Gio Burl

A beautiful location: a veranda in the mountains above Sori with an outdoor area overlooking the sea, perhaps a little inconvenient to get to. Extremely friendly staff and a very good menu!! Very reasonable prices (only €35 for an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and wine). Reservations are essential, as Drin is always in high demand, and for good reason! The appetizer pictured is a gorgonzola focaccia served with prosciutto. (You can also order it with stracchino and served with ham.) The sauce is exceptional: both the mushroom and the meat sauce: thick and flavorful. The fried artichokes and fried lamb are incredible. (Artichokes can only be ordered in the winter to preserve the product's quality.) The Italian-style fritto misto is also very good. Very classic desserts, with the mille sfoglie a bit more unique.

A simple yet welcoming restaurant just behind Recco. You can eat upstairs or on the outdoor veranda. There's no menu, but there's a wide selection of dishes. The quality is good. For weekends, you'll need to book well in advance (even more than two weeks in advance, if it's a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, even a month and a half in advance). Once you've parked your car in the restaurant's parking lot, it's a short uphill walk to the restaurant. The prices are reasonable: you get an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, plus water and wine, for a price only slightly higher than the typical price for a pizza and dessert.

It's a shame I can't give it more stars. I'm thrilled with this place; all the dishes are noteworthy, the focaccias, the pasta dishes, and the Italian-style fried food are excellent. The white wine by the glass is delicious (which isn't a given). And what about dessert? I had an exceptional berry bowl at the end of October. I recommend booking because it's always busy.

I recommend the focaccias, they're so good that just thinking about them makes me wish I were there again right now. You can't miss trying them. All the dishes are generally very good, typical Ligurian dishes made by them.

Great food and amazing authentic

If you want to try authentic Genoese dishes, you absolutely must visit Osteria da Drin! In a small crêuza, you'll find a family-friendly atmosphere, overlooking the splendid view from two outdoor verandas. My experience was positive with every course: the cheese focaccia and mixed fried fish were especially exceptional, not to mention the exquisite homemade desserts. At the end of the meal, I was full and satisfied with a lunch spent in good company and with excellent food.
