Opiniones de Dragon Express Temecula
You can't go wrong at this place. For some quick fast Chinese food. Great selection fast service and the best part of it all is they stack your plate up I mean they stack it up really really well. They're friendly and the food is pretty good. The place to go if you're looking for a quick bite to eat and you're feeling like some Chinese food.
Great for an express chinese place. The orange and homey chickens were both super crispy, even after taking them home. They pile the food into the togo contaniers. Great value. I went for dinner then again for lunch the next day.
We moved to Temecula back in 1997. This has been our go to since we arrived. They pretty much know our order when we arrive. If you like Panda Express, you won't be going back after eating here. Great portions. Great flavor. Great people.
This place always hits the spot when I'm looking for something quick, fresh and tasty in the area. I've been coming here for a while and my family loves it too (portions are great for sharing with another person or saving for another meal). My go to items are the teriyaki chicken and the honey chicken with fried rice but you can't go wrong with any of their other items. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious food. Support our local small businesses like Dragon Express and find out why they've been a local favorite forever.
This place feels like it's under new ownership because I've been going for years and I actually quit going for a couple of years because the food quality. Had just dissipated. I went back about 6 months ago and food was delicious everything looked great. I asked those any owner they said no just one of the family members had stepped in and it made a big difference. It's a delicious chinese experience, well a chinese american experience.
Great portions, and great price. Wontons are sweet and yummy. The orange chicken was wonderful but the garlic beef was a bit too tough.
Some of the best takeout you can get in Temecula! Always a staple!!! I love it for after my body building competitions and look forward to it after my diet cuts!!! :)
The food is delicious and they always add lots of food to where the box can barely close. Love it here!
My first time coming here... It was super good. It tasted very fresh for Chinese take out. The honey chicken was fresh and crispy, I recommend it. Less then 14 dollars for 3 meats, Chow Mein and two 12 oz sodas.
Been coming here for about 25yrs. Best place. Best Chinese food.
Yall, I have been going to Dragon Express for far too long now, just to write a review this late. It's infinitely better than Panda, and might I add the most crispest, juicest orange chicken you will ever eat resides at this establishment. The staff and owners are always super friendly and will pile on a mountain of food to the point where the box is bursting at the seams. Prices are fair for portions, and I have never had a bad experience here. 10/10 is the best Chinese takeout in the Temecula and Murrieta area.
If your hungry and want a lot of good Chinese food come here. 3x the amount of food then panda they can't even close the take out lid. A 2 entree feeds 2 people easily. Best food in town
I use to go here to eat while I did my laundry across the street. Affordable Chinese food that tastes amazing. Best Chinese I’ve ever had by far. Very attentive and kind staff.
I used to live in Temecula and went to the Dragon from 1996 to 2021, and now live out of state, and I can't tell you how Much I MISS the Dragon. Their food is by FAR the Best ever. I have yet to find any Chinese food that can even come close, let alone beat it. I miss it so much. Don't hesitate. Just go. You won't regret it. HI, LISA!! She's the best. 😊
I have been going to Dragon Express whenever I go into the office and they do not disappoint! The food is fresh and my go to is the orange chicken and beef/ broccoli. There's so much flavor without being too saucy, I definitely recommend that combo! Also, after eating the food you do not get food coma unlike Panda Express in which it puts me to sleep right after. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you check it out!
Beat Chinese buffet resteraunt around. They make their stuff fresh all throughout the day.. Always fresh. And the owners /family are all very nice people.. Give em.a try...
Food is always hot and fresh. Owner came through with a last minute party tray that was not on the menu. Thank you for serving Temecula for over 25 years.
They do a great job at making amazing Chinese food. They offer menu food also. Cream cheese wontons are good. I like getting there fried rice, great flavor. Haven't had a bad meal here over the years every time it is good .
Stopped by here for the first time the other day to try to shop local during this time. I am glad I found this place. The man working in the kitchen appears to be the owner. He was very nice and explained the various items on the menu to me. I ended up going with two of the two item combos. I got fried rice, orange chicken, and broccoli beef in one and chow mien, mandarin chicken, and cashew chicken in the other. The portions were large and the food was flavorful. I will definitely be coming back here more often.
I love coming here. It’s been in town for more than twenty years! You get great value with the combo plates. I always go with the rice and chow mien with the orange chicken and broccoli beef. They give you plenty of food to share but I like to have my own and save the leftovers for lunch the next day. Cleanest restaurant in town!!
I ask for pepper chilli, the lady give me for free
Best chinese restaurant imho, that’s why they’ve been serving the area for over 30 years!
I love this place so much. It is way better than Panda Express. The food wins by far. The employees always load up your plate with food. The fried rice and broccoli beef is so freaking yummy. My boyfriend and I love coming here for Chinese food. Employees are kind and food is a so amazing and does not break the bank
Been frequenting this location for over 20 years and they never disappoint. Food is great, the portions are large, staff is friendly and the pricing is reasonable. Love this place and will keep coming for another 20 years.
Great food and excellent service. Because this was my first time here, I wanted to try multiple items. So I ordered half fried rice and half noodles, with Or age Chicken and Black Pepper Beef. Each item was cooks very well and the flavors were on point. This is a great spot if you’re looking for some delicious Chinese food!

Came in when they just opened at 11am and the food was fresh! Got Fried rice, honey chicken, and Black Pepper Beef. All of it was amazing. Great portion for a very reasonable price ($12.78 to be exact). 5 stars!
Always great, the food is great, especially the Mandarin chicken and Honey Chicken :-D, and the service from Peter and Dollie is always excellent. My number #1 go to option for not only Chinese food, but just a great meal in general. Highly recommend it.
25 year customer! Portions are big. Orange chicken and mandarin chicken so good! Amazing customer service
This is my most favorite Chinese food. Great fresh food and flavors. Mandarin chicken is always top of my list
Food was delicious (we tried a little bit of everything), with really generous portions and affordable prices. We got some takeout for home, so we did not eat in the restaurant, but the restaurant looked very clean. This will be our go to chinese takeout place, and it is also great to support a family business in the area.

Great food with huge servings! Definitely Americanized Chinese but 100x better than Panda. The orange chicken was delicious!
Nice little place. Food was moist and hot. Things like Egg rolls are made to order, which is encouraging. Daughter ate Honey chicken, and I got the "Orange chicken. The owner has had personal conversations with several of the patrons leaving me to believe that this place has a loyal group of patrons. For my tastes, I felt the food was just a touch bland. I did sample Broccoli beef before settling on the orange chicken.

I've always wanted to stop and try this place out and I'm happy I did the food was hot fresh and tasted really good.
I've had worse. Prices are ridiculous for the quality of the food but not so much for the quantity. Definitely trying to give Panda Express vibes. For those that need to know, the Orange Tofu is more like sweet and sour tofu. It's good but there's no hint of orange in it. Fried rice is ok, too much smoke flavor, but the shrimp is cooked well. The vegetable chow mein tastes like it was made with some sort of fish oil or possibly made in a pan that hadn't been cleaned after making a fish based dish.
Since I am leaving this area soon for other places to live, I figured I would give this restaurant a shot as it didn’t seem to have too many reviews. As most of you know by this point, I prefer to find the places that simply do not have a lot of reviews from the public. My goal is simple: Help Small Businesses. That said, my job is also to provide my honest opinion whether I like to or not on a meal. So, with no further delay, in my normal fashion I will start with the menu as delivered, which in this case was Mongolian Beef with a side of Steamed Rice. It is important to note that I requested that the Mongolian Beef be a 7/10 on the heat scale. This is important later in the review as they deserve a fair explanation for appearance as I ordered it. We first encounter a photo or the “As Delivered” components that came with it in the bag. The second two photos are the entrée and side of Steamed Rice in their respective containers. Basically, what you would expect out of the bag. NOW, here is where it gets quite interesting as I was quite happy with the appearance of the wonderful provisions that have been delivered to me as I dumped them out on the plate in pure delight. Colors excite me so I took a variety of photos. To make it as easy as possible, photos 1-6 (after the delivered container photos) are taken as I dumped it out of their containers. Pretty darn good looking if you ask me!! I was excited!! Photo Seven is the aerial shot (Helicoptered the thing). Now photos eight and nine show the side of rice. One with the entrée and the other with a structure from Star Trek that looks like the Borg Cube or whatever you call that. I just remember “Resistance is Futile” from those episodes. Turns out that the resistance did not come from the steamed rice. It came from the Entrée of Mongolian Beef itself. The last three photos are once again an aerial shot, but here is where I get to the portion of the review that I often dislike the most but must complete. In this case, the onion made me glad I am only sleeping alone. The dog doesn’t care about my onion breath, but he sure (as well as I) was hoping that maybe I could give him something more than rice. Just was not safe with the volume of onions to share with my precious tube (the dog). In the first aerial shot you see on this last batch you’ll notice the large amount of red pepper flakes and some red Chilies, which makes sense as I asked for 7 out of 10 on a heat scale. Now, if you move to photo number two, the one where the Scallion looks like the engine of a 747, you’ll start to see that there were a few of these in the main dish. What was more frustrating is that the whole Scallion (whites and greens) and White Onions were all combined in this one dish making it almost all onion. The third photo, after I consumed the meat that I was given, shows just how many onions existed and contributed to the total weight of the advertised amount. I do feel that meat in a reasonable ratio to the onions would be nice, but I will proceed to my final thoughts. Final Thoughts: I am aware that this is a longer review than usual, however I felt that it was best to explain my experience before I published this. I found that the food was fresh and that the produce was fresh! High marks there! Now, for the not so great of things. While I asked for a hotter dish, it did not only fail to impress me on the heat level (mainly saturated with Red Pepper Flakes), but it also tasted of oil and lacked the core ingredients and flavors that I would normally expect with Chinese Food. Bland and lacking something would be a good way to sum it up. As a whole I wished that there was a larger portion of meat and the flavor was more pronounced, but the quality was excellent.

Eh it was chineese food. The portion was small for the price. Very nice workers tho. Would i eat there again? I would say no

I gave up on Chinese food in Arizona where I live. Was out here in the area yesterday and wanted to try some, hoping it was good. Had a pin set to go to another place but a wreck on the freeway made that waypoint an extra 30 mins away so I pulled off into this shopping center. Dragon Express looked clean. The setup appeared that you could order dishes for about $15 or do Panda Express style from the counter for $5 less per plate. I ordered the kung pao chicken and brocolli beef with 1/2 rice and 1/2 noodles. Kids both got orange chicken with same rice/noodles. Portions were giant for sure. First thing I had a bite of was the beef, was way overcooked and had an odd fish flavor to it. Same with the chicken. I looked up and my daughter had an odd facial expression after tasting her orange chicken. I took a piece and it tasted burned, looked like it was burned and rebattered and cooked again. I tried to find something on my plate i could eat, i really hate returning anything, so i tried the rice. Same odd fish flavor. I tried one more bite of the beef and chicken and I just closed the lid and said. "I cant do this" When i put it all in the bag and took it up to the counter, the lady asked what was wrong. In my mind I was curious if she really did not know? She refunded the costs and we left. I can understand if stuff has been sitting, leftover from lunch. We were there at 12:30pm on a Friday though. I dont know if they cook all this stuff in the fryer or they use oil from the fryer in a wok, but I think what happened is some kind of seafood got into the oil and everything taste like it. I might have been able to live with it but the flavor taste like the seafood had turned and it was just overcooked to overcome the danger of food poisoning so it was a very strong and unpleasant taste. Which made more of the unpleasant flavor get into the oil. I think the issue is they will not throw out something that should have been, if it was old or accidentally left out. If something went wrong on a dish, they also dont throw it out. Like burning and double breading the orange chicken. Food is also kept too long in the heated trays so it becomes overcooked. They dont get rid of old oil and also cook things in it that change the taste of other components. Most of these issues cannot be detected visibly, so internet pics and menu pics would look similar to what you end up with. I have very low expectations when it comes to Chinese food. As an Asian i know we are cheap people and dont like wasting things, especially food. But you do have to have an understanding that this isnt your house, you are selling this to people for money. You need way higher standards or you are doomed. This was the worst Chinese food ive ever been served
First time there tonight- the portions are decent size BUT…. the freshness and especially flavor was VERY poor. I’ve had better seasoning on frozen Chinese food. Will not be back- bland bland bland.

Grant it they give you a lot of food, one Item meal can feed an adult and one child. There two item meal can feed two people so there very generous with there portions. My review isn’t based on the customer service or owner. Because there very friendly and nice! The orange chicken was overcooked and smelt funny. You have to be carful with quick service food like this because if it sits out for more then 4hours it should be thrown out. The white rice was mushy and the noodles had a sour aftertaste. After a few bites I threw it away, the next day woke up with Terrible food poisoning! Will not ever come here again. This place needs to be expected with the BBB.
This place is not good at all. The rice was okay but the chow mein and honey chicken was gross. The chicken was too crunchy and water logged with oil, I feel like they fried the chicken and left it in the pan for hours to soak up all the cooking oil... every bite I took the grease would blow out of my mouth. Had to toss the whole plate 🤢🤮 if I could give zero stars I would.
My family and I have been coming here for years and years and the past few times we've been there the food was old, dried out, and crunchy like it had been sitting there all day and the vegetables were crunchy too! We also noticed that their containers have got smaller and prices have gone up and they fill up your plate with mostly chow mein and rice so they don't have to give you much meat which isn't right. Needless to say my family and friends won't be coming back because there's plenty of other Chinese food restaurants around town that have fresh to order food, bigger containers, and better prices! Sad to think that I used to think that Dragon Express was the best Chinese food place in town, but now they're like eating fast food Chinese compared to eating at a Chinese restaurant and there is no comparison!
I’m not sure in which shape or form this is ok. I love eating here, but they definitely messed this up. My noodles are burnt and the chicken is so dry/overcooked or reused. So gross. Also Henry’s customer service isn’t the greatest. I called to tell him about my concern and he was as rude as could be, stating that the cook may have used more soy sauce. Soy sauce and burnt are two different things….
I went to pick up my food, was refused help by the staff when it was just sitting at the front for 10 minutes. After I went to get it the lady in the front was very rushing and rude. I didn’t open it till I got home and what I saw was disgusting. Every single one of the foods mashed together Like the pic you’ll see below. I called them back and was told that I shouldn’t complain because they gave me some extra food. This food was all freezing cold by the time I was home and I live about 2/3 minutes from the restaurant. All in all I will never go here again. I got it through DoorDash so when I sent them a picture they gave me my money back plus an extra 10.00$ because it looked so disgusting. 0/10.
Most Disgusting Chicken And Noodles I had In My LIFE! They Charge More Then Panda Express, There Chicken Honestly Does Not Even Have The Same Texture As Chicken, ITS DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING DO NOT EAT HERE GUYS, SAVE YOUR POOR EMPTY STOMACH FOR ANYTHING ELSE. BUT THIS YOU WILL TRULY REGRET IT

OMG...worst chinese food ever. Asked for fresh order because my family had a big order that day. The lady in charge who is also the owner lied and said, can't make fresh until the cooked food is sold out, which was sitting overcooked and old. They close at 9pm, doors were still open at 8:30pm when walked in. Refused to sit down even though we had family member on wheelchair. Such a bad experience all together. Never eat here again. Will have food poisoning like we did. Old food sitting in the open for long time until sold. My credit card company gave me full refund.
Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, had the sesame chicken and lo mein it had no flavor maybe it was cuz the end of night and the grease was old it tasted weird I couldn’t finish my food
The girls that helped us had good customer service! The food wasn't great my husband and igot honey chicken and it was very chewy.. I was very disappointed my son got the garlic shrimp and it had absolutely no taste to it.. I've been to Dragon Express a few years back and it was good I'm not sure what happened! I won't be going back 😢
Wow had the steamed rice with teriyaki chicken, started off good, But after I left in about 15 minutes into my ride home, my mouth started watering and I knew I had to throw up so I had to make an emergency stop and get pulled over! Was not good and then later my friend who told me about the place and we stop and eat lunch there she also got sick at about 5 o’clock in the evening felt like food poisoning!
I ordered a 3 item plate with Mandarin chicken, orange chicken, and honey chicken. Worse Chinese food ever. The meat was just fried with sauce placed on it. The sauce did not have flavors. I might has well went to Panda Express. Don't waste your money. ORANGE CHICKEN SHOULD TASTE LIKE ORANGE CHICKEN. How The honey chicken did mkt taste like honey chicken. I would have been better off getting some sauce from the grocerybseetore and made it myself. I will not be back. I cant even finish it. Chinese food imshould pop with flavor. Lastly, there were burnt pieces in it. I threw it away! Waste of money! Yuck!!🤢🤮
