Very cool vibe with interactive and friendly bartenders. We did not try the food but the wine list looked great and the craft cocktails we had were very good!
Our bartender (I totally forgot to get his name) was very knowledgeable and you could tell he had a passion for his craft. Drinks were a stand out and I’ll have to go back to try their food.
Really fun and inventive cocktails, tasty house-made food, and exceptional service from Crispy - cool concept and highly recommended.
We came here for a girls day and the service was amazing and cocktails 10/10.
Food was innovative and different. The cocktails aswell. One of the best dinners I’ve had in long time. Fresh pasta, cultural infused, innovative food that tastes fresh and prepared with intention.
Exceptional menu and experience! I've been here a hand full of times and even brought my best friend the last time. We love the taco board and the ceviche. The new desserts also never disappoint. Looking forward to trying their new lunch offerings this weekend! For the bar, it's so nice to see a program that has something for everyone, including curated Mocktails. The environment is cozy and elevated..perfect for a small private event. Highly recommend this spot!
We love this place. Think unique Pub-chic. And while the food menu is an epicurean delight with a well thought out and adventurous plight that we also recommend greatly, there's a bartender here churning out pure mixololgist decadence. There are people that make drinks, and then there's humans like this that love their craft so much you can taste the love in every sip. This isn't a place to just grab a bite and a drink and go, this is where you go for the emersive experience with fellow gourmonds and a lose a day to enjoying the best things in life: great food, drinks and friends.
Rolled into Liquor Pig in Scottsdale this past week with a couple friends to unpack family drama and get the latest Beau updates, because honestly, what pairs better with gossip than cocktails? The vibe here is on point: moody ambiance, great music, and drinks that sneak up on you in the best way. Special shoutout to Crispy for shaking up some magic behind the bar. He served me the Diamond Eyes, aka the best elevated martini I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few… purely for research purposes, of course. Also, do yourself a favor and order the bread from their globally inspired small plates. It’s carb therapy at its finest, perfect for soaking up the booze and my questionable life choices. Final verdict: 10/10, will be back again… because therapy is way more expensive.
Such an amazing find, honestly wouldn’t have checked it out or even stumbled on it without my sugar dropping so low my friend freaked out and asked them for lemonade. The bar tender, who was super sweet by the way (sorry I can’t remember your name my brain wasn’t fully functioning!) gave the lemonade free of charge (once again so dang kind we offered to pay but he wouldn’t accept it) and then he showed us the menus. when I tell you this place had like the coolest looking drinks I was so sad we had paid tickets to an exhibit, so we didn’t have a chance to sample the actual bar. We did buy some bread before we left (which we devoured before I could take a picture as it was so freaking tasty). Have plans to visit again before I leave back to Canada since the experience with customer service was so welcoming and the bread will be haunting my dreams all the way back across the boarder.
The drink menu was filled with very unique cocktails. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We did not eat there but the food looked very good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun option.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Liquor Pig recently, and it totally exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right — stylish and intimate, with a great mix of cozy and energetic. It felt like the kind of place you could bring a date, meet friends for drinks, or just treat yourself to a really good meal. The food? Creative, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. I loved that the menu is built around shareable dishes — it made the experience feel more social and gave us the chance to try a bit of everything. Every bite felt intentional, and I especially appreciated the seasonal touches and bold flavors. You can tell the chef is doing something special here. Highly recommend the bread, grilled zucchini, shakshouka, and ALL of the desserts! Drinks were on another level. The cocktail program is thoughtful and fun — I had one called “Meet Me There”. Love the flavors of grapefruit & rosemary-incredibly refreshing. The staff knew their stuff too — our server made great recommendations and had the perfect balance of attentiveness and chill. Overall, Liquor Pig feels like a place that’s truly dialed in — from the food and drinks to the ambiance and service. The owners and general manager were attentive and very personable! Scottsdale has plenty of good spots, but this one is unique and stands out with its intentive menu, top-tier cocktails, and a vibe that feels both elevated and effortlessly cool. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
Very innovative food and cocktails. Great selection of wine. Intimate dinning with a good variety of food selections. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices with great quality.food by the chef.
Cool cocktail bar vibe, amazing service, out of this world food! Jacob is a fantastic server who understands hospitality on another level. Everything we tried was outstanding. Great spot for a celebration, but also for a killer drink and bite.
Well, this place is fun. As a cocktail nerd, this checks all the boxes: unique drinks, excellent service, great atmosphere. If I was hungry I’d try the food. Great place.
New local spot that yall MUST check out! The food was exceptional (must try Olive Oil dessert), the staff was incredibly friendly & attentive. The atmosphere & MUSIC was EVERYTHING! Will be recommending to everyone! GET OVER HERE!
The good hype is 100% right! What a wonderful place: great food (!!), innovative menu perfectly cooked and plated, and the space has a wonderful vibe. 5 stars all the way around.
Oh wow this place is incredible. Friendly welcome, lovely knowledgeable staff, insanely eclectic menu and every.single thing we tried was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere too, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.
Wow, wow, wow this place has killer food. Every thing we tried was insanely delicious. The bread-it's such a treat and the blue cheese butter is next level and so subtle. The hamachi was light and had so many complex flavors. The veal papardelle was also so light and flavorful, we ordered a second for the table! Even accompaniments like the pickled carrots were a surprise for the palette and so tasty. The chimichanga was yummy as well. Great bar seating too. Our server was so great too, thank you all for a unique and wonderful experience. We will be back soon!
A unique speak-easy vibe. The restaurant is beautiful and features deconstructed, elevated food and unique cocktails. They have highly skilled craft bartenders. The ingredients are high quality. A special experience!
This is such a cool place! The cocktails were so fun and creative and the food was unbelievable! Definitely a place foodies won’t want to miss.
Was thrilled to learn of this new cocktail bar seemingly hidden off a busy area of Scottsdale road. We were greeted with friendly staff, sleek decor and amazing drinks (didn't eat this go round but we did get a sneak bite of one of the desserts and WOW). Drinks are creative and well crafted and the bar staff super knowledgeable for on and off menu options. I'm excited to have a higher end cocktail bar option on that side of town and can't wait to go back.
Best new spot on the edge of Old Town. A not-so-hidden gem just of Scottsdale Rd. Great craft cocktails, amazing food and unbelievable ambiance.
Heard about the "new spot" opening up in Scottsdale from a friend. Told my wife lets give it a shot. What a great experience! I really don't like trying new places out but I am glad I did this time! The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was topnotch. Will be going back again.
If you are a foodie this is a great place to go. Each dish had the perfect flavors and perfect presentation. The drinks were a stand out. The unique combinations were flavorful and sweet but not overwhelming or even synthetically sweet.
Great place and loved the food and drinks. Fantastic service and a relaxing upscale feel.
Tasty hidden gem. Great cuisine, fun inventive food. Cocktails are delicious. Be back regularly
What an amazing team, kitchen, and bar! Right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, the Liquor Pig has set an all new standard for fine dining and craft cocktails. The duck chimichanga and the old fashioned were off the chain! So very pleased with our experience, the charm, the comfort, and the cocktails are second to none!
The chefs interpretation of some classic dishes and some completely unique creations are worth the visit. The extensive and intricate cocktail menu will take several visits here to get through. And,we plan on returning several times. The atmosphere is intimate, yet connected at the same time. The service was seamless and unobtrusive. Perfect dining experience!
Amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back. Who knew bread could be so good as an appetizer. The short rib tacos were so flavorful with a lemony coleslaw. The foie gras poutine was outstanding and good for a table share. The Fourth Wing cocktail was vibrant and refreshing. The Natural Born Artist was well balanced and delish. Alex was fantastic. Good restaurant vibe and atmosphere.
Fantastic surprise! We were walking around and found this bar. Super creative drinks and it’s worth the price. We had an amazing time here! Great service!
The menu and drink selections are impressive. Atmosphere is upscale pub comfort. Brad is engaging. My new favorite place.
Liquor Pig is the kind of bar/restaurant that immediately pulls you in with its warm, welcoming ambience. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and laid-back — dim lighting, great music, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The food is absolutely standout. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re just snacking or settling in for a full meal, the kitchen consistently delivers plates worth coming back for. But the real star here is the alcohol. Liquor Pig takes its alcoholic beverages seriously — from creative signature cocktails to a well-curated selection of spirits, beers, and wines. The drink menu is extensive without being overwhelming, and everything tastes expertly mixed. You can tell the bartenders actually care about what they’re pouring. If you’re looking for a place with great food, fantastic alcoholic drinks, and an ambience that makes you feel instantly at home, Liquor Pig definitely deserves a visit. Highly recommended!
After abandoning an overly loud upscale bar in Scottsdale in search of a somewhat more auditorally tame alternative, we stopped at Liquor Pig. There's a real practical and meaningful story behind the bar's name, so skip the negative that can arise from not knowing the story. Call this a Scottsdale neighborhood bar with an upscale undertone. It feels warm and inviting - which is the value you want to feel comfortable in what seem like familiar surroundings. Don't underestimate the value of a patient bartender. My SO and I closed the bar by taking our time with cocktails and diving into a serious and significant conversation that needed runway to get through. Kudos to the high EQ score bartender who gave us the space to finish. And to his straightforward explanation of the specialty cocktails we were exploring. You're going to like the cocktail menu. You should. It's designed and prepared to be approachable, attractive, and a little organic. You'll know what you're ordering and you'll understand what are you going to experience. Trust me...I know the approach because I helped a company you'd know well use the approach to reinvigorate a dying food category. Proof that good ideas have legs. And don't forget: You can still hear yourself think and have add intimate conversation with music competing with your sanity. Bottom line: 3.2 miles from home makes this MY favorite neighborhood bar. The dinner menu looks real promising. I'll figure it out because I'll be heading back.
This place is a MUST GO!! Their cocktail list is very impressive. Immaculate cocktails, great vibes, friendly staff, and the perfect atmosphere for a craft cocktail bar, in my opinion. Check them out, bring your friends, you seriously won’t regret it. As a newer establishment on the block, they are truly doing everything right and have a lot to offer. Crispy was my bartender. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the menu. If I lived in Scottsdale, this would most definitely be one of my regular spots. But for real, my drink was served with caviar… you gotta go! ☺️ Liquor Pig is where it is at.
We've been here several times now and this place has become our regular spot for a nightcap! Almost don't want to write a review cause it feels like our little hidden gem but this place deserves their flowers. Love the ambiance and cocktails and Alec, Scott, and all the staff are great.
We had the Lomo Saltado flat iron steak and this was one of the best restaurant meals I have ever had. We also had the Gem Lettuce salad and Blueberry Buttercake. The place has a great ambiance for a couples night out, great service and amazing food.
Cocktails were tasty and imaginative. We shared the beef rib taco board, the gem salad and the duck special. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and we are coming back for more!
Truly great spot with some of the best and most creative cocktails I've ever had. Each bartender really takes pride in their work and service is excellent. We shared chicken tacos and those were also excellent.
The duck bolognese, black cod, burrata, and drinks are next level. Chef is on point, creative flavor profile and feels curated for blowing your mind. . This is an absolute must eat.
This place is phenomenal. From the drinks to food, everything was perfection. Our server Jacob was awesome. He was so knowledgable about the menu. The only issue was that a half hour of getting there (we had reservations), the restaurant was pretty empty and the bar had emptied out, a manager (I think), came over to take our appetizer plates and asked what else we wanted. My husband said we were still deciding and she said “well you only have 90 minutes at this table so I dont want you to be rushed” We then felt rushed and thought it was rude. Besides her, the food and drink was fantastic and we cant wait to go back!
Aside from the food and drinks being delicious, the customer service was exceptional! As we sat at our table the hostess noticed I was very cold and she offered me her cardigan. It was a small gesture that went a long way. Very sweet of her!! ♥️✨
The food is good here, everything had a unique flavor. The flavor is very pronounced. Nothing was really muted and everything went well together. Tried a few appetizers and the taco board. Can’t complain about any of the quality of the food or the service in this place. The only thing I will complain about is the fact that I think the prices are too high, especially for the drinks that was almost gouging at that point. I would’ve liked to have had two or three drinks, but for the price I only had one. The other thing I cannot stand is when they add a credit card surcharge, especially when they’re overpriced that really kinda annoys me. But otherwise a really good experience good food.
Was looking forward to trying this place on account of the good reviews. The cocktails were solid overall and the bartender was very nice. They told me the kitchen was already closed when I arrived, but they still served food to a couple ladies who showed up well after I did. It’s also unfortunate that they add a credit card surcharge to the bill; I rarely see this at other restaurants and it feels petty to blatantly pass that on to the customer (just bake it into your menu prices). The ambience was cool, but not sure if I’d go back based on this experience.
Online it looked more up market with an extensive and interesting menu, really just a pub with all high top tables.Menu given bare no resemblance to the online one, much smaller. I had the tacos ,they were good so the chef knows what they are doing, but $22 for 2 tiny street tacos was way too expensive.
I'm was so on the fence with this place but what turned me completely off was the automatic 22% gratuity on a party of 6 (not 8, 6!) AND then a surcharge for using a credit card without any notice. Our group was a fan of all the cocktails. Wine menu interesting and reasonably priced. We were split on the food and felt some dishes tried so hard to be eclectic that it didn't work (scallops). Some we loved (hamachi) but be forewarned portion sizes are very small. If you are ok with the above, enjoy!
I regret choosing this restaurant. The prices are high, the food tasted bad, and the portions were extremely small. I’ve never been to such a terrible restaurant in this area. It’s definitely not worth the value. After this, I ended up going to a fast-food place instead.
We travel to Phoenix every year and like to try new restaurants. We booked Liquor Pig based on the online menu and information on the website which made us believe it was a restaurant. We were surprised to find out that it is a bar with a few hightop tables located in a backstreet in Old Town Scottsdale next to a carpark. The website is totally misleading. This a bar that charges from $17 to $26 for cocktails. Ok, the spam jar is a quirky gimmick but for the price that is all it is. The food is tapas sized but you are charged a full entree sized price. The first time we realised that the food was tapas was on the paper menu where 'small plates' is written. I expect we weren't the first to be deceived by this sleight of hand. The halibut was tasty but $31 for 4 mouthfuls and $24 For 4 mouthfuls of uninspirational pork belly is farcical. We didn't stay for the $13 dessert which was not doubt also a small plate. If you don't want to waste your money and leave hungry choose one of the many luxury resorts or high end restaurants in the area where you will get better value food, drinks and ambiance.
Unfortunately this restaurant follows the trend of trying to be an overpriced Cheesecake Factory, serving everything from thai soups to schnitzel. We were quite surprised to learn that the entree's are actually just small plates. The $30 short rib was 4 bites worth of meat. The $17 potatoes was just 4 small potatoes. What's worse is the quality ranged from mediocre to poor. We told the waitress that all four of us hated the schnitzel, but she couldn't care less. We gave up after ordering 7 dishes and went across the street for tacos. The cocktails were pretty good and honestly that and the music were the only saving grace. ADDENDUM: Thank you for your response. Unfortunately we tried to give direct feedback to the server last night. They brushed it off and no one else came by to check in despite us being some of the only diners there. The server also acknowledged the extremely small portion sizes. The overall point is for that much money, the flavors should be MUCH better. It shouldn't cost the same as a Michelin star restaurant in a major city. In addition, if you are going to have so many pricey small plates, then I would suggest having a handful of larger dishes as well that at least fill people up. Perhaps a burger or a large chicken dish, etc.
Bait and switch. Restaurant owners with this attitude are extremely offputting. I understand the restaurant business is very difficult, but helicopter parenting your restaurant is bad for business and your employees. Be nicer when someone comes in man. Seriously you get one shot at a first impression. Make it count.
Our first time here on Valentine's Day. It was awful. We made reservation and we had this tiny table by the wall, could barely fit food on the table. Chair was wobbly. AC was blasting cold. Drinks had decent presentation but were gross. Food was average. Asked us to leave for next reservation but didn't tell us ahead. We're happy too. Good riddance.
