Great spot with great nice people, nice spot to dine in with your family and friends or if you are like me, nice spot to call in and eat on the go! Clean spot with some good good food, so far all I’ve had and been hooked on is the ribeye steak and 3meats ribs, brisket, and leg quarter. Definitely can not and won’t leave out their corn on the cob but it is hella good🤤😩😮‍💨 and I mean that from the heart lol. I ask them to cut my steak up every time since I truck drive and have to eat on the go a lot or at least pull over and allows me to eat faster so they have no idea how much I appreciate something like that but I love the food and atmosphere of their restaurant and they are truly nice people!😁😁😁😁😁

Small town charm, big time taste! Hwy 87 hot spot you must try if in the area. Solid everyday menu items, all scratch made in house. But daily specials crush it throughout the week.*** GO ON THURSDAY AND HAVE THE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK SPECIAL*** best I've had in TX, and that's saying a lot. Like seriously, it's make a memory good. And like all great things, it isn't 1 thing that sets it apart, it's a culmination of the whole. Big enough to satisfy but not obnoxiously taking up a whole plate. Breaded to perfection. Every bite of crust has steak, no crust only bites!! Savory and flavorful. Not greasy with cream gravy you could drink by the gallon. It's just a damn good CFS. Friendly service and small town charm make this Cafe a must stop.

We both got sliced brisket and sausage plates. The sausage might have been my favorite sausage I've ever had. My girlfriend also said the same thing. The brisket was good tender just a little dry but it was still really good. The sides were awesome. I had the corn fritters and I know I'm going to get those when I go back for sure. And for what it's worth they took great care in plating. The people working there were super friendly and welcoming.

First of I'd like to say the staff is "Awesome". Me and my co-worker dined in today. I had the special chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes gravy and beans. And I must say it was not only great but filling aswell. My co worker had the 3 meat plate. Brisket, sausage and ribs onion rings and cole slaw. He said great customer service, and the food was delicious to the last bite. Thank You again.

Nicest Gals in town slinging some pretty delicious grub. Brisket sandwich and cheeseburgers were amazing. Potato salad, Mac n Cheese and Apple Stacks were all winners. Modest by all appearances, but a rare Texas gem.

The Brandon burger was delicious along with the chicken sandwich, onion rings and tater tots. The restaurant definitely has a warm charm to it

Had been recommended to stop by and try by a few coworkers. The food did not disappoint. I had a brisket sandwhich and it was pretty good. Worth a drive to give it a try, will be back to try the Smiley Pie!

I haven't left a review in quite awhile but I find it necessary to leave one now. This is definitely our happy place. My husband and I go here quite often. The people here are friendly and the food here is yummy. If you love BBQ you'll love this place. Everytime we drive through Smiley we smell the heavenly aroma of the smoker going out front. They have some darn good BBQ. My husband loves the chicken, sausage and brisket, and is in love with the pinto beans. My father in-law loves the chicken and just raves about their delicious okra, lol. I love their Wally Burger specials every Monday. We enjoy their Rib Eyes on Wednesday and when my husband gets a knack he wants their delicious chicken fried steak on Thursdays. Seriously, their food is delicious and its right down the road from where we live so that's a plus. If you're coming through Smiley, TX and want a bite to eat, stop on in and enjoy the friendly staff and food, you won't regret it.

Great service but the prices were too high for the food quality. Brisket was not fresh. Will eat here again hoping it was a bad day.

Went in, sat down with my husband and a co worker because they work oil rigs. Only 2 other people sitting and eating. Waitresses saw us. We waited 20 minutes and we were never acknowledged or serviced. It’s 2024, racism is old. Get over it. You’re in Texas. We run this state whether yall like it or not.
