Had an excellent dinner here tonight. The food was incredible, all the staff was wonderful. Alexis and Deanna were so nice. The place is adorable. Best dinner we've had in Mexico so far! Highly recommend checking it out.

I went for my birthday and we had the owner Spencer as our waiter. It was a TIME! He was so fun and made every moment unforgettable! Service was excellent, they really take care of you, when he brought out the food we were all amazed!!! I’m a big sushi person and the flavors were spectacular, now it wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it was high quality, the fusion flavors were a fun twist and yes I would go again and again! Wasn’t overly expensive either. The dessert and drinks, excellent! It was an all around great time. Spencer please please bring Ukami to Austin!

Omg the food is fantastic! It is a fantastic mix of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. Like it was made in heaven. I enjoyed every piece of this huge degustation platter. 10000% recommend. And the owner was very attentive.

Incredible hospitality right from the start from the owner Spencer. Made it feel like he was welcoming us into his home. The sushi was fantastic, lots of unique flavors. We tried many dishes, our favs were: Tempura Veg Chin Chun Chan (crispy octopus) Taka Taka (crab) Ta Chin Gon (Shrimp with spicy passion fruit glaze) And the Ukami bowl. Make sure you get the spicy peppers on the side with the sweet Mayan marinade, pairs really well with some of the fresh rolls I also, surprisingly, really enjoyed the Mexican Sake and I’m usually a Dassai 39/45 or die kind of guy. Make sure you eat here you won’t regret it.

We accidentally came across this restaurant while driving along the road. We didn’t have high expectations, but it turned out to be the best food we had in Tulum. Their famous shrimp tacos are the best tacos we've ever had, the sushi was excellent, and the ukami bowl was phenomenal. We went back the next day, and as a token of appreciation, the owner surprised us with a dessert. The staff is friendly and will gladly give you recommendations. We can't praise this place enough. THANK YOU UKAMI!

If you’re in Tulum and want to have a fun sushi Mexican fusion dinner spot, you have to check out Ukami! First of all, the service was impeccable! Spencer was the best! Took care of us from the second we walked in! The food was so good! Flavors on point and The dessert was to die for! We ordered the omakase and we were blown away by what was brought to our table! Such a great concept and super chill spot! Yummy food, cool atmosphere and great service… what more could you ask for? PS get a hand roll too!

Best meal in Tulum, we came two nights in a row. Absolutely love the concept, Japanese + Mexican…SO DELICIOUS. Literally everything we had was incredible, the fusion is everything. The staff (William) and owner are great, we had wonderful service and great ambiance both nights. Don’t worry about the most “popular” restaurants on Tulum beach….all the same cuisine and boring (in my opinion). I’m so glad we decided to eat here.

We had a great time at this sushi spot on the beach when my parents were visiting. The restaurant has a cool vibe, great energy, and the owner and servers are super fun and friendly. We ordered the special for the group and out came a massive tray of sushi as long as the table. It was a delightful presentation - especially after a few margaritas lol. The food itself was good overall, there were some really delicious bites on the plate. The sushi rolls were on the smaller side with smaller slices of fish and many or most of them contained cream cheese which isn’t usually my favorite but I still enjoyed them. Everything tasted fresh and was well made. They gave us all a free shot of tequila at the end and we left smiling and with full stomachs. I would definitely return again with a group for the experience and great service.

The place is lovely and service is excellent! They have some good vegetarian options (would be great to have more veggi rolls variety). The music was a bit loud. And prices are exaggerated (but like everyone restaurant in this area, same prices than eating in a good restaurant in Paris),we paid 80eur for 2 rolls, 2 starters, a beer and sparkling water. But overall we had a great experience!

Ok there is much to say here. I was in a big group and it was a celebratory dinner. The food itself was good and the prices were fair for the sushi. However the drink allocation was not clear. We were given an entire bottle of tequila and 6 shot glasses without asking and were told the first round is on the house so we poured some drinks. Then the bottle is part way used and the staff asked us why we're hadn't finished it in a playful manner. So then we assume this means it is still on the house but then we are hit with a bill for it at the end of the night. They did give us more free tequila at the end but we felt it was unclear and unfair when we never asked for the tequila in the first place. However the rest of the experience was good.
