We love Campini's! It is delicious and fairly priced. Everything we have tried here has been SO good!
The Campini Special sandwich was wonderful and generously sized. The coffee was good and the service was friendly. The bonus was the variety and quality of the Italian bakery goods, including the hard-to-find sfogliatelle and pignole nut cookies. Well worth a visit.
Good quality sandwiches and the potato salad is delicious
Phenomenal place, nice people, great food. This Hot Pastrami sandwich was amazing. Really cool european style store. Reminds me of being in Europe.
As a deli owner for 25 years this place is as authentic as it gets for an Italian deli in this area the service was great the food was delicious the shop is full of Italian favorites all sorts of pastas and they have a huge selection of Frozen Italian entrees and soups to take home and prepare yourself very convenient I highly recommend this place give it a try you won't be disappointed
This place is absolutely a gem! They have such a huge variety of different authentic meats, cheeses, pastas, and sandwiches and everything looks so good I want to try it all. You can get fresh food or some of their homemade goodies frozen to take home and eat later. Not to mention how amazing their service is. All of their staff was so incredibly friendly that I felt like an honored guest. This place is definitely worth checking out whether you’re just looking for a quick bite or shopping for groceries. I’ll definitely be back!
Where do I start? I'll start with saying that with this being my first time at this deli, I was greeted with a "Hello and welcome in!" That there says a lot and will always set them apart from other food establishments, the food was phenomenal and and the customer service was over expected! If your going to take or or done in make sure to give yourself some time to wait, being that their food is made with love and not a drive thru timer. Thank you Katia and you team for making my first time experience not my last, y'all will definitely be seeing more of my face! *No I'm not affiliated with this business but damn it was yummy!
Everything I have ever ordered at Campini’s has always been fantastic. I’ve had past dishes, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, pasta salads, cookies, cannolis, everything is delicious! What makes this special gem even extra special is it’s a sweet local family that runs it.
For commiefornia, i don’t imagine it getting much better than this. Prosciutto mozz tomato basil sub (9.1): I’m pretty sure one of the more senior organizational ladies made me a custom little tomato basil add on since i mentioned it. They don’t have buff mozz / fresh mozz but you really can’t go wrong with a prosciutto mozz tomato basil sub and i appreciated the tomato basil concoction if it was made for me. Not positive since i know their subs all come with some tomato on em. Cucumber, Tomato, Feta Salad (8.3): great Sausage in sauce (8.5): great meaty red sauce Cannoli (8.4): classic cannoli. Not too sweet and could tell it was fresh Atmosphere (9.4): loved the interior of the deli. Reminds me of Bos/nyc delis with the chips and meats and boxed Parms, etc. Service: nice outdoor seating area, limited indoor seating area.
A must try if your in downtown Temecula or just driving by looking for a great sandwich. The pastrami, meatball and all American were amazing. The service was fast and friendly. All I can say Is, I'll be back. They had a nice little seating area with some music playing
I have been a fan for years. My favorite sandwich is definitely the Campini’s special. Awesome that they have beer on tap as well. I also ordered the lasagna over Christmas to take home. It was absolutely fantastic!
first time here we couldn't make up our mind what to eat, I asked a customer what the best sandwich? (they said everything) so I almost got everything (haha). We got the eggplant Panini which I would of never ordered (my wife) it was really really good, it came with marinara sauce which really topped it off well. I'm more of a meatball sub guy so that's what I ordered, it was great, tasty homemade meatballs with provolone the bread was fresh and lightly toasted (yum) The Italian was great sandwich also, we're glad to find this Deli now I don't have to drive to Redlands to saverino's all the time. I'll be back for sure.. 👍👍
Who hates on an authentic Italian Deli. We don’t have enough of them in the world. And this is exactly what you think of when you go to an Italian Deli. First thing I’ll plug is the wait. It’s prob min, 30 mins so be prepared or order ahead. And the pricing is a little steep but the sandwiches are large enough to split. Other than that, it’s fresh cut meats, soft supple bread and homemade Italian dressing on a bed of veggies. Yes, I will be back and maybe even get some ravioli to go from the fridge.
I love this deli. They have the best sandwiches in town. They get busy, so either order ahead or grab a refreshment and just relax while you wait.
When you are hankering for authentic Italian, go to Campini's. Their Arancini sells fast, you gotta be there before 10AM. Too bad they don't sell Guancale. Their Eggplant Parmigiana is delicioso!
It was my first time here and it was AMAZING! My sister and her fiance had a Campinis Special and I had a Pastrami sandwich. If you want to come for lunch I suggest you call in your order. Only because they are really busy. I definitely will be coming by again.
I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 10 YEARS BUT SINCE THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER I HAVE ONLY BEEN 3-4 TIMES. THIS WEEKEND I ORDERED A PASTRAMI AND SMALL POTATO SALAD AND THEY SAID $27!!!! I DECIDED TO GO WITH THE GREAT TURKEY SANDWICH THEY ALWAYS HAD BECAUSE IT WAS MORE ECONOMICAL AND NO SALAD ON THE SIDE. $13 SANDWICH ONLY. IT WAS HALF THE INGREDIENTS AS BEFORE! VERY DISAPPOINTING. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.....
My review is for their Neapolitan pastry. It was without a doubt the worst Neapolitan I have ever had and also the most expensive at $8.00. I bought it as a take out and so did not examine it closely. When I ate it at home, I was surprised to fine that there was no cream in it. It was like eating cooked pastry dough covered with sugar I threw it away after one bite. Being born in Italy I know a little about these things. My hope is that this is not an accurate example of their overall line authentic Italian foods.
I ordered the prosciutto panini which had red peppers, mozzarella cheese and prosciutto. It was very good. The bread was fresh and so were the ingredients. Basic and simple but very good. I definitely want to come back and try the pastrami and the “all American”.
Called in for a Chocolate Eclair ! $12 is crazy but I paid and left! Got it home, cream was off, tasted terrible and it’s now in the trash…. Won’t be coming back … very disappointed .
Sandwiches are very average. The chicken parm was cut up pieces of chicken (barely any) with bland sauce. The turkey panini was mostly bread. Don't get the hype with this place.
This is such an awful place!! I have an hour for lunch and so I thought it would be perfect to pick up a sandwich and some pasta and take it home for lunch for my husband and I to enjoy. The girl at the counter was so rude and impatient while I was explaining to her what I wanted. She said that my order would be ready in about 7 minutes. I waited and waited and waited... She wouldn't even look at me knowing that I had been there for over 35 minutes!! Finally after 45 minutes she said my order was ready. I didn't even have time to get home and eat with my husband who was worried to death about me wondering where I was!! I will never go here again!! Seriously, you don't even deserve 1 Star!!
