Delicious food, a bit pricey but freshly made. Always seems to be a long wait, I suggest calling ahead. I highly suggest trying the homemade Balsamic vinaigrette.

If you're in and or around Troy and you haven't been to Koni's you're doing yourself a disservice. Quality breakfast or lunch for a reasonable price! You will always be satisfied with your decision!

This sandwich had sausage, egg and cheese between two buttery-soft slices of French toast. The meal was delicious to say the least, but very affordable as well. Next time I'm out for breakfast, Koni's will be at the top of my list.

Veggie burger is amazing

I would give it 5 stars but it was a little weird ordering, went in with my daughter was told to come up to the counter when im ready to order, wasn't given a menu, the wait was a little long for a couple of meals but honestly it was worth the wait, the hundson, the sandwich i bought was so flavorful, i thought it would be dry, but it was juicy and delicious i will definitely be back to try everything else. Thank you

Definitely more of a diner than a cafe. Staff is super sweet and pleasant and the food is good for what it is. No espresso machine, so they don't serve lattes or other coffee drinks. Quiet place to work with Wi-Fi.

I believe it was the seasonings on the home fries but I had a histamine/allergic reaction just after finishing. My face, neck, arms, back and stomach became flushed and it felt like a burning heat which lasted almost an hour. My husband did not have a reaction and he has issues with high histamine foods so I can only guess it was an additive or something in the seasoning as I tend to have issues with gums and additives. They didn't have whole milk so I had 1/2 n 1/2 which has carrageenan but that just makes me stuffy. Otherwise, it's a clean place, nicely decorated. I'm not saying I won't try something else but I will ask next time what ingredients are.

Too uppity hoity-toity for my liking

first timers here ! the decor was cute, the food was decent. the cashier was unfortunately rude and not welcoming. the vibes also were weird, almost like we shouldn’t have stayed to eat our food. we got there around noon, stayed to chat, but we felt rushed out half an hour before closing. despite the lack of hospitality, the cafe itself is cute. probably won’t be back tho.

Maybe it's me, but I was surprised to find no bagels and only hot or iced coffee at a Brooklyn themed Cafe. Food was a bit bland but not bad. No wifi also weird.

On the positive side, most staff are very kind and the food is good. However I wish service was better. I was in the middle of work and couldn't leave so I had to "eat" the $3.00 charge for something I never received. All and all, the salad was "ok". The restroom smelled terrible and was clearly unclean (use your imagination). I simply let the owner know so it could be addressed for the next guest—not to place blame, but to be helpful. It could’ve been left that way by a customer or anyone, but either way, no one wants to try and wash their hands to eat in a restaurant and be greeted with a filthy restroom. Instead of acknowledging the concern, the owner became defensive and dismissive. She didn’t respond with an attempt to clean the restroom. There was only one customer so time and opportunity were not a factor. She seemed more upset that I said something than about the condition of the facility. Her attitude was completely off-putting. I don’t believe I’ll be back. A basic level of cleanliness and respect should not be too much to ask.

This mistake wasn’t just an inconvenience; it resulted in a severe allergic reaction that sent her into anaphylactic shock at work. Her work had to use an EpiPen, call an ambulance, and be rushed to the hospital. What’s even more concerning is the owner’s complete lack of care or responsibility. When we informed her of what happened, she showed zero empathy, did not apologize, and even seemed to blame us for the mistake. It was clear she didn’t even understand that croutons contain gluten—an alarming lack of basic food safety knowledge for someone running a restaurant.
