Very pleased with the food. Their happy hour is Mon-Fri 4-7. The tuna tacos were delicious and 8 bucks. They use a different sauce than most tuna tacos that just works so incredibly well. Their "smashburger" on Thursdays are only 7 bucks and it comes with fries and a pickle. It was more like a normal double cheese burger than a smashburger but that just means more meat for me. It was well made, and it's a lot of food for a restaurant in this economy. Seriously impressed. Lastly, they got the wine reduction in the Shepard's pie (~21$) down. Definitely recommend. Could mayyybe use another server but other than that, not a single complaint on a busy busy Thursday night at this establishment. Good job!

We had a delightful brunch on a Sunday with no wait time. The Dublin Benedict was absolutely delicious. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. The only slight inconvenience was the limited beverage options for non-alcoholic drinkers. The restaurant does have a small parking lot, but street parking is also available.

Delicious drinks, good food! Very pleasant staff. The bartender’s mixes were awesome. Super atmosphere: dine in, on the patio, or at the bar overlooking the outside area & street.

Great atmosphere, very spacious with dinning inside and out. Our waitress Amber was friendly and expedient. Large drink menu, was there for breakfast in which since its an Irish pub the menu choices have an Irish theme. I ordered eggs with corned beef hash. The eggs were fluffy and the hash was soft n tender with a little crunch. Of course I had a shot of Jameson with a pineapple juice chaser. Great place to visit when in Seal Beach, California. Highly recommend.🍀

Food was OK Came in before the annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade. They had quite a few tables that were reserved that I guess was to be expected. Music was quite loud playing Christmas music. I know it’s a bar atmosphere but it seemed rather loud. Service was excellent. Place was very nicely located in the heart of downtown Seal Beach.

Nice neighborhood pub! Leans into comfort food. Can be loud when crowded or they have live entertainment. Small covered patio out front. Unusual for Seal Beach, they have their own dedicated parking lot.

Typical food you find in any bar seating. Beer, burgers, wings, etc. The Cowboy Up burger was a great option though and very enjoyable. The bun was so fluffy and buttery which made the toppings come together so well. The fries were delicious as well. And our waitress did a great job taking care of our table. There was a singer with a guitar there on Friday night which was fun.

Fun hang spot with good food and happy hour drinks. Garlic fries are loaded with garlic. They have multiple flavors of the Hennessey's Lemonade including an Arnold Palmer. Try them all. All the juices for their cocktails are fresh squeezed at the bar.

Parking, has a small private lot but plenty of street parking Accommodated our party of 30 on a Saturday night Warmers worked perfectly & we didn’t even notice we were sitting outside just covered overhead. Live music was great, when they took a break song choice was great too. Service was quick & efficient especially for a party of 30!! Food came out quick. Only docked a star cause it’s a bit over priced for not seasoned enough food. Restrooms were clean.

I’ve been coming to Hennessey’s for a couple of years and generally enjoy it, which is why today stood out. Stopped in around 2:45 PM for the Smashburger special and asked to sub a Beyond patty. I don’t love being charged extra for a vegetarian option, but I was fine with the $3 upgrade. What I wasn’t fine with was being told I had to pay $19 for the same burger everyone else was getting for $7. Meat costs more than a veggie patty, so the math ain’t mathin. That’s just bad business. Old management allowed the Beyond upgrade. Supporting local should go both ways. Do better. 🙄

I love a great bar, but Hennessey's fell short. I ordered the Citrus Salad, and it was not good. The dressing widely missed the mark, and it was a jumbled mess, with not much feta. The chicken on top was paper thin, like they horizontally sliced a breast in four pieces and this was a slice. It was dry and hard, just disappointing, especially for 19.5. Service was slow, and the restaurant was not very busy. Wouldn't go back.

Food was ok. Our appetizer was good. My drink was good. The service was awful. They were inattentive to us and did not really listen to us. It felt rushed. It seemed like they were attentive to everyone but us. We would have tipped more, but the server was so preoccupied with others that we couldn't get change. We still tipped but it ended up being way less. We wanted to just get out of there because we did not feel welcome. I do not recommend this place.
