Had a long night driving and this place was the perfect stop to get some dinner. Very clean and the food was the best.

Yesterday I went to sonic for icecream. I ordered a couple ice creams and they had them out in a jiffy. The ice cream was delicious and our carhop PJ was wonderful. He made us feel like we really mattered and I really needed that. Always remember to tip your carhops.

We stopped here for a quick bite. We had a complicated order because we do not eat meat or cheese. We ordered burgers with extra veggies with sides of onion rings and tater tots. The staff was friendly and served our food hot and fresh with a smile. Thank you for giving us a great meal option for our diet!! We travel through here monthly and will definitely stop again. My only issue was the full price of burger that did not have meat or cheese but when a veggie burger is done right with extra veggies that are fresh I’ll not complain too much! The food was hot and fresh. We miss the old atmosphere with music and roller skates. We do understand that it is dangerous and many people do not know how to skate but it was lost it's luster in that sense. The food is exactly what they advertise. Love the new fries, burgers are good, drinks are AWESOME. We miss the old hot dogs. The Texas dog, the Chicago Dog, the foot long coney used to be packed full, lots of cheese, the meat was much bigger and juicey. It is just not the same.

TRUCK AND RV PARKING. We have a 40ft rv with trailer and had no problem at all. 😊 Fast, friendly, and yummy food. They have a great carhop deal for $2.99 (burger and tots). Also, if you order ahead on their app, they have half off slushy and drinks or something like that.

I pulled up and there were two other cars there and some in the pull up line. A car pulled up after me and waited on before me.

The burgers and fries are goof. Tots are too. The burritos not so much. Each time it's not hot and not the best. I get the bacon,egg and cheese.

There fresh fruit slush is amazing. They're Splenda slush however are deceiving because you think it's low calorie when in fact the base slush that they use for all their slushes including the Splenda slush is full of sugar.

Food is good but they hardly ever know how to make change correct so watch your money. All the people or nice. You always have to ask for ketchup and salt. Over all good place just watch your change.

Nothing like a Sonic Blast to bring on the calories! But boy did they taste great! They are conveniently located and had quick service. Don't forget to tip your servers ya'll!

Chocolate Sunday was good and service was fast. Our car hop was a very nice and polite young girl.

Order given was delivered with some wrong items not ordered. Had to have car running with a/c on. Had to wait 25 minutes for food to arrive. It was a hot day there with time of arrival was wear and tear on vehicle while waiting. Then take in account I had to take longer to get the right order. It was very crowded at 12:05 p.m. Vehicles were in every stall. Place was clean.

I think the morning and afternoon service is better than the night service. Most of the staff is friendly, they have 2 managers that are amazing. Its all about how you carry yourself, if you like working it shows. Most of the car hops look unhappy, kinda kills the atmosphere.

The service was good, order complete, food was good. The drinks where great, best cherry line slush are at sonic. The cherry lime drinks where good as well. The onion rings are good, just wish a tad less on the sweet side. But it is fast food.

Their service is not very good and they take forever. They need better management and carhops that are friendly and can count change back without issues.

Food was normal Sonic food. Servers were friendly and prompt, but had to ask for napkins and utensils.

Sonic has never been one of my favorites and their food is too high for a hamburger joint. Their food quality has also dropped.

Passing thru, we decided to stop and get some quick fast food. Key word here is QUICK. Well, let's just say it wasn't. There were a few cars but not like every stall was being used. Took a few minutes to even just order. Food took 20 mins to arrive. Food was ok. Probably not going to stop there again if we pass again.

To go order 1 minute drive to house Both hamburgers were cold The place was rocking. No excuse. They could of thrown it in the micro wave.

Drinks could be a little sweeter.Also need put a out of order sign on stall that doesnt work! I see at least 5 car pull in and out of it everytime im ther.

We placed our order at the patio and they got it to us exceptionally quick. However my burger had cheese when I specified twice, no cheese. Then it took 10 minutes to bring out the second burger. We are on a roadtrip and have 13 hours down with 7 to go, 10 min felt like forever, considering it was there error. Wouldn't stop here next time.

Went to 2 diff spots with no answer for service. Finally asked someone delivering order to another car. Seems odd 2 out of 2 ordering devices were out of order. Fast and cheerful service once we got to order.

Stopped by Sonic after soft ball game with my granddaughter . Yes they were busy but it took 31 minutest get our popcorn chicken, drink and custard shake. We got back on the highway and the chicken wasn't even warm. I got the business # off their Web site and no one answered the phone, all I got was the fax machine.....only one phone # posted CALLED BACK SEVERAL TIMES LAST NIGHT & TODAY BUT STILL NO ANSWER ONLY FAX

Food was ok. Prices were horrible. Paid almost $26 for 2 combo meals. Had to pay 40 cents extra for a regular cherry limeade, because it wasn't a basic soft drink. Paid 70 cents extra for vanilla in the Dr. Pepper. Paid extra for onion rings. Basically, we paid too much for plain combo meals.

Never gives you napkins and if you order ahead in the app it takes longer to get your order than if you order on location in a stall.

Need to fire kitchen crew cant follow simple instructions or read an order. Just left about 10 mins ago and I my order isnt the only one that was messed up!

They were very nice but tried to serve cold coffee after such a long wait for 2 drinks.

Terrible... If I order easy ice give me easy ice. We got to where we were going and ran out of drink but I sure got a full cup of ice left.

Very disappointed!! I ordered $30 worth of food and I didn’t get my chicken sandwich. I called in again and told them and there response was we will bring it right out. I waited 10 more minutes and then called again. Still waiting for another seven and had to call again. Finally getting it and it was cold and sloppy. Ugh!!! So needless to say all of our food was cold by the time we got it.🤬

Only a two and not a one because the food is decent. Experience/Working equipment/Professionalism on the other hand was horrible. Half the stalls don’t work and there are no signs saying they don’t work so you hop from stall to stall hoping to find one that works. Wait time to order and then get food was extremely lengthy. Absolutely no remorse for being slow, unprofessional and rude. If you see this sonic whilst driving down the road, keep driving or find somewhere else.

You know that joke about driving up to McDonald's and just giving them your money and saying surprise me because they're not going to give you what you ordered anyway? That joke fits this Sonic perfectly. It's a gamble every time I go there whether or not I'll get what I actually order. Tonight I ordered a cheeseburger with no onions or tomatoes, and mayo. I also asked for the tater tots and a coke with easy ice. What I received however, was a vanilla coke which I despise, French fries, and a smaller cheeseburger than I ordered that had mustard and ketchup, jalapenos and onions, no lettuce, no pickles, just jalapenos and onions. Literally the only thing they got right on my order was the vanilla cone I ordered. By the time I realized they had completely screwed up my order I was already home. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened either. I gave them 2 stars only because their ice cream is good and they at least got my ice cream right.

So I used the window service.....i ordered a cone and another lady made it while the cashier checked me out. Then it fell and instead of getting me a new one and throwing that away. The lady picked it up off the floor and put more ice cream on it.

The honey barbeque popcorn chicken that I purchased was extremely hard from sitting too long. Only a few were edible, I'll never go back to Sonic.

Don’t waste your time going to this sonic you won’t get service waited 10 mins no one even acknowledge us, so we left tried again and guess what no one ever even answered the call button can’t even rate their food because never got any so my suggestion is take the extra little drive and go to Lubbock because by time you would waited on you would already be headed back from Lubbock will not go back

The person kept talking over me when I was ordering. They put in my order wrong. I asked them to fix it, they kept talking over me, it was put it wrong again. Then the manger came outside, I showed him how it was wrong and he only cared to argue and not fix it. So in the end I wasted 30min of my time and got no food. Ghetto and would rather go somewhere else in the future.

Just got a meal up there found out when I got home the fries are stale and old not happy wouldn't feed them to my dogs

Service was great, but the fries were only half cooked, and my steak burger was cold. The only thing good was the ice cream sundae and the ice cream cone.

Do not go here. This place is slow, and they don’t answer the stall calls. I waited for 10 minutes for them to answer a call and then went through the drive through and waited 10 minutes for a single onion ring. Outrageous.

Ordered a #3 with jalapenos, and a large extreme tatertots and some drinks. The drinks came out fine but my food did not. The chilli in the tater tots was burnt, and there were black chunks, I was missing the jalapeños and onions on the tatertots. The super sonic bacon cheese burger was also wrong. I added jalapeños to it and it was missing the bacon and for some reason had ketchup on it? And the last thing is the top bun on the burger was hard. Pretty bad experience. Don't plan on getting food again from there.

We got to the Sonic in Slaton 30 minutes before closing...the woman on the intercom had an ugly attitude, and got my uncomplicated order wrong. The woman that delivered our drinks and icecream was even more rude, making a face from when she exited the door, til she got to the car. She shoved the tray holding the 3 icecream cones into the window, with the icecream slumped over, touching the tray; she did not even wait for us to return the tray to her, so I left it on a table. Rather than reading off our order, we got "Here's this, here's that." One-star service.

They always get your order wrong and if you tell them its wrong they will hate you forever! I got a sweet green tea at the window and I tasted it and it wasn't sweet so i "nicely" told her that it wasn't sweet and that I wanted it sweet, so one of the managers her name is Maria went by the girl that got my drink and said "what's wrong with it now" in a rude way and the girl told her it wasn't sweet. So she snatches the drink from the girl, goes and makes it and comes back and slams the drink on the table by the window. I just kept looking at her and said is there a problem? She just turned her head and left. Wow and thats a manager. They get mad if you go ask for waters with lemon. They have kids making your food and they go and take brakes by the dumpster smoking weed! They're pants are always hanging off the waist. They only hire who they want. I am giving it a one star because we have experienced rude service and an ex worker from sonic told me alot of things of how they run it and how they treat people. If you order through the speaker and don't say it right you better believe they are on the other side laughing and talking about you! The managers are rude all the time and sometimes the car hops as well. The workers at the sonic on Milwaukee need to come give these horibble managers and employees a good lesson on customer service. This has to stop its ridiculous. We'll drive to the sonic in lubbock to avoid this horrible service!

Took ten minutes to answer the button. Screen wasn't good so couldn't see what to push. It auto added a tip, luckily only rounding up. Also note they were not busy so service should have been excellent. Server was polite and read the order.

If i could give no stars i would!!! I go to this sonic every day only because there isn't really anything in Slaton. Tonight i ordered a super sonic double cheeseburger with a rout 44 sweet tea and i got an unsweet tea. I pulled around to get the right drink and they brought me another unsweet tea!! Then when i got home i had absolutely no veggies on my burger!!! I'm so tired after work and don't want to complain again. They probably won't get it right anyway! I'm just done with sonic! I'll go to Lubbock before i go here again!!!

I have come to this sonic a few times, and every time I order from the app, I have to push the button after 15 minutes, to recorder my order. And this time, I had to push the button twice cause another 10 Minutes passed and I still didn't get my order. It was just a corn dog kids meal and a few drinks. And even then, one of my drinks weren't what I ordered.

Just went there. Tried to order the 6 piece honey barbecue wings, guy tells me "we don't carry that any more" (I'm sitting there staring at on the menu) and turns off the speaker, now I'm sitting there saying "hello", "hello", "HELLO!" nothing, so I ended up leaving. I won't be coming back, I like going there about twice a week, but now more. Slaton doesn't much in the way of places to eat and I guess that's one less for me.

If you're eating here it's probably bc you thought there would be food to eat in Lubbock as you pass through but there isn't any. Sorry about your bad luck. Have fun waiting on your food for over 10 min and hope you can catch the change they give you in a wad of ones. Avoid!!

I have a pretty simple order as far as Sonic orders go. #3 plain with mustard, tots, Route 44 1/2 and 1/2 tea with light ice..... I got a #3 loaded, tots, route 44 sweet tea with no ice ..... Lol killing me

Sonic in Slaton used to to be excellent. Their food was good. Service was great. What I ordered was actually what I received. The last couple of years they have gone down hill. Every time I go there I either get extremely old or overcooked food, or a completely different item than I ordered, or missing items. Every single time. It is so annoying to get all the way home with your food and realize that it is wrong and have to drive all the way back. I do not understand how the order gets messed up in the first place. They verify your order at the speaker box and in person when it is delivered. If you know what I ordered and I verified what I ordered then how is it not correct??? When I visit now( which is not very often because I am tired of the headache) I make the person that brought me my order stand there until I make sure I received what I ordered. Sounds a little harsh but it is the only way to make sure i actually get what I ordered.

Ordered breakfast burritos and they were about empty. The tortilla was half folded in and the filling was about 1/4 what it used to be. The service sucked as well

I've been to this location numerous times ,. ( only because it's close to my house ) the quality control is non existent I have never got what I ordered here. Unhappy but I still need to eat. Most of the time the food may be not exactly like your expecting but it is edible for the most part.

We sat for 6 minutes after pushing the call button. We watched others who ordered through the app get there after us, get their order, and drive away while we still waited for a response. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be back, and from the looks of it, you can't afford to lose much more business. I can't even answer the rest of the questions because we were never served. 😔

Ordering displays and or screens are dirty full of dirt and sand you can’t see what they are advertising . Portions are never the same amount from day to day . Sonic has already cut sizes of burgers and everything with out this issue. This location is a Poorly maintained franchise . It would be nice to get what you pay for instead of Sonic skimping on portions

Stopped someone who mumbled something about push it hard and then said I could use that one referring to the stall next to me and then walked back inside. No thanks. Already wasted too much of my time for that lack of customer service.

I ordered on the app, checked in, and waited15 minutes. Had to leave or be late for work. This is not an accident. Another member of my household had a similar experience on the same day. Waited 30 minutes, and was finally served. There is no explanation other than poor management. Two in my family visit this location daily. Until something improves it will be just one, maybe none. This store has good and friendly employees. Management needs to schedule adequate staff or business will drop off drastically. Don't believe that? What happened to Slaton's Dairy Queen?

To start off, we placed our order and the carhop was not paying attention was laughing when she came back on the mic and was probably having convos with her co-workers while trying to listen to the order.. we asked for it to be repeated and still had it wrong so we corrected them. We get our food and it's still wrong so they have to remake it so it took ten minutes longer so about a total twenty minutes was our wait for an order that is pretty much made such as chili. The manager Abram gave us our shakes but failed to give us straws, he handed out our remake also and failed to give us a receipt but we got our straws after asking.. Sonic never slacked they just need better management, or better workers..

If I could give it a zero I would it doesn't matter what time of day, if there's only 2 cars there they will make you wait 30 min before even taking your order and take another 40 just to bring it out and the food is cold and gross by the time that happens. Worst service whoever runs it doesn't know how to run a FAST food joint.

I usually like to visit or order out but lately the drinks are weak and the burgers are just thrown together with the meat patties to salty and the fries, smell like they were dipped and cooked in the same oil fish had been fried in. I really do hope that this is all corrected or I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The carhop was friendly but the women who took order had to be told 3x that we wanted mustard on our burgers and on cut the onions on one of them. Both burgers had mayo and no onions on either one. Also halfway through my burger I felt something weird on two of my bites and discovered a LONG dark hair in my burger! DISGUSTING! (And my hair is short & gray) How does one preparing the food miss a hair that long?!
