I used to live closer and visited all the time. I now live about an hour away, but make sure to visit when I can. My mom really enjoys it, too, so we will make a special trip, from time to time. The food is usually fresh and hot and lots to choose from, including fruit and desserts. There is American food on the buffet, as well. (Good for those with picky kids) The wait staff are always really attentive and courteous. Great Chinese buffet!

My husband and I have been eating there since the place opened. Lots of variety of food. I find plenty to eat that is very good. The crab meat is the best. We recently took a large group there, and everybody was very happy. I don't understand about people complaining on a tip of 15% on a large party. We usually tip that much when it's just the two of us. They bring us drinks, extra napkins, and keep checking on us. I guess some people are just natural complainers and cheapskates!

Love it. The food is great. There is always to much. Never do get to try it all,,,way to much. Sometimes the service is kind of slow,,but the food makes up for it. Check them out,,you will be glad you did. Ih,,and the prices are pretty good too.

Food was great. Service was even better. Got refills without waiting. The setting has more a country feel than a chinese setting but none the less we had plenty of space to eat. And the price is fair. Would recommend.

First time here, and hands down they have the best Mud Bugs😍, noodles, mushrooms, frog legs, and everything else a chinese food place would have... Definitely gonna have to come back.

I ate here around 3:30 PM, which is well after lunch and well before dinner. The food was still very fresh. I have rarely had food this good at any kind of buffet. I didn’t read the other reviews to find out why people didn’t rate them as highly, however, this is a Chinese buffet. This is not the kind of place you one would expect top-notch food. However, I don’t know that I’ve enjoyed Chinese food at a place where it’s made to order any better than I enjoyed the food here, and I am incredibly picky about food. This place is really good. (I will say their attempt at sushi rolls is very lacking. However, this is not a Japanese restaurant.)

First timer here, it was really good. The food was hot service was awesome. It was a small cups so the waitress was refilling every 5 min. I was thirsty, but all in all was a good experience.

It was around 8 pm when we got there and got our food to go, they got it straight from the buffet stands, fresh food and great taste! I was surprised in the quality of the ingredients. Delicious food, soothing music, beautiful scenery inside. They have calamari too. I have frequented this restaurant for months now, and it is one of my personal favorite. Used to love this place. We used travel 16 mil one way to eat here. Food was good. Since it has been over, the new staff are not real friendly. When the old staff were there, they were friendly, always happy yo see you, the new folks, no. The atmosphere was blah. Been there twice since the new staff took over, it is not the same.

Update 10/2025: they now charge by the pound which makes it a bit pricier, none the less the food is great!! This is my 4th time here and the food has been consistently good. You can’t beat $11.90 for lunch. The food is typical Chinese buffet, places like these are hard to come by. They have all the classics and the dessert bar is great. Not fancy at all, they use styrofoam plates but I don’t mind, I don’t want to wonder if my plate was properly sanitized like other places. Definitely a gem in Terrell.

I was hesitant to come here because the rating wasn't very high. I thought it was really good! I'll certainly come here again when I'm in the area. Food was all fresh and tasty and there was a wide variety of options. Stuffed myself silly. Yum. Edit, 9 months after first review. Went there last night. Food was still very tasty. Particularly enjoyed the mussels in the Cajun boil and the cream cheese wantons. And the service was great. I'm currently having a hard time swallowing without something to drink (post surgery issue), so I drink a lot during a meal. They were on top of it, my cup never got below half full.

Don’t let the lack of fancy decorations turn you away from this place. They have what counts, tasty, hot food. Went there on a Sunday after the normal lunch hour and the food was still fresh, hot, and delicious. Will definitely make this a regular spot from now on.

Wow, the selection is great. I always get small portions of many different items. I like a little sweat and sour and regular chicken strips with fried potatoes and corn nuggets. So many chicken, beef, and pork options. I like that their whole bar of fish is separate so it does smell up the good stuff. I'm Texan, ya'll can keep the fish. We drive 45 minutes to eat here, and it is worth it. Under $20 each with all you can eat, drink, and tip.

Food was pretty good. Didn’t care for the desserts nor the ‘fried rice’. The funny thing was the greeter. She was on the phone when we arrived and didn’t acknowledge us for about 3 mins. Then she was having a conversation with a gentleman that worked there and finally said ‘this way’. No one working there was nice. Just didn’t seem like they wanted business.

The food was great but for take out they don't really want to give you sauce. You may get 2 or 3 per buffet. Eating there would be the thing to do.

Food was warm, but not hot. They had honey chicken, orange chicken and sesame chicken, but surprisingly no general tso's. Good service. Friendly and helpful. I certainly do like this restaurant and will return. It would be nice to see some improvements.

I like visiting here when I'm craving Asian food. The variety isn't great but it was fresh and hot. I hope one day frog legs and fried chicken will be added to the choices. I was disappointed with the sliced watermelon; it wasn't cold and it was bland. The price was reasonable and the service was great.

They have went up in price and removed some normal buffet items and now charge $7.99 per pound for buffet

The food's good. They allow take away on buffet with as much food as the container will hold, as long as it closes. It's not much to look at inside but it's clean, and I just get the food and go. Who cares anyway, when food is delightful and varied.

When I want an egg roll but don't want to go far this is the place I go. Unfortunately egg rolls are very popular there and we always have to wait for them to bring more out. The food is pretty good. The employees are always so nice to us. I just wish they would keep the egg rolls stocked up. The restaurant could use some redecorating but it is still nice. Go for the egg rolls, they won't disappoint.

Food is pretty decent. Seems like everything has a bit more liquid than needed. If you go during in busy times is when the food is the best, because the food is often refreshed. Went during slow hours and the food was cold.

There are lots of food choices but last time I been they seemed to slowly be getting worse. Hopefully they are not bad now but it was pretty ok when I went with the exception of I think their fried zucchini or whatever it was, and was amazing. Really it was amazing but last time was pretty disappointing

Great variety, but the food was cold and bland. Also weird that the men’s bathroom didn’t have a door, so on the way to the women’s bathroom you have to walk past an open area of urinals. A little too pricey for the value of the food (my fiancé and I got buffet with waters and it was $23.80!)

It had good food, but a lot of it was served just lukewarm to cool. That is my main complaint about this place. Fried food should be hot, not cool. And the boiled shrimp fell apart when we tried to peel it. I started to feel kind of leery regarding the temperatures. I liked the varieties, but it seemed as if all the food was not prepared that day fresh, perhaps leftover or reheated several times.

After reading the reviews our family decided to try them out for lunch and I would have to agree that the food was hot and fresh and there were plenty of options available. This evening we stopped in for an early dinner around 5:30 and I'm pretty sure what they're serving on the bar was left over from lunch because most of it was dried out or overcooked. I was thoroughly surprised at a $54 bill also considering the condition of the meal. This was for two adults and two children with three drinks. We will not return and the only reason I'm giving three stars is because they are okay for lunch but terrible for dinner. Our stomachs are even upset into the evening because of the condition of what they serve.

Food used to taste really good here.But the chicken fried rice has no flavoring to it, not even the chicken . The zucchini slices are too thick when they fry them. It tastes like old grease when eat the egg rolls.

Lunch price $12 Drinks $3 Just had lunch here for the 2nd time in the yr It's fair considering no other buffet near but not all great ,food looks and IS cold/warm on top you have to move /mix it with spoons to blend temperature mostly it looks and taste as it has been out for a while since it's not a busy place at all not even lunch. Time lights are set dim a/c almost room temperature I want to say it's to save as much since not much business going on its smart to think so, not a picky person but do like to leave my honest review for others who things like that do matter.

I will give a two star only because the food is decent. This past Sunday 01/26/20 we stopped by for lunch, my daughter (8 yo) is an adventurous eater and will try foods of all kinds. She tried the octopus about 2 hours later she was down with food poisoning... today is 01/28/20 she is still sick with showing no signs of improvement. Normally I don’t tend to share back experiences, but this here is worth warning others about! I’ve never see my LO so sick. It’s terrible!

The food was not that great. There was hardly any selection. It was my first time eating there and im pretty sure it will be our last. They charged us over 60 dollars for two adults and a 15 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didnt eat but maybe two bites. Our one year old had two drinks sat in front of him and he grabbed them and spilt them all over the table and everyone. Including himself. I had to change him because he was soaked. Not even an apology. Ive served before and know that is always a NO. A Horrific experience. Good luck if you choose to check it out.

I visited this Chinese buffet a couple of months ago and am just now writing my review. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The restaurant didn’t look clean, and all dining was done with disposable tableware, which took away from the overall dining experience. The food selection was limited, and what was available tasted less than mediocre. I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with my dining experience. Most of the food was over-cooked and not very hot. There were a few items I did like and had on my plate still in front of me. I was planning to finish eating. However, the server came to the table to take my husband's plate away since he was finished and promptly picked up my plate in front of me and walked away. I still had my fork in my hand with food on it, so it was obvious I was still eating. She had already tried to clear our table earlier when we both got up to make another trip to the buffet to see if there was anything we liked since most of the items we had gotten first weren't good. Since we felt like they didn't want us there or appreciated our business, we went home to find something better for dinner.

Currently in restraunt and food is cold and been on buffet to long. Talk to the employee and he said no manager today to complain too. The cook has walked out 2 times now and run his fingers they his hair and not washed his hands. I am only still sitting here to write this review. Absolutely a horrible experience in a restraunt we have been to twice and it was great.

Food was cold - everything except the egg drop soup. It was awful and will be our last time here. The sushibwas rolled up frozen mixed vegetables and not edible. We have complained numerous times about cold food and always come back thinking they will have fixed the problem, but, obviously, it isn't getting fixed. I spoke to the waitress who was also our cashier and she really couldn't have cared less.

Are you looking for food poisoning? Wel you found it. Come on down!! Not the same place it used to be when i was a kid. Cold food comments are accurate. Staff are rude. Yes $15 for a plate. 2 people will be $40 sushi is literally frozen mixed vegetables left over from the school cafeteria. Any seafood here is clearly spoiled, none of it is hardly edible. Was there for 1st time about 6 pm, or just after when the rain started March 14. Young lady who worked the register was near the back by the steamed rice, she put the palm of her hand on it, I guess she was seeing if it was still warm. Mind you she is working the register, she could have tested it with a spoon, I knew my discernment was right, this place is nasty, 1st and last time, I'd rather drive into Dallas to eat.

The fried rice tasted like it had dish soap in it. The teriyaki chicken on a stick was tough and rubbery. The fried wings were greasy. The waitress only stopped once before our cups were even half empty to ask if we wanted refills. You have to eat off of styrofoam plates as if coronavirus is still rampant. If people leave there, sick, it's not because of covid-19. It's because of the food there.

Walked in, told the waitress what I was drinking, walked over to the buffet and looked to see what they had, turned around and walked out, waitress still hadn't brought what I was drinking out to the booth if I had stayed. Will not be going back

The food here is Horrible, it tastes Awful and was barely warm, and the chicken was tough to chew, like it sat out all day. The “Sushi” was all veggie and no meat, And was Equally Gross. Do not come here, SAVE YOUR MONEY! Kroger in Forney has Excellent Sushi, and is worth the drive to avoid coming to this Terrible “Restaurant”. my Daughter and I’s Stomach felt like we were kicked by a mule after we left. When I asked why the fried shrimp was cold and hard, the waitress said nothing and instead of putting fresh fried shrimp on the buffet, they took my plate to the back,warmed it up in the microwave and brought it back over zapped. I wanted to take my husband to lunch. It cost 28.00 for food so bad that we couldn't eat it. Don't make the mistake we did. Go somewhere else to eat. The yellow rose is in the same shopping center. Their food if worth every penny.

It doesn't seem to be real food. The bed in the beef and broccoli texture is terrible. The sweet and sour chicken send like yesterday's.. It's very stale and send old. Nothing seemed fresh. Won't be back. I prefer to take my beating standing up..

Took my family here on a Friday night at 730pm food was cold my two young kids like crab legs and there were 4 small crab legs on the buffet they got the and our waitress started yelling crab no on buffet for kids, I told her then charge me for adult buffet but bring out more crab legs and no more crab legs were brought out and all of the food was just warm not hot they had already turned off the line. This place is going to make someone sick and too expensive.

Price was high considering they charge for 3yo. Food was cold and old. Staff couldnt be bother to refill drinks unless you got up and asked. I dont mind if you want to wear a mask but I dont like that we were forced to wear masks even though there is no mask mandate. We won't be back.

Food is only decent at best. I don't expect much from buffet style restaurants, but this one could use a makeover from food to remodeling, and mainly the staff! It seems family owned so I understand the laxed vibe, but that's no excuse for the poor etiquette. After being seated, I witnessed a young male employee sit two tables away from me, also sit down to enjoy what I assume to be his lunch. The issue was that he turned on some kind of TV show on his phone and turned it up extremely loud and kept it on the entirety of his meal. Also while eating he kept blowing his nose at the table. Where I'm from that's just plain nasty and unacceptable from an employee. I wouldn't return if it was free and I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Extremely rude cashier. Took her a minute to acknowledge me standing there to pay because she was on her phone. Once she finally acknowledged me, she seemed annoyed like I was bothering her. After she ran my payment, she still never said a word but slapped my card on the counter. Never again

Second time visiting .First visit was great.Good food ,Second visit.Food was terrible and not fully cooked.All meat products were impossible to chew AND FELT LIKE i WAS TRYING TO CHEW RUBBER.I actually had a hard time tearing the fried zucchini apart with both hands.Shrimp had no flavor and neither did the egg rolls or any other meat products.The only thing that had any taste at all was the soups and desserts.There will be no third visit as there are too many good buffets a bit farther from home but at least I'll be getting what I pay for.My wife said our first visit could be rated a 10 and the second visit was a 1.Myself,I say it was a zero.

As I walked in it was moist and the floors were slick. I should have left...but I decided to stay for the buffet. The chicken was just warm and definitely not the recommended hot, the shrimp didn't taste like shrimp, more like tofu that looked like peel and eat shrimp, the donuts were cold inside, the sushi had green beans and carrots in it and was warmish, the broccoli beef was too tough to chew, and I had explosive diarrhea 20 minutes after I left. It cost me $15 for an experience that I regret as I write this from my toilet at home 2 hours later. The ice cream was fine though. I told the employees of my issues on the way out and they replied, "Sorry, see you soon." DO NOT EAT HERE!! PLEASE, OH PLEASE, DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Don't waste your time or money on this place, the food is cold at 7:00 on Thursday. When you ask for fresh food they tell you sorry we were busy earlier. So I guess if they have enough business at an earlier time then they are not worried about the rest of the night. You would think if you still have good amount of business you would try to keep fresh food. Won't return to this place that is for sure!!!

The food was over cooked and old. The dessert cakes were dry and inedible. The chicken on a stick was old hard and lacking flavor. The butter shrimp was good but the sushi and other seafood was just horrible overcooked no seasoning. French fries were old and rubbery. It was just all around bad for the prices they charge. The staff was standing around on there phones listening to music instead of cleaning the dirty tables or changing out the old food. Never going back!!!

The staff was nice and pleasant but the food was disgusting and there wasn't really English speaking staff to handle the issues we had. They tried but there was a language barrier.. They had old inedible food out and when we showed them that there was chicken that was hard as a rock, rubbery noodles and ice cold "hot" buns. Instead of removing and replacing the old inedible food they poured new batches on top of it. Absolutely disgusting.

Wow! I’ve never had such gross “Chinese food”. Nothing was good, very very small selection. Mainly fried American food. The rice was soggy and with dye or something in it to make it looked fried, which it was obviously not. I the noodles I’d never seen before big. Wide soggy soupy looking noodles. Al of the food just looked off and none of it tasted remotely edible. I am not a picky eater but this place was gross. 😒🤭🤢

Online and on the store doors they close at 10pm. However we got there at 8:40pm and they didn't mention their time change until I asked why they had no food on the buffet. They told.me.they close at 9pm. I asked why nothing is posted and the lady said "we tell our customers 9" well thats fine but I hadn't been there since December 2019 so I was unaware. And to top it off we ate scraps at full price including my 4 yr old was charged for 11.99 as well😳! We will not be back and it make me sad because I've been going there since I was a little girl.

Everything about this place needs a make over. Food wasn't good and most options looked a little off. It's obvious the ownership takes the cheap options on Everything from repairs to the establishment to the food quality. For $40 there are plenty of other options.

HORRIBLE. This place has gone WAY down hill, AND jacked up their prices. My husband and I ate yesterday (weekday) for dinner. We had 2 buffets, one coke and one water. The bill was $34 BEFORE a tip. The food was very bland and not great. They're using plastic plates and small plastic cups and didn't refill them for a long time. Over all super disappointed.

I will never go to this place again. Food was cold, they told charged us on our ticket for a tip $20 is ridiculous because we only seen the waitress 1 time til they were rushing us out to close. Then for children 3,5, and 6 they charged adult prices then charged us for the waters we had as if they were sodas. When we went to pay with our debit card they charged us $4 to pay using a card. They have a small sign at the register not the front door nor anywhere else to say if you use a debit card you will be charged. Just a rip off in my opinion

Very disappointed. We have gone here before with no complaints but this time I've got a list. We were there at 8 on a Thursday night. Only about 2/3 of the food pans were out on the steam tables. What was out was overcooked, old, and sparse (for instance, there was only about 6 pot stickers out and they were so old I could barely bite into them) . There was no effort to refill anything even just a little. To make matters worse we were charged full price. No apology was made or effort

THIS IS THE WORSE CHINESE FOOD I have ever eaten! I had takeout and literally threw it in the trash. First the woman charged my credit card for multiple orders, so I have to wait to be reimbursed. Then forgot my egg roll but the food was awful. How do you mess up rice!? Sweet & Sour Chicken with red sauce is the most common Americanized Chinese food. They gave me a lot of food for my $8.50 but it’s not worth it. Quality over quantity. My mother suggested the other Chinese buffet place because the food is better and cheaper. Living in Dallas for 20 years I already had low expectations but this was the worse. Would rather have food poisoning. I never write reviews but I had to warn others.

This place is so nasty. Dirty carpets and the food....... well nothing is hot and everything looks brown and monotone. After a couple bits of food my stomach started cramping as if I ate something bad. The chicken and by chicken I mean the honey chicken and seame chicken tasted old and dry. Sushi looked old and nothing had any flavor. Corn nuggets were old, crab Rangoon was old and dry. Absolutely nothing about this place is good. If I would have seen the reviews before we went in I would have ran the other way. For the people in there saying it was such a good meal, obviously you have never had a good meal because this was not it. I will be making a call to the health department about this place and if I get sick from the food I will be sending them the bill. Email has been sent to the health department

My brother and I decided to try the buffet since we were traveling through Terrell. The taste of the food and temperature was not worth the stop!! We paid 34.42 for 2 buffets and 1 diet drink. I will not visit this establishment again! If the food was hot and fresh I would be glad to spend that kind of money but never again. You would be better off going to a sit down restaurant that serves tasty and fresh food.

THEN coming over to grab my glass for a refill, No Thanks. I'm no Germaphobe, but that's just disgusting. Cold food, unclean waitstaff, I'll pass on coming back.

Lukewarm food, mediocre selection, and styrofoam plates pretty much says it all. Now I drive right past it to get to Ocean Buffet. Longer drive, but 3 times the selection (at least), ALWAYS hot food, comparable prices, and REAL plates! They’re what Panda should strive for!

The food is disgusting. We ate there for the first time yesterday. I couldn't believe how gross the food was. I tried so many things, trying to find something I might like but everything had a strange taste. The rice noodles was actually angel hair pasta. Such a disappointment. I will never eat there again. You couldn't pay me to.

The staff on the main floor were very very very rude. The food was disgusting. Most of it was cold. If it would let me post the Pic u would. Chicken wings don't have 4 freaking legs!!!!!!! To be glared ar while you're trying to eat because I can only presume because we prayed openly before we ate! Then feel like your being rushed is no way to run a business !!!!! I will never go back and will be contacting health inspectors on Monday!

Food is good, nice restaurant but full of hidden fees. Had a table of 4 adults, 4 kids under 7 and a baby and they charged me $12 because its more than 8 people like if they had to do anything for anybody but the 4 adults. Plus an extra $5 for paying with card. Just watch out with the hidden fees from this scammer restaurant.

Came here couple weeks ago, and it was a smaller Floorplan, but they had a hibachi and sushi counter, and softshell crab on the buffet. Came here today, and the Floorplan was bigger inside, and they didn't have softshell crab which is what I Came for. I really don't understand what happened. It's like a completely different restaurant inside. Otherwise, there wasn't anything good on the buffet, just all the normal stuff. I could have stayed in southeast Dallas if that's what I wanted, but wasted all my time coming out to this location. Nothing special and definitely not worth 17$ per person. The waitress didn't even refill my drink, so it was horrible service.

Barley anything to eat here not very many options started eating the sushi and had a rock/ granite in their hurt the teeth the teriyaki chicken had bones :/ awful experience be careful I guess eating here.

This “sushi” says it all. (zoom in for the special ingredients) Not sure how this place has not been shut down by the heath inspector yet. Te food was all sitting at a perfect temperature for bacteria to grow. Spend your $ somewhere else.

I ordered a beef fried rice and chicken fried rice we ordered online at 715 and the estimated time was 735 my husband went in to pick the order up and no one had a clue about our order so it took an extra 5 to 10 minutes to wait for our food just to get home and for my husband to find a fly that looks like its been cooked with the rice I called them and asked if i can get a refund she said sure so I threw away mine and took his since it was the one with a fly just for them to only refund me for one plate because I didnt bring the other plate even tho I told them I threw the other plate away. I use to love coming to this restaurant but since the pandemic it has not been the same I for sure wont be coming to this restaurant anymore.
