I ordered the jalapeño cheese burger, and it was great. The only problem was it was too big for me to eat it all.

I have always liked Whataburger hamburgers but recently discovered their salads. They ate so fresh, multiple ingredients, and delicious chicken. For a fast food restaurant, they are amazing!

The manager was super awesome. We couldn't decide if we wanted to try their new Bacon Steakhouse Double, so he made us a mini and cut it in half to try! It was delicious, BTW! He sat and talked to my husband for a minute. Super nice guy
This is the best location. The food is always fresh, the service is super friendly every time, and they always get the order right. The management is really good here. Would recommend. Update: its been a hot minute and I still agree with this review.
My experence was fast, courteous, and despite being understaffed and probably underpaid, the emploies treated us amazingly and helped us with our app troubles. I especially want to shout out Frank on the drive through. He went above and beyond to help us.
I had an issue arise from my order and I went back and they immediately were able to resolve my order. They were very kind and the night crew definitely deserves a raise.

Ordered online, checked in, got my food before the family of 12 ever finished ordering. Sat down to eat while listening to a woman talk about Christ to a new friend. Meanwhile I couldn't help exchanging flirty smiles with a hot chic still stuck in line behind that family of 12 or more
We have ate at many Whataburgers throughout Texas and they have all been good, but this one is the BEST 👌 👍 meat was done, but still juicy. Fries were hot and flavorful. Clerks were very friendly and courteous, and respectful, which is hard to find anymore. Everything was super clean and comfortable 😌 ☺️
Only my second time eating at a Whataburger. I'm impressed! So much better than the fast food bugers I've had. The burger is huge. French fries, excellent and they have real onion rings! We did go through drive through. My son has severe allergies to milk products, he ate the whataburger, fries and onion rings with no issues.

Was greeted this morning by a delightful young lady Emma C. She was helpful in submitting or breakfast order. My husband forgot to order drinks and she quickly stepped in to make sure we had drinks. Was just so pleasant to see such a servant heart in a job that many just stand there and have not a care. Food was delicious and service was splendid. That sweet young lady deserves a raise!
Coty who works overtime is amazing and always welcoming even when it gets busy. This is one great guy and I hope he goes far in life because this is the kind of person you need in the people industry. It makes coming to order food here a pleasant visit!

We were able to get a table and sat down and waited for our food MAYBE 10 mins. We were shocked! And all our orders were correct! Well done Stephenville Whataburger! I’ve never seen ANY Whataburger move this fast. Y’all were like Chick-fil-a fast! Keep up the good work!

Nice Tarleton State University themed Whataburger.. Solid service but a little slow for fast food. Very typical Whataburger quality food - not stellar but definitely meets brand standards.

Brand new Whataburger. Like always Whataburger is great, but I think they were still trying to figure a few things out and was shocked that they did not have free Wi-Fi. Typical great Whataburger, though with the bun toasted perfectly french fries cooked as expected from Whataburger and I always love the cups that can take heavy drink holder abuse.
This is my closest Whataburger. Every time I come to town I stop in for my Patty Melt. The last 3 visits they have had zero ketchup! None, no spicy, no regular. Makes me not even want my fries!
I love Wataburger and when this one is good, it us wonderful. Unfortunately it is inconsistent in quality. Last visit they served limpy old fries with a great burger.
Stopped for breakfast. Ordered pancake platter. Waited for 24 minutes for my order. I had asked at 20 mins. When she brought my order. No syrup, butter or fork and knife pack. Second time this month that dining room service was not up to Whataburger standards of old. Drive thru gets all the attention.

The food is usually good. The tables are dirty many times, as well as the fountain area. I like the manager. He is usually very friendly and helpful.

Number 4 is always good, but I can't instances why you don't have Cob salad available when in the menu. It was great the first time with chicken, but when I returned a week later, I didn't have it....disappointed, to say the least.
My family loves whataburger, but just like everywhere else, they just don't have enough employees to keep up with the demand on super busy nights. The restaurant was packed and the staff were doing a great job of taking orders, getting orders out fairly quickly & filling special request but they did not have enough staff to keep up with the cleanliness of the restaurant and massive amounts of trash.
20-25 minutes to get my order. No paper menu I could look at. I have limited vision and can't read the board behind the counter. They are squeezing the bottom of the fri box to give you less fries. That's a McDonalds trick. Don't stoop to their level!

Then she asked, “Well, what did you order.” With a stern voice and seemed annoyed. Food was amazing, but service was okay..please work on this.

Manager on duty was very unprofessional. Yelling at employees to the point where everyone in the dining room could hear. He obviously thought yelling at employees made him look good but instead made him look unprofessional and disrespectful. The cashier who attended to me was very nice. The PROBLEM is the manager on duty.

You should not have employees that are clearly not on the clock sit in lobby and talk about other employees working whether they do their best or not. Very unpleasant lunch. Do better and be better!

came in to eat and workers were banging on tables and playing around while, myself, and many others waited in line for someone to ring us up. there was overfilled trash and nothing was stocked up. i came around night shift.

Coby, the manager screamed and harassed another female worker in front of us for over 5 minutes stopping the line completely. Everyone was silent watching him take out his anger on this poor young girl. It was sickening to watch a man be allowed to disrespect a female coworker in a work environment. Aside from that there was THREE roaches under our table and Coby again, couldn't have a care in the world and became hostile towards my friends and I as well when we informed him.

I am a huge fan of Whataburger but the Stephenville location is the worst for service. I have not left any reviews but after my 4th bad experience, I have to leave one. It’s either been food made wrong, got wrong order, excessive 20minute wait in the drive thru and today customer service at the window. I asked for a refund and received it but then I was told I could have my food but I would not take the food because I believe in paying for it. Of all the whataburger I contribute to, this is the worst location and it’s a disappointment!!

The excessive yelling at employees is getting ridiculous I can't even eat in the lobby in the mornings without hearing commotion in the kitchen it's bullying and abuse of power. It's always at young girls SMH 👎🏻
Nasty bathroom and dining room. Food comes out wrong more than not. For a new location only couple years old, it's in sad shape. Men's bathroom has no mirror, just hooked in the wall. Concrete leading up to entrance is nasty👎👎. Majority of staff seems incompetent.
We ordered online for curbside pick up. We arrived and checked in and waited. After 30 minutes I went in to see what was taking so long because there were no cars in the drive thru and we were the only ones at curbside. Our order was setting on the counter ready and the employees just standing around talking to each other. We ask and were told none of the employees wanted to take the order out because it was too hot outside.
Always so bad. Only time I’ve gotten fresh fries is in the middle of a huge rush but it takes over an hour to get food. And when it’s slow service is still slow for old reheated food.
Never got our food after 20-25 minutes. An employee tried to pass off someone else's order on us after we'd inquired about our order. Nice environment and manager was trying to be accommodating, but it's a hard pass.
This place is an actull joke. They don't take curbside orders to THE CURBSIDE they just set it on the pickup counter and piss you off enough you have to walk in and get it after waiting 30 mins. I ordered curbside for a reason!
This place has gotten super slow, especially with door dash customers! They intentionally had no less than 4 dashers in the dining area waiting for orders and they were all at least 20-30 minutes in there waiting for orders. There was only one or two other customers dining in, and I heard the kitchen staff calling door dash orders ready, but the cashier wasn’t getting the orders to the dashers. I am not a doordash employee, just a passerby who happened to witness the intentional slowness of the door dash orders going out. I even heard one dasher tell the manager that they had a customer asking for a $5 discount for the wait, to which the manager responded with a denial saying they couldn’t do anything like that. I think this is awful that an establishment is acting like this towards another business.. door dash or not, it’s very unprofessional.
Looked forward to Whataburger in Stephenville. Don’t! 30 min. 3 tables still have no food. Supposedly they are remaking. Pretty sure someone in the driveway got the wrong order. They don’t know what happened. Where is the manager?
First - no trays. Then COLD burgers. We asked for help and waved for employees but we're ignored. Sad way to treat people who have never been here. From Washington. Not a good experience. Only hot food = French fries and Onion Rings.

Since the prices have increased for this place, Whataburger's food has gone downhill. First off, the drinks never taste right. Dr. Pepper tastes like Flavored carbonated water, and the root beer tastes like what the Dr. Pepper is supposed to be. If I want a drink, it should taste like the drink I ordered. Next, for my burger, I asked for the number one no pickles no tomatoes, I'm allergic to tomatoes and I just don't like pickles in general. They literally hit the tomatoes on my sandwich, and I had an allergic reaction because of it. They also had the pickles on my sandwich. My husband tried to get the attention of the people in the window, and they just completely ignored us. Will not be going back to this whataburger until they start doing better.
Came in to pick up a dash and the young lady at the front register seen us looking at our order. She came towards us and snatched the order out of my hands rudely. I don’t know if she wax having a bad day but there is no reason to treat your customers rude. I asked for the manager and she then came and we talked about the situation. I used to love Whataburger, but the meal I just had was trash. The drink had no flavor at all. They apparently ran out of syrup for the drink, and it tasted terrible. I know Sprite is clear, and that makes it hard to notice an issue, but how do you not sporadically check your supply in the back? The fries served to me were somehow overcooked, and cold at the same time. I guess they had been sitting there all afternoon, but rather than throwing them away and serving me something fresh, they chose to serve the trash fries to me instead. The chicken nuggets, excuse me, "boneless wings", were small, old, cold, and dry. A trash meal that they charged almost $15 for. Even if the food was good, that is a ridiculous and unsustainable price. I likely won't be back after this experience.

This location specifically needs some help. The drinks are CONSTANTLY flat and the fries are always old and without salt. Both sandwiches we ordered were sloppily put together. On top of that none of the sauces that were ordered and charged for were included in the bag. With it being dinner time on a Friday night we excepted better.

I went in and gave my name for the online order, as usual. They ran back to check on it, then brought out my drink (which I had to remake, since the app does not let you say that you don't want them to make it). While making my drink, my food apparently came out, but no one ever called my name or anything. I finished my drink, and was standing in the lobby area waiting for my food to come out. A few minutes later the worker who gave me my drink said to the worker at the register "he's right there." They then went to a customer facing shelf and grabbed an order and brought it to me. I asked why they never called my name, and was told they don't do that. This part is super dangerous. Any customer could come up and mess with food on that shelf, or even just take someone else order. I took my food and drove away. A few miles away, my passenger pulled out my chicken sandwich and handed it to me to eat. It was horrible. Obviously not a spicy chicken sandwich. It was extremely bland, and just tasted like breading. I tried to eat it anyway, but could only eat about half of it. As I was wrapping it back up to throw out, I noticed that the back side of it was covered in congealed grease. This makes me think that it was not even cooked recently (possibly why I got one that was not apicy). All in all, this has to be the worst experience at a whataburger that I have ever had.
My mom has never been to a Whataburger so I take her with me tonight through the drive-thru and she excitedly said to the lady, It's my first time ever trying Whataburger! in a very happy tone and then listed what she wanted and the lady gives us this big sigh and my mom was like oh I'm sorry. Order #968838 1:25pm to go. This was the thinnest meat patty ever seen at whataburger. Also, flavor was bland. My wife & I shared fries. We both agreed these were the worst whataburger fries we’ve ever eaten. They were NOT CRISPY. FRIES WERE MUSHY AND DID NOT HAVR GOOD FLAVOR. WE began eating as soon as we got the bag.
literally used to go to whataburger every month on our anniversary but the last 4-6 times it has been absolute shit. the burgers are dry and old and the chicken (if there is even all the tenders) are hard/ stale. not to mention the fact that you dont get your sauces. havnt always been a hater, but $30 for 2 people and disappointment is not it.

My mom has never been to a Whataburger so I take her with me tonight through the drive-thru and she excitedly said to the lady, It's my first time ever trying Whataburger! in a very happy tone and then listed what she wanted and the lady gives us this big sigh and my mom was like oh I'm sorry. Was that a lot? and the lady didn't even really say anything. Just told us to pull up and this guy comes in and asks us if we ordered the food that we ordered. We say yes. And as we're speaking with him we hear these people in the back. Joking about oh. It's my first time here at Whataburger! like mimicking My mom. Customer service is shity don't talk shit about my mom.
literally used to go to whataburger every month on our anniversary but the last 4-6 times it has been absolute shit. the burgers are dry and old and the chicken (if there is even all the tenders) are hard/ stale. not to mention the fact that you dont get your sauces. havnt always been a hater, but $30 for 2 people and disappointment is not it.
Order #968838 1:25pm to go. This was the thinnest meat patty ever seen at whataburger. Also, flavor was bland. My wife & I shared fries. We both agreed these were the worst whataburger fries we’ve ever eaten. They were NOT CRISPY. FRIES WERE MUSHY AND DID NOT HAVR GOOD FLAVOR. WE began eating as soon as we got the bag.
Since the prices have increased for this place, Whataburger's food has gone downhill. First off, the drinks never taste right. Dr. Pepper tastes like Flavored carbonated water, and the root beer tastes like what the Dr. Pepper is supposed to be. If I want a drink, it should taste like the drink I ordered. Next, for my burger, I asked for the number one no pickles no tomatoes, I'm allergic to tomatoes and I just don't like pickles in general. They literally hit the tomatoes on my sandwich, and I had an allergic reaction because of it. They also had the pickles on my sandwich. My husband tried to get the attention of the people in the window, and they just completely ignored us. Will not be going back to this whataburger until they start doing better.
I went in and gave my name for the online order, as usual. They ran back to check on it, then brought out my drink (which I had to remake, since the app does not let you say that you don't want them to make it). While making my drink, my food apparently came out, but no one ever called my name or anything. I finished my drink, and was standing in the lobby area waiting for my food to come out. A few minutes later the worker who gave me my drink said to the worker at the register "he's right there." They then went to a customer facing shelf and grabbed an order and brought it to me. I asked why they never called my name, and was told they don't do that. This part is super dangerous. Any customer could come up and mess with food on that shelf, or even just take someone else order. I took my food and drove away. A few miles away, my passenger pulled out my chicken sandwich and handed it to me to eat. It was horrible. Obviously not a spicy chicken sandwich. It was extremely bland, and just tasted like breading. I tried to eat it anyway, but could only eat about half of it. As I was wrapping it back up to throw out, I noticed that the back side of it was covered in congealed grease. This makes me think that it was not even cooked recently (possibly why I got one that was not apicy). All in all, this has to be the worst experience at a whataburger that I have ever had.
