Rodrigo was also kind enough to give us a tour of the venue while our order was being prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and relaxed, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

We stayed at Hotelito Azul for a couple of nights and ate at Olivia's several times. The food is fresh and delicious - I really appreciated the vegan options on the menu. Loved ordering beach-side and eating in their cute restaurant. Like everywhere else in Tulum, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS and are not valued correctly. We were continually shocked at the prices we spent here ... but did enjoy the food.

An excellent place to stay for a day on the beach, with very comfortable installations. The food was certainly not cheap but it was very good. Alex's service was attentive and friendly.

Overall rating: 4.8 Visiting from NYC I stumbled on this place but it was hard to tell if it was open. There was a rope but I am glad I decided to jump it to see if it was open like Google said it was. The door was locked but there were people in and when I was about to head out the staff was able to catch me. It was a bit confusing to be honest. But my name is Olivia and I’ve been having a rough day, so it was needed. The staff was very friendly and they had so many fun smoothies. I think this is also a hotel or hostel because I saw a few people checking in. They also have a neighborhood dog and it’s so cute!! I recommend if you have the chance!

Olivia is part of Tulum‘s Hotelito Azul. They are an organic supermarket cum restaurant. What I loved most about Olivia‘s was about their commitment to the local community. I loved how the owner is so passionate about not only their organic commitment but also to their sustainable packaging of Their products. Olivia’s Organics products are sold in 100% recyclable packaging so you can put the container right back into the recycle stream once you’ve enjoyed what’s inside. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner many times as we were staying in the hotel. It’s a super chic and upscale restaurant with amazing vibes and good music. Staff is extremely friendly and goes beyond their ways to make you feel comfortable. You can either enjoy your meals dipping your toes in the sand or in one of their swings. I bought back some of their chocolates to Munich and they were delicious. Speaking to the owner I came to know how some of their things are directly supplied by the local community people and that to me is commendable. Food was really tasty and beautifully presented. If you are in Tulum, I highly recommend to come here and have breakfast or lunch.

The food at Olivia was great! Most things were gluten free or vegan friendly! The staff was very helpful and quick. My only real complaint was that it was a bit on the pricey side, but I guess that comes with an organic market. My gluten free cauliflower margarita pizza was made with almond cheese. I didn’t mean to ask for the vegan option because vegan cheese can be a bit strong for me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The coconut flour pancakes were top notch. I had them before lifting in the Tulum Jungle Gym. They weren’t heavy and didn’t give me a sugar crash because of the coconut flour.

Had the tacos which were the only highlight. The chiveche was cut too thickly and therfore not well cured in the juices. The shrimps were far to salty. The fresh juice was tasty. The view from the roof top of the hotel which the restaurant is located within is sublime, you just need to figure out the parking situation in the area as its chaos.

We had some great food here (shrimp tacos, boneless wings, fruit & yogurt bowl), but a lot of food that was incredibly disappointing and some that didn’t match the English menu AT ALL. The passion fruit smoothie was so delicious we got that a couple times. But the pineapple one was served to us after it had clearly been sitting out for a while - room temp, kinda chunky, and melted. Soooo gross. Also, we ordered the watermelon feta salad and butternut squash pumpkin pasta for dinner. The food came out and was NOT at all as described on the English menu. The “watermelon feta salad” had zero feta (waiter said they forgot and brought a small dish after we were done), and no mango sauce or vinegarette as described. Instead it was literally 99% kale, with a few small balls of watermelon, and tiny diced up mango served with oil & balsamic on the side. One of the worst most ridiculously expensive salads ever. We didn’t finish and it was not good. Then the “butternut squash tagliatelle served over a bed of pumpkin with roasted chicken” was literally cheesy fettuccini chicken Alfredo with a handful of small balls of zucchini squash. Literally so far from butternut & pumpkin squash pasta. We brought up our concerns and were written off and ignored. NOT worth what you’ll spend. I still think we deserve a 100% refund for the pasta and salad.

Not vegan-friendly at all and only the waiter was nice, the rest of the staff unfriendly and very inflexible cuisine. We asked for a vegan avocado toast without salmon, which was not possible for them. The porridge was the only plant-based breakfast in this “organic market” and it was way too sweet. The only reason why I give two stars was the waiter who was very kind and friendly.

Upon entering, one is immediately struck by the **elegant decor**—a feast for the eyes that promises an upscale dining experience. The cuisine, while satisfactory, does not quite reach the heights of its presentation, yet the overall ambiance retains a certain charm. A common challenge in the hotel zone is the elusive parking spot, a predicament shared by many establishments here, and unfortunately, this venue is no exception. A peculiar practice at the entrance involves the photographing of one's ID, a procedure that can cause discomfort and raise privacy concerns for guests. The pricing is ridiculous. The cost of a simple smoothie and omelette seemed exorbitant, more akin to what one might expect to pay at a beachfront location, despite being situated indoors. This incongruity between setting and expense is jarring. In conclusion, while the interior design is nice, it alone cannot justify the premium prices. It is with a heavy heart that I must say, my return to this establishment is highly unlikely. The essence of value is not merely in aesthetics but in the overall experience, which in this case, did not measure up to the expectations set by the visual appeal.

We came here for lunch, and picked out a bottle of bubbly and a bag of quinoa snack bites from the grocery section to take back to our hotel with us afterwards. When our bill came, they had charged us $30 for the quinoa bites and $90 for the bubbly (this was not a nice bottle of champagne, mind you). Thankfully we hadn’t opened the bubbly, but ended up paying for the snack bites since we had already opened them. So, for a small salad, 3 shrimp tacos, coffee, juice and snack bites, we ended up paying $115. On top of that, they told us they only accepted cash, but then admitted they actually do accept cards. Just shady all around. Their juice was good, though 🤷‍♀️

I ordered a salad (over $20 US mind you) and half of the spinach was wilted and slimy and carrots were brown and wilted too. and clearly there had been no attention to making a simple salad and using fresh ingredients. I understand if one of two leaves are like that but half a salad?? It's sad because the staff is nice and the space is beautiful but food it not worth it at all.

The worst food experience I had in Tulum. And SUCH A RIP OFF. I ordered a protein bowl, and veggie lasagne and a water. The water needed several attempts to confirm the order. The seating inside is not very nice because you sit in some kind of supermarket. I had to ask if there is outside seating as well. So we moved to the beach which is connected to other restaurant. 15 mins after I placed the order the waiter came again and told me that the lasagne will take another 40 mins. Way to long so I canceled this meal. The protein bowl came right after. Taste was okay but the price. Insane. We were supposed to pay for the bowl and sparkling water. 680 Pesos. So over 30€. I told them that we were not happy so we got a little discount.

No vayan al restaurante te piden identificación y le toman foto a tu INE y no tienen política protección de datos personales, si no muestras identificación no te dejan entrar. Te tratan mal y el servicio es pésimo. No recomendable. No cuidan al turismo.

Si esto es digno de unos chilaquiles que según son de hotel y restaurante no lo creo y pueden verlo con la foto son tostitos de bolsa sin salsa mala presentación y 1 hora y media de esperar para que traigan esto y lo que te dicen es que tienen muchas comandas en la playa. A mi amiga le trajeron 2 veces mal su omelette de huevo y como el chef no tenía queso de cabra como lo pidió mi amiga en el menú le trajeron con queso crema sin preguntar. Cero recomendable y cero rico. Se ve muy bonito por fuera y la decoración del hotel está agradable pero el restaurante no.

PLACE TO AVOID! Bad experience. If they're going to charge 5$ for a chocolate bun, they should make sure it's the best in town, not the dryest. Also, we were charged for something we didnt order and when we mentioned it, they didnt want to fix the bill. Excessively expensive for what it is. A EVITAR! Muy mala experiencia. No está bien señalizado y en la coestera, de por sí es un reto ubicar los lugares. El acceso es muy complicado. La gente que trabaja ahí no te saben dar información. Cuando llegué me dijeron que debía pagar $16dlls por estacionar el coche y que debía yo hacer un consumo mínimo de $65dlls por persona, pero que no me podían asegurar que hubiera disponibilidad de mesa. En ese caso tendría que retirarme pero debía pagar los 16dlls del estacionamiento. Ya adentro del lugar fue peor. El lugar está lindo, pero no vale la pena. Yo esperaba mucho más!!
