and I loved all the dishes I ordered
Osteria DiVino was dear to me. Eternal thanks to Elizabeth for creating the space for community to thrive. From the jazz, the food, running into local friends, and laughing endlessly watching the jackals of sausalito torture the poor staff. Like all good things, we must treasure the times we have together.
Beautiful experience like a good old osteria. Authentic Italian food, warm welcome and friendly service. Felt very relax and invited. Thank you Elizabeth for creating such a cozy atmosphere.
Celebrated my 21st birthday here last month and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful meal and experience! Food, service, and music was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more!
Good service. They gave us our order really fast because we had to catch the ferry! Bread sticks were really good too.
Great service, fantastic italian food. Couldn't get enough. On sunday they had outdoor seating at the street. Not sure it's an everyday thing. Great place to get a meal while enjoying a day in Sausalito.
perhaps the best gnocchi I ever had. (shrimp, veggies, and cream sauce). hobbies spaghetti with 5 hour roasted beef was equally as awrsome
Great food. Vegan friendly! Loved the live jazz during dinner. Will definitely go back...
Really loved it here. Very nice and cosy. The food is phenomenon. Try the beef Lazagna and the hen dish. Chocolate tart for dessert was amazing.
Been coming here for over 9 years. Always great, always fresh- Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Love that they have live music every night!
Didn't have a chance to eat. Love the seating arrangement. Pleasant and friendly staff. Cozy, quaint and clean. Looking forward to returning.
Absolutely love this place! Beautiful, romantic vibe, amazing food, jazz music and fun bartender and patrons. Highly recommend!
For years I have come from New Jersey for the enjoyment of this very special place. The experience could truly change your life! For amazing food and live entertainment, it;s the place to be. MM
great little neighborhood cafe that serves great tasting food for a fair price. they even have a half chicken for only around $10.00 which includes potatoes and a vegetable!
Incredible experience all around. Live jazz featuring upright bass and piano tied together beautifully the evening of delicious espresso, bruschetta, insane ravioli, tiramisu, and last but not least: Negronis. Wonderful menu, service, and atmosphere. 11/10.
We went on a Saturday night where everything around the area was closing or already closed, this place was pumping! They had a live jazz bar! The vibe was incredible. They had outdoor heaters and inside was beautiful. We tried the mezcal cocktail and it was super delicious. We also ordered the minestrone soup, one of the best I've ever had. Along with the squid ink seafood pasta and arrabbiata pasta and we inhaled the food. You can taste the freshness and the quality of the food. We would definitely come back but with a reservation. Highly recommend.
Classic Italian with local twist. Fine Italian wines and great cocktails. Try eggplant, Chicken saltimbocca, linguine vingole, lasagna and pork tenderloin. Save room for desserts.
We had a delicious brunch here! The lemon ricotta pancakes were divine and the shrimp omelette was so delicious. Espresso drinks were made perfectly. The live pianist was a charming touch!
A local favorite. Excellent food and service, live jazz and extra garlic! Plenty of options for those on a plant-based diet. Coincidentally the server was on vegan diet too and knew exactly which dishes were suitable by simply omitting the cheese. I love the Norma with eggplant. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is truly a gem! Ambience is amazing and complimented by curated live music. The food is also amazing and we love the seasonal specials. We love this for any occasion.
Omg. I am blown away. The food here is just phenomenal. The bruschetta was delicious. the carbonara and spicy bucatini was some of the best I’ve had in the bay. I will absolutely be coming back here. Live music was a delight!
A very unique Sausalito place to go. Locally owned by someone who connects and builds her community, loves what she does, and puts her heart into creating a great experience. Live music with a wait staff that treats you so well. And then the food... really awesome! High-end sensibility but down-to-earth people. It’s all love. Sat outside last night drinking rosé with my date and it was just awesome. My second time there.
What a magical place. We arrive late but still enjoyed the piano and bass playing. The kitchen was closing but Elizabeth the owner was kind enough to make us a delicious Caprese salad and bowl of minestrone soup. We will be back for breakfast!
wait staff were impeccable and accommodating. location is perfect if you want to enjoy with family and friends. in walking distance to all of Sausalito and it's many cute little shops or a jaunt on the Boardwalk and whether it's your lunch or dinner enjoy the beautiful views and enjoy the seafood Italian Fusion yumminess
Intimate Italian restaurant with surprisingly good vegan options. The bartender was skilled, friendly, and attentive. We were treated to a jazz trio, which was a delight.
Came for breakfast Sat morning. Excellent latte, wonderful organic fruit salad(very fresh). And poached eggs with red sauce and ricotta was amazing. Prompt, courteous service. Oh, and great price too.
Great everything, from the cocktails/wines to the salads/pastas/desserts to the art/music/vibe. Appreciated the fast and welcoming service, too!
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the pork tenderloin with mash potatoes and seasonal veggies. The sauce and spices were mouth watering. The service was great. Highly recommend.
Some really great pasta dishes, comfortable atmosphere, one of my favorite Cesar salads, and they make a great old fashioned. They often have live music (usually jazz) if you're into that. Try the bucatini all'amatriciana!
Great music, 🎵 and very friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic from the live music and ambiance all the way down to the food and even the delishious bread served with your food. The service was also fantastic in a very relaxing and intimate setting, highly recommend.
10/10 recommend this place. As a local to Sausalito, I’d say this is the best food in town- super fresh & you can taste the difference of the local ingredients. Ambience is great & the live bands are always so talented!
Best gnocchi of my life. Stellar jazz band inside. Great service. This was my favorite meal in Sausalito!
I can't wait to get back here. The food is divine. Service was amazing. The owner is very entertaining. If you want to try out their stuff, they are often at local farmer's markets.
Delighted we stopped by. Pasta dishes were simple and elegantly prepared. Atmosphere was amazing, with a live jazz band. Surprisingly affordable dinner out! Highly recommend.
First time in California and Osteria Divino did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is quite small, but has ample outdoor seating. The service was a little on the slower side, but they were full so it is to be expected. But oh was it worth the wait, the food was fantastic and so was the wine. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and definitely would come back. Definitely recommend it as a romantic spot for dinner. Plenty of on street parking located near the restaurant.
They had the most incredible live jazz – the band was seriously talented and brought such a soulful, lively vibe to the night. I sat at the bar and met some great people, and the atmosphere made it easy to strike up a conversation. Big shoutout to Stephan, the bartender – he was awesome. Super friendly and made me feel right at home. Even though they didn’t have non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, he offered to whip one up from scratch and absolutely nailed it. I had the salmon and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you’re ever in Sausalito and love live jazz, good food, and great company, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!
I have the most delicious and fresh Salmon Pasta!!!! salmon (smoked salmon, arugula & cream) Oh it was most delicious and accurate amount of season food The serve was kind of slow and very strange we can’t SPLIT the check. ?!?!?? The waitress was awesome and did heck of job taking care of us. So many foods smell wonderful and drink was good. I do feel like this is nice romantic place to eat at. Interior Design look beautiful, great condition, less light, and very painting. It does make me feel like I'm in Europe.
Had breakfast here and had a great experience! The waitress was very nice and warm with us. She made suggestions from the menu from which I chose one and my wife chose something of her own taste. Both meals we ordered (she ordered an omelette and I ordered poached eggs in a tomato sauce) were fantastic with the only complaint being that my meal was a bit small. A third egg or a meat would have made it perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend!
2022 March review: came back again and the food was all on point. The lamb, pork medallion, lasagna are must-gets. Great jazz duo playing live music too. Loved the dinner and will be back again soon. 2018 review: The burrata asian pear appetizer was a v great mix of flavors and textures. The mushroom pasta was good too.
Incredible restaurant at Salsalito. Tge food and service are very tasty, and the menu is wide with many options from traditional italian food to local sea food. The space is also nice. Comfortable with beautiful furniture gives a good vibe to anyone seating any table for dinner. The service is algo great. Experience is incredible. I went with ny girldfriend in a Saturdsy night. strongly recommend for romantic dinner.
Best gnocchi ever. I always end up here when in Sausalito.. Veggie lasagna was delicious and the seafood soup too 😋
Food was fantastic and the music was completing the vibe. The three of us each got a different entrée and ended up sharing. Everything tasted amazing. Spicy Lamb (marinara?), Carbonara and Mushroom Ravioli in a cream sauce, talk about rich and satisfying.
Need I say more? A true jazz place is one that ages with you like family, and becomes a part of your life.
Great food! Great little place at Sausalito. gnocchi and lasagna are a must . Nice brunch on weekends.
Such a lovely place. Best French toast and tea. A must try!! Staff is great! Get here early morning to have the cozy place to yourself.
Each dish was great. The burger the sandwich... just excellent

I first sauntered into this filigreed food dispensary on the waning tendrils of a brisky dusk's eve. Our maitre d, Zenbôgen (el Hermano primero), seated us promptly in the inky black pit of deepest despair, at our explicit request. Once deposited amongst the gemutlich mélange of plump hassocks, it took many fractions of a minute to receive our twenty seven menus by way of pneumatic tube. The band was playing some early Sugar Ray (under-rated!) on a haunted harmonium, likely pawned off Tom Waits. Its melody; a splinter of woe, lodged into my mind's ear: To this day, it provides the leitmotiv of my dankest duskdreams. We ordered off-menu, of course. Our server Stéfañyo, shunted through the bar space like some kind of mechanical sack of reanimated mismatched limbs, teetering on zirconium rails. We demanded a mango lassi and dragon roll. We were informed that as this is an Italian restaurant the best they could do was a musty satchel of vintage cordials. We acquiesced and were pleasantly confounded by their spurious provenance. Stéfañyo's black-lodge doppleganger, Stegbā, hovered on the edges of the bar and our consciousness, stalking our enjoyment of the growing night with the intensity matching the numerous racoons, possums, and other nocturnals screaming from the nearby storm drain on the corner of Johnson and Caledonia streets, in the shadows what must have once been a petrol station, but has since devolved into some manner of quaint optometry cult. Working our way through the meal involved much (mucho) masticating. The exposed bones of our lower mandibles preparing somewhat our nutritive bounty for the journey ahead. Canines pierced and the broad flat molars of our denisovan ancestors slid the blessings into the ganges of our gullet. Through the drips and dismal slips did slop a spiteful scene. The proteins ripped and alarms were tripped, but the food fell without a scream. That night, and for two thirds a fortnight following, my dreams were burdened by the spectre of that feast. The band's saccharine melody proved to be Rosetta Stone to appease the djinn of my torment. Great cappuccinos!

This is the place you want to be to really enjoy a night out. Great Italian dishes ( and I am 100 % Italian ) , incredible service ( the best around Marin ) and a plus of live Jazz music with fantastic musicians. Every person starting from the chef , the honer and every staff member are always super nice. BRAVO!
The food was outstanding. The drinks were perfect. There was a live piano player and bassist. The atmosphere was superb and laid back. These were all surpassed only by Stephan. His service was simply stated - excellent. As visitors, we really enjoy finding the best local places and this truly surpassed all recommendations. To anyone lucky enough to visit, please try to enjoy this as it really is enjoyable and excellent. It was a great evening out and made our trip so much more memorable.
Two of us split a salad and the burrata (really a second salad), pappardelle with a sweet pepper sauce, and a tiramisu. Delicious! The homemade pasta was nice and tender. Definitely want to come back. I dont know why this restaurant wasn’t on my radar earlier. Parking might be a little tricky—allow time to circle around for an open spot.
Hadn't been here in years but stopped by on a Sunday night.. The fresh morell pasta blew my socks off. Probably the best pasta dish I've had in Marin this year.
Best restaurant in Marin, nothing is close. Delicious food made with exceptional ingredients & love, diverse menu including both perennial staples and seasonal specials, ambience that could be prohibition-era Manhattan just as easily as post-modern Sausalito, gorgeous patio for nice nights, live jazz, thoughtful wine selection, great cocktails, it’s on a fun side street that keeps out the tourists…what else do you need? Davino nails community, something so many restaurants miss. It’s why I come back over and over… That anyone could give this place less than 5 stars is mind boggling to me. They must be looking for something quite different than everything I listed above…

Good pasta dishes, generous pours, reasonable prices, great music. Enjoyable neighborhood spot.
Great food . They have piano playing in front of the restaurant. The owner was very friendly and advised on our food choices.
beautifully made and filling dishes, nice atmosphere with and without music, spotty but friendly service, reasonable price point, and clearly a neighborhood favorite.
Very Good Food. Small bar with rough cement in back where tables are. Don't let that fool you. Very small. Pleasantly surprised.
Very nice environment. The ravioli della casa was excellent, made in house. The gnocchi is also made in house, but felt a little overcooked. As far as appetizers, the bruschetta was also very good!
Super authentic cuisine and the flavors are just magnificent. Great wine too. This is real Italian food🙌🏼
uncomfortable seating (tight and uncomfortable furniture) and no view but... food is pretty tasty. service friendly. The bread they bring you to snack on is SO good, which is why we had so many leftovers :D I had ordered some kind of mushroom pasta - can't remember the name. Overwhelming flavor of mushroom but not much else in there. Needed salt and quite a bit of it. I may be a "salty old man" sometimes but I don't eat with an obscene amount of salt so.. yeah. other than that, pretty chill atmosphere. fun to see people walking by with their pets. Music was nice but wasn't my favorite jazz style. Please update your seating furniture -- at least the ones you put outside. the chair to table height ratio is also not the most comfortable.
This was a super cute and cozy place. We came here for dessert and wine after our dinner and it was a great experience. There was a live jazz band that was playing that evening, so it just made the experience even better.
Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent as well.
We were able to get seated and drinks and food all fast and fresh. Unfortunately my husband ordered the clams vongole and ate a bad clam. Aside from that, the whole vibe and food and service were excellent.

Too loud in back room. They need to and some acoustic tiles on the wall! Jazz music nice. Food good.
Was not crazy about the food service was OK I think this place is kind of a tourist trap
Had the Cabonara. It was Good. The Restaurant needs a little sprucing up. I was there early but It was relatively quiet for Sat evening.
Food was alright. Waitress forgot our order of burrata and never checked in to give us our check. Did not have a good experience here honestly as the waitress served everyone else the same item and we were the only table she forgot to bring this item to. The waitress had a dismissive attitude when told we wished we would’ve gotten the items we ordered and we had to walk up to the counter to ask for our check since they never came back to our table. The waitress’s dismissive attitude made us really feel uncomfortable here.
My friend stated that her vegetarian lasagna was pretty bland, we mentioned that to waiter who said he will ask the chief. Nothing was done, or even a apology. My lasagna beef was okay and had spices, it was mediocre, honestly not worth $19.
Cozy restaurant with live music. Food was good, not fantastic. Service lacking. Our waiter tried his best but had too many other chores for us to feel noticed. The rest of the staff (including owner) stood behind the bar and seemed more interested in listening to music, chatting to one another and some local guests, than paying attention to us.
Food was just OK but not exceptional. Nice outdoor seating and live jazz but a bit hard to hear clearly from outside. Shared a shrimp appetizer and caprese salad and for main courses we each had saltimbocca and risotto with wild mushrooms. All were fine just not a “wow”. Only two maybe three visible waiters working their tails off so service was slow but we were patient. Americano cocktail was nice.
Food no good, service good, ambiance ok. “Carpaccio” means raw meat slices!!!! Instead they served “Lonzino salami” with greens. Salami is NOT raw meat!!!! Don’t call it carpaccio if it is not! I have nothing against five pieces of salami with a spoon of greens, but it does not cost $16, seriously. And, I was not in the mood for it, anyway. Don’t call a dish carpaccio when it is not! Disappointing. Vegetable lasagna was full of fat... I don’t know what it was, baked sour cream?.. Anyway, half of it was pure white fat. No good. The service people were very nice and accommodating, they really deserve a better (honest!) manager and a better cook! The place was clean.
This restaurant does not serve italian dishes, it serves something different. We ordered spaghetti con le vongole but they were almost inedible due to the enormous amount of burnt garlic. Very nice atmosphere but don't go there if you're italian.
Food was alright but service was not good. Our drinks were watered down by the time we got our food. Other parties arrived later than we did and got their meals before us. My pasta dish came out with six noodle strands all clumped together. Other noodles were stuck maybe two or three together. Made the dish lack flavor and I had a nice pasta hairball. Waited longer for overcooked pasta. Servers skipped over us to tend to other tables. Not worth it
Last night we were celebrating our doughter birthday. We decided for this restaurante. Everything was 5 stars, except for the waiters. They were ver unpolite, and we left 10 dolars tips, when we were leaving the place of them claim to me for a 28 dolars tip. Wich I consider out of my budget for the dinner we had. So the amazing experience we had, ot was disturbed by the waiter. I realy felt unconfortable with this situation.

Food was good, but the waiter being rude ruined the whole experience. Music too loud.
The worst customer service ever, I’m a local in Sausalito, came to the restaurant to have a nice dinner, drinks and appetizer and the waiter asked me if i was going to have dinner otherwise he offered me a table almost on the next business without a light or heater. That was pretty rude minded you it was only 8pm it seems they only care if you are going to spent lots of money on dinner otherwise they don’t care about customers. We had a drink an left to an other restaurant. Don’t waste to time on a place they only care about money and the service was bad
Terrible service and portion. My arugula salad had 3 almond, 2 grapes and a few pieces of lettuce for $18. I was very disappointed and won’t be back
Can not believe we had reservations for 6:30 pm when we got there we could not believe the place first thing very small place and dark place next to a auto repair shop and police station. They advertise live music were in hell would a band play. Now we were sited out side at a table where the wind was blowing. So we decide to try there appetizers start and beer which we ask for Anchor Steam the come back an says they are out of that beer. So order the appetizers that was a disaster a bowl of mussel and prosciutto the mussel had no taste to them I make better mussel at home, the prosciutto was like they took the bread toasted it and but some chop tomatoes through on the toasted bread. If they call this Italian Food it is a disgrace to Italians. And the price for 2 IPA beer and the appetizers was way out of line. We will never go back
HORRIBLE, I have never tested such bad eggs Benedict ever in my life. I mean how can they go bad with eggs Benedict ? I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. My husband ordered beet salad which was horrible and uncooked. He had to eat it forcefully since we were hungry. Not worth the price and would not recommend anyone for this restaurant
