Great place to get a great burger or chicken sandwich. They have a Smoky dipping sauce that is AWESOME! You need to stop by and get you some of their goodness!!!

The service was outstanding. My bacon burger and fries got dumped on the floor next to our table (my fault), and they quickly made me another one at no charge. They were very kind and the food was delicious!

Does not feel like a fast food restaurant at all

This was our first time ever eating at this fast food chain. We were from out of town passing through town on our way back home. Our experience here was outstanding! Our burgers were delicious, and the fries were really good. Even though they were string fries, they were cooked perfectly. My Mom ordered the chilli dog and she enjoyed her whole meal aswell. We did order the ice cream custard and it was definitely WAY better than regular ice cream. The store employees were so kind and did a great job helping us order exactly what we were looking for. The store manager was kind and did an excellent job helping his staff and was active in helping clean the lobby and checking in on the other customers at their tables. We LOVED it! I really wished we had a Freddy's back home in West Texas were we are from. Would definitely recommend!!

Dang good burger and tots then had frozen custered for first time it was like rest of meal very satisfying

We love Freddy's! They have the best fries, and their sauce is so good. Make sure you buy a bottle to take home as well as some of their seasoning. I can't wait for them to open up a location closer to my house!

The burgers are fantastic. Nothing special about the seasoning, rather how they cook them. Thin smashed patties with charred edges. Fries and the custard were really good as well!

The burgers are really good except the regular burger that had so much mustard that I had a hard time eating it. There are several fast food restaurants in the area, and I did like Freddy's the best. The jalapeño and pepper jack burger was very good, and the fries are also really good.

Tonight was my first visit here. Fast friendly service. Food was delicious and I loved the oldies playing. Kind of noisy but seems to be the atmosphere. It was a hopping place. Busy when we got here but still had fast service and delicious food. Loved the chesse curds!!! Cant find them too many places. Yum!! Will definitley be back for more!!

This was our first time at Freddy's. All of the food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was patient and friendly. We tried the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, the hotdog, and the chicken tenders. All were delicious and fresh! The fries are super skinny shoestrings but they were great as well! We ended up going back for custard and it was so wonderful. Really pleased with this experience and worth the 45 minute drive from home to get away from other fast food restaurants where quality seems to be of no concern and everyone seems to dislike his or her job. A+ Can't wait to come back!

This cheeseburger was just sooo sooo tasty!!! Definitely a fave spot!!! Wish we had a location near by to our home!!! I love the thin crispy fries!!! And the special fry dipping sauce is awesome!!! And a vanilla custard cone is always a must!!! Can’t wait to return!!

I visited this franchise in another state and am glad there is one 30 miles away from the house. I wanted to see if I could try them again and leave feeling the desire to revisit. The food was fresh and just as I remembered so that's a plus. The service was fast and business was steady, they got everything right. And the atmosphere was decent as the area was clean and near the highway for accessibility.

Great service- friendly and efficient. Food was ready quickly and served hot. They have a 55+ Senior Meal that is a great value; single cheeseburger, small fries and a drink for $6.79 The full menu has double burgers, specialty burgers, all beef hotdogs. Fantastic frozen custard. The French fries are very thin and crispy. They have the regular and jalapeño dipping sauce.

Food was amazing! The grilled cheese steak burger was the best fast food burger I have ever had. George was amazing, attentive, and made sure our large group had everything we needed. overall 10/10 experience. Handled our large group of 15 people with ease!

Tried the steak burger and it was SO satisfying. Fries aren't good. Too skinny and mine were cold. Tots are better but the oil they were fried in gave them a funny taste. Service is always slow here so be ready to wait.

Quick in and out for a few burgers and fries. Dip sauce for fries always a nice touch. Smiling faces helped me with order. Skipped the shakes etc. This time. Good selection including chicken sandwiches. If you haven't had Freddy's it is definitely a big step above the arches.

Second time here. The burgers were just as great as the first time we came. Will definitely need to come more often. My daughter got a sundae and asked for strawberries and bananas on top. We expected strawberry slices but instead it was strawberry jam. We brought this up and they apologized for the confusion and remade it with extra bananas no hesitation. She was so happy. The staff was full of smiles the whole time. Great group of kids working here

What can I say? The service here is outstanding. The food delicious fresh the location is clean. The staff is friendly. I got the tater tots and a patty melt with some sweet tea. That was one of the best patty melts. I’ve had in years. Tater tots are always good and the sweet tea hit the spot on a nice hot day. Mijay took my order and was extremely helpful. I asked him what he recommended and he said that he likes the prime rib burger, and the patty melt. He should get a raise for the outstanding service. He hooked me up with a really delicious dinner what a great recommendation 10 out of 10. Recommend this location. They have a drive-through plenty of parking indoor seating outdoor seating, clean restrooms, and a wonderful staff.

We were there around 8p last Tuesday. They were pretty slow, just one order ahead of us, but we waited easily 10 minutes for our order. The food is good enough that it was fine, but we were in a bit of a hurry so it was a bit frustrating. The cheeseburger and cheese fries were delicious! I love hot cheese sauce! And my husband enjoyed the chili cheese dog. The fries are not thin for me as they’re more like shoestring potatoe chips, but cheese sauce makes everything good! We didn’t much care for the fry sauce, jalapeno or regular. Service was fine, just a bit slow. Restaurant was clean and well maintained.

My husband and I came on a Friday evening after watching a movie at Film Alley. We decided to stop by for a burger and then dessert. I am a little disappointed on their burgers, I got the double cheese burger Cali Style. I guess I've been spoiled with GOOD burgers that this one was basic. The patties so flatten together, both make one real patty. The flavor is OK. The fries were my favorite. Thin and crispy, but my basket had a good amount. Then dessert, I got the medium hot fudge sundae, no whip. It lacked presentation, but the flavors were all there. I love their custard. So smooth and yummy. We'll maybe come back for the dessert 👍

Freddy's is not fast food, it is quality food that you get really fast! Literally the best smashburger in the area, we have to stop every time we pass through. The Patty is so thin and has a crispy edge which is salty and perfect. The fries are super skinny and crispy and not greasy at all. They also have ice cream but we've never had a chance to try it but it looks delicious. If you like smashburgers you have to try Freddy's! 🍔 💕 #GoogleGal

Oh my goodness of you have never been to Freddy's Frozen Custard then you're not living. The staff is friendly and professional. The food taste great and I went back for thirds. Don't hurt yourself but pace yourself even if you don't smoke you'll want a cigarette, 😂😂. Don't hesitate stop in you will not be disappointed. The sundaes are so good you will have to watch out and not bite your tongue 😝

1st time eating here, I had the Cali style and my husband had the jalapeño pepper jack steak-burger, Food was hot and love the shoe string fries. I like the crispy edges on the patties. I also had the Original Turtle Custard and my had Chocolate shake and we agreed it tasted better than DQ. The manager on duty was walking around and asked if the food was good. He was all smiles too. The store was clean and the staff was nice. We both left no crumbs 😋

Cute, clean restaurant with amazing staff. We were helped by a tall guy with tattoos and he was amazing! We loved the fry sauces and the food was delicious. I did enjoy my meal (about $10) but it was small, more like a snack for me personally. There were only 9 very delicious, crispy onion rings and the sandwich was on the smaller side. I would come back to eat the same thing again since I enjoyed. Maybe if I got a concrete, it would have filled me up more, I'll have to try that next time.

I love their burgers and their custard. It's always hot and fresh except for the custard, that's cold and delicious. Pro tip of the day... all for packets of fry seasoning because that stuff tastes great on everything, even the burgers!!!

I absolutely love the burgers and frys, I have yet to try the custard however, it looks wonderful. Unfortunately on my last visit it was a mess. There were at least 10 staff members and only one person running the register. A few people were cooking and everyone else was standing around chit chatting. The tea here has always been one of my favorites it has the perfect sweetness to it. It seems that when the place gets busy the tea is not made the same anymore, almost as if half the sugar is put in it. The food is always excellent though.

This was our first time eating at Freddy's. We did not try and froze custards. We all got the #2 (bacon double cheeseburger) with fries. I don't normally eat fast food anymore, but when I do, I like to get my fill. The burger tasted pretty good, but there wasn't a lot to it. None of our fry containers were completely filled, which is a shame because I really did enjoy the fries. I guess I can't complain too much - it was a cheat meal without a lot of food to cheat with. 3 #2's ran us $37, which at the end I felt like was kind of high considering the lack of fries. Still worth trying. Staff was excellent though. Super friendly and helpful.

I’ve only tried the custard…but wow. I love anything that has dark chocolate and even though the custard is not dark chocolate it still has a deep flavor to it. The texture is like ice cream and chocolate pudding combined.

The food is really good along with the service. The only thing that bothers me is the price to portion ratio. The burgers were really good you could tell it was good quality meat but it was insanely small. I look to get another one, and it was almost 8 to 9 bucks for a single burger. This is a little more justifiable for a Whataburger size burger, but it's like half that. Other than that their service and shakes are amazing. Their fries reminded me of steak and shake. All its a good fast food Joint highly recommend you try it once

We tried Freddy’s for the first time this is at Terrel tX location getting food is smooth the cashier assisted us good , food was OK like a normal fast food place but little decent.

I got the chicken sandwich it was very tasty and I enjoyed the French fries as well. the young lady behind the register didn't seem too happy to be at work today. One of my buddy's order was messed up, But everybody else's order was correct. It was lunch time so I was expecting it to be busy and it surely was. It was my first time going to this restaurant and I would Definitely go back and try their shakes.

Pretty good food. Similar concept to Steak N Shake. The fries could've been fresher but the staff was courteous and quick.

I haven't had Freddie's in years and was so excited when I saw one in Terrill. Still some of the best steak burgers ever. The service was fast and friendly for a busy, rainy Sunday. The young lady who helped us in the drive thru was very patient considering my 2 year old screamed most of the time we were placing our order. Our order was correct but the fries were cold and stale. The onion rings were hot and fresh Aand so we're the burgers.We will definitely return to this location.

Ordered the Original Double Steakburger and a Mini Chocolate Malt. I really like the crunchy edges of the meat patties. The malt was good too. It was very chocolatey and the perfect size. Could've used a little more malt flavor but still a yummy treat. My husband ordered a side of chili and it was completely cold like it was straight out of the fridge... We'll definitely be back for the burgers though!

This was my first time eating at Freddy's. The engagement with the staff was great. I'm always looking for a good, juicy, homemade hamburger. However, I was surprised to find that the actual meat or beef patty and fries were extremely thin.

Sandwich was barely ok, fries were perfect. Place was impeccably clean and staff was very friendly. 3 stars for burnt burger and onion. Update Aug 10, 2018 Gave it another try and I'm glad I did! Patty melt was perfect. Cheese was melted all the way through and burger and onion were cooked just right. My husband loved it so much, he bought the fry salt and sauce!

Delicious custard but I prefer mine without hair. They remade the dessert without hesitation but I was surprised that the manager walked by and didn't say a word to us; I think he was ready to go home. The servers were helpful and friendly even though we arrived about 10 minutes before close. They will give your pups a complimentary custard, if you ask. The dining area was clean and most of the kitchen is in clear view from the dining area so you can give a visual inspection before ordering. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

My husband and I drove out there from Glenn Heights. We ordered a #3 and a single cheeseburger. They didn't make my burger right and we didn't get our fries. We went back through drive thru for a remake and it was worse. The meat was so cold as if it was gotten out of a refrigerator. We hadn't been in a long time, and the last time my burger was made wrong. I called and spoke with manager on the phone, and he apologized and said he was short staff due to prom. We were just given shoe string fries, when we were expecting regular fries. The staff was confused from the start. Kid gave me honey mustard for burger after it was made dry, and told me he couldn't find mustard. The manager promised to send me a gift card. When I go back, I'll definitely go inside to place order.

Great food but tables seem to always be dirty!

First time here....I ordered a double and got a single so I guess they did me a favor😁. The fries are not to die for they are cut to thin so it's like eating chips.

Food was good. Parking was very easy. The people know how to help you. The challenge is absolutely the basics. Their mission is get them in and get them out no matter what.

First time customer. I felt like i had walked in to a stake in shake. I have never seen a burger this flat. When i took my first bite i felt like i was biting in to air. There burger are have a lot of seasoning mixed in to the meat. There frys tast, took, and feel like stake in shake frys.

First time having Freddy's and was passing through Terrell and the staff were all friendly and the cashier we spoke with was very informative. I ordered the regular Freddy burger combo and the burger was decent. It was pretty greasy and I don't think I am a fan of the crispy layer around the burger but I did enjoy the skinny fries. But the best part was the frozen custard, I've never had custard and now I am a big fan! We ordered a mini concrete (which is like a DQ blizzard or Braums mix) with Oreos and it was great! I would definitely order the custard when I come through again!

I had the kids meal cheese burger. It was my first time eating here and I didn't want to get a bug meal. It was pretty good. My husband dived into his before I could snap a picture of it. That's a good sign😊

$15 dollars for a grill cheese Hamburger & a med shake. Should have taken a pic, where's the beef? Patty was super thin & didn't even fit the bread it was on. The med shake was more like a child size. Not worth the money felt ripe off. Will never try another Freddy's again I Don't care how hungry I am. Very disappointed 😞

Since I have Celiac and can only eat the meat and fries, I'm still hungry because the meat is extremely thin like a shaved piece of meat rather than a nice helping. Prices too high for what you get. Food is good though.

Stood in line a long time. They had 4 people at the registers. Only one was taking orders. One person watching the one working. The other 2 were messing with the other register. Took at least 15 minutes to order and there was only 2 people ahead of us. Took another 15 minutes to receive food. Burger was good. Hot and tasty. Fries were cold. Ice cream was good.

Update: Still Disappointed—Even After the Call Freddy’s did reach out after my last review. I got a semi-apology explaining that both the broken app deal and the skimpy ice cream portion are corporate decisions. Fair enough—but it still doesn’t excuse the poor customer experience. If you look at the photos they use to advertise their frozen custard and compare them to what you’re actually handed, it’s laughable. The difference is night and day. I’ll bump it up to 2 stars, mainly because they took the time to respond. But that’s as far as I’ll go. The young lady who called me promised to send me something by mail as a goodwill gesture. She never followed through. It’s frustrating when a business doesn't even keep its word during damage control. I looked at her, confused, and asked, “Where’s the rest?” She blinked at me like I’d lost my mind and said, "That’s what you get. The small is just one scoop." No. You showed me the cup and said, “This is the size.” You did not say, “You only get half of it.” There’s a difference. And honestly? The frozen custard wasn’t even that good. Next time, I’ll just get the Oreo dessert—way better and cheaper. Burger? 5 stars. Freddy’s shady advertising? 1 star.

I drove 15 miles for this place and 15 miles back home just to be disappointed. I ordered three burgers and only one of them was correct. They had everything on them EXCEPT for what I asked for. The onion ring containers literally contained only 7 onion rings and only like 3 of them were big, the others were tiny. And the order looked threw together. We had to wait 10 minutes in the parking lot for our food after ordering in the drive thru, which I don’t understand why because the staff inside was literally standing around the drive thru window doing absolutely nothing. 35 miles and $38 later, I basically paid for nothing. I contacted them through their contact page and still haven’t heard anything back yet. And the links that were posted in other peoples reviews isn’t working for me. I also sent them pictures along with my receipt for proof and haven’t heard anything back from them. I usually always drive to Terrell just for this place and I’m so disappointed.

Can't seem to get orders right, had to tell them sweet tea was out, no containers for ketchup , had to tell them their trash cans were over flowing. Worst experience here so far.

The burgers doesn't have seasoning..so I'd never go back

The burgers were so greasy it was dripping from the patties. Requested no bread. Was only given the meat and cheese. The fryer is broken so they offered chips in place of fries. Tables were dirty and chairs were sticky. Workers were nice but not keeping the dining area clean.

Saturday night treatment from Freddy’s. Ordered two dirt n worms… not sure what I got… After waiting nearly 15 mins after my pickup and straight up forgotten about…decided to rush and not complete the order and say here you go… walk to the side ask to talk to the manager and asked if they were dirt n worms… at least acknowledge it wasn’t give him that unlike the untrained teens upfront… but he thought a great to walk back and grab 3 gummy worms and cram them down the hole… looked up at me and said sorry… snickered and said “for real”….then asked if I wanted the whipped cream and cherry that went with it… pretty flabbergasted he asked if I wanted everything that I purchased and ordered… to be quite frank… I couldn’t imagine what was about to come next with the whip cream and cherry.. hell probably squirted on the side and the cherry underneath the cup… or assume something not far from that seeing the training that went on… needless to say… don’t order online… Freddy’s in Terrell doesn’t care how you receive it… thanks to all and have a good night!!!

I am beyond pissed I come to Freddy’s often they gave my daughter raw chicken had she had gotten sick I would’ve been on the phone with a lawyer. Count your days Freddys

I waited almost 30 minutes for 2 California style double combos, both with everything also 1 was ordered with bacon. When I was placing my order it was being taken between 2 employees. There was not a line but I was asked to pull into a parking spot. Ended up getting the food and no bacon. 2 burgers shouldn’t cost $25 plus but to get charged for the bacon and to not even get it after waiting 30 minutes really does suck.

Horrible service, and even worst food. Drive thru just had drivers park and wait for food. We finally got our food and 2 of the four burgers were wrong completely. Had to park and go in to get the two burgers corrected which took about 10 minutes to get. Meanwhile, another customer came over and was asking about his one burger and fries after waiting for 23 minutes. We finally got our food and its greasiest mess ever. Everything just tasted like grease and was full of it. Obviously it's burgers, fries and tater tots, but still it was just grease and very little taste. Definitely not returning.

Don't get me wrong I love the food. It is my comfort food. But for the mf love of God please stop putting the drinks in the bag on door dash orders. The last thing anyone wants is a dr pepper soaked burger and then having to scrub dr pepper out of the carpet because the drink is half in the cup half out.

Tonight went through drive thru and the girl had excellent customer service. Got our food ,and pulled away. Got home our food was cold ,and opened packages and everything was burnt. It looked as if the cook was having a bad day. The bread was hard and burnt. For this to be my first time eatting at a Freddy's it will however be my last. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. 👎

Grossly overpriced and food was not what I expected

First and last time at this place. The food was terrible. The fries were stone cold and like rubber, the tots were over cooked and tasted burnt, the burgers were crunchy and the chicken strips were cold and chewy. We ordered online and went to pickup. It said the food would be ready in 15-20 minutes and our drive was about 20 minutes, when we got there, it still wasn't ready. I think it was ready and was just sitting there waiting for an employee to get it bagged because it was stone cold. The service was slow and they weren't very nice. With the price I paid, I wish I ad gone elsewhere. Terrible all around

I love Freddy’s, but it seem like the past couple of times I’ve been to the Terrell location, it’s been horrible. I orders a Freddy’s Double and the presentation was horrible. Doesn’t look good at all. Oh and they only put 1 tiny onion on it. This just did it for me. I won’t be back. I should have just went to McDonalds.

didn’t put butterfinger in the ice cream after saying they have some. Go inside to fix it and they gave me attitude and then said they were out of butterfinger anyways. Terrible workers that are mad they were working on a friday probably.

Kinda of disappointing to be excited about my Freddy’s burger and this is what I pulled out of my bag…

Yesterday while working I got a email about these smash burger tacos because I was drained from working and not wanting to make dinner I decided to drive from Forney to visit the Freddys in Terrell. My daughter and I both wanted to try these as we have never had them. My daughter ONLY eats meat and cheese no sauce no lettuce no tomatoes no onions no anything. I ordered two of the tacos and I used my rewards so that her and I could share a Large fry. When I got to the window the young lady handed me my bag. (Everywhere I go I double check my order) I noticed I only had what seemed to be one taco because I only saw on wrapper plus my fry. I next asked the young lady if they forgot my other taco so she goes to ask. She comes back and now I must open my bag a third time letting all of what heat was left on my food out because she says they put both in the same wrapper. In my thoughts Im thinking WHY? One of these have sauce and juice from pickles and onions and secondly how do you know they are not going to separate people. So now I let her know there is no lettuce on the taco thats suppose to have everything on it. So now I am sitting in the drive thru she looking at me I am looking at her. I finally said you know what dont worry about it I will follow up on this. After I get back home and try to enjoy this COLD food from steady having to open and close my back because two taco could not be made correctly. The sauce from my taco got on the taco of my daughter’s because they put them in the same bag so after trying wipe it off and convince this child it didn’t have the taste of the sauce she no longer wanted it as she said she could taste onion when she attempted to take at least a bite. So here it is I am tired after a long days work I decide to patronize Freddys for dinner just for them to not correct the mistake they made so that my daughter and I could enjoy our dinner not to mention with that fries that I enjoy they were trash we know how thin they are so if you not dinning in you either eat your fries in the car or go straight home but after opening and closing my bag at the window for the mistake of your Employees all my food I purchased was TRASH. It feel like I was robbed and I don’t care if I spent $7 or $50 I drove my car to an establishment passing up other restaurants that we also patronize just to come to Freddys and not get the service and food I paid for. Very disappointing and something needs to be done to correct this!!! I never got the experience I deserved as a customer and my money was taking for the goods getting Nothing because I kept all the food just in case you all wanted it back because it was not eaten!!!!!!!

First time trying Freddy's. Poor experience. Felt rushed to order but than waited for a while for my food. Had to pull forward and wait and when I finally got my food I was missing half of it. After waiting again for the rest, got home to realize they gave me 2 burgers instead of my chicken club and burger. Tots dumped all over the bags. Won't be coming back here.

Went to Freddy's earlier and was very disappointed my patty melt looked like someone cut it on both sides it wasn't even cut down the middle and was not made right there was 2 pieces of bread on the outside and 2 pieces of meat with bread in the middle of them I have had the patty melt multiple times and was not like this not to mention last time my veggie burger looked like someone stuck there whole finger through it and there trash can on the drive thru side was over filled nocked over with trash split out in the drive thru
