We ate here twice on our trip!

A gorgeous vegetarian restaurant nestled ij a forest with a dreamlike atmosphere with dim lights and vines. The food was really good and very fresh. They have a great variety of options for burgers to tacos to pizzas. The juices were refreshing as well. It is also quiet and private compared to many other places. Definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in Tulum.

Hotel restaurant of the Holistika, a bit hidden in forest. Great food and service. Prices are on the expensive touristy side but it was good quality. There are a lot of vegan options which we had, although we are not vegan. We have ordered "Adobo mushroom and soy sope" (some sort of big corn tortilla with mushrooms) and Açai bowl plus some coffee and juices. Everything was delicious. We paid approx 300$ pesos per person. We may come back as we had a great experience :)

Lieu magique Très bonne atmosphère Les plats sont délicieux, un coup de cœur pour la pizza à l’avocat. Très large choix de plats végétariens. J’y suis allée plusieurs fois et je n’ai jamais été déçue. Je vous recommande vivement !

Great vegan and gluten free options, delicious food, amazing scenery, parking, walking paths AKA the art path, a nice pool with hanging hammocks for a small fee (sometimes lol), and even a tree house. 10/10 hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Maybe one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants I've ever been too. Everything was really outstanding, but the watermelon "tuna" tostadas my favorite so far. Pleasant vibe too, a quiet terrace right in the middle of the jungle. Only downside is there are some rough roads to get there, and the prices are a bit on the steep side. Well worth it though.

Súper restaurante para personas que cuiden su alimentación y además quieran comer rico, porque está todo súper bueno con productos de calidad. He leído muy malas reseñas sobre el trato de los argentinos pero en mi caso creo que no nos tocó, de hecho estuvo muy rápido y con muy buen trato. Aunque deberían de hacer algo al respecto porque no es normal demasiados comentarios sobre lo mismo. El lugar es espectacular, lleno de naturaleza por lo mismo recomiendo llevar un spray para mosquitos porque hay muchos. La comida excelente a muy buen precio, es el mejor lugar para comer vegano/vegetariano, aunque la ubicación está lejos de lo céntrico. El guacamole es sin exagerar de los mejores que he probado en la vida, sus sabores son muy exóticos algo parecido a Tailandia, con esa variedad de colores y sabores. No dudes en venir aquí si vienes a Tulum

This is one of our favorite vegan place in Tulum, and we’ve probably visited them all by now. It’s our favorite not only because of the food, but also because of the atmosphere, the décor, the location surrounded by plants, the calm music, and the friendly staff. We’ve tried almost every option on the menu, but we especially love the avocado pizza! The place is magical, and after eating it’s worth getting lost on one of the paths to end up, for example, at the Art Walk. You can also sometimes meet friendly cats wandering around. The only downside is the road and the access, especially when it rains. But even so – it’s worth it! We also love the little shop right next to the restaurant, where you can find vegan treats like ice cream, sweets, snacks, delicious spreads and hummus, as well as beautiful ceramics made on-site. We highly recommend this magical place!

This place is magnificent. I ate here for several days during my stay at Holistika. The food is amazing and the service is great. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only thing is meal times are different than what I'm used to in the usa. For example, lunch does not start until 130pm. Dinner starts at 7pm. Overall, if I lived here I would def return.

Hands down my favorite place to eat in Playa! The food is delicious and well made. The servings are abundant. Everything can be made to your liking, whether it's due to allergies or preferences. The drinks are also divine. The owner is often present and socializes with patrons. He is kind, checks in with guests and makes you feel welcome. He seems to remember everyone who returns too, which makes you want to keep coming back! The ambience is lovely! Shades outdoor seating, with tons of plants. Inaode there are two large tables, one of which is community style floor seating. The music is meditative. I highly recommend Tierra Verde. Even if you are not vegan, you will love it.

I cannot say enough good things about Tierra! They have some of the best vegan and vegetarian options in Tulum. I have been here 5 times now for breakfast, and every dish I have eaten has been great. I can’t stop thinking about the açaí bowl that I ate here. It was so good! Their lattes and juices are also fantastic. They work hard to seat you and bring you your food quickly. The atmosphere is lush with plant life. I also love the positive affirmations and motivating quotes all around. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a meal and leave with positive vibes. I wish I lived nearby so I could come every day!

I ate here twice during my stay in Tulúm. It's part of Holistika hotel - down a crazy dark bumpy very wet/puddley track (a little intimidating after dark). It's an oasis of green and calm, with lovely freshly prepared food. I had the pokē bowl (delicious), strawberry/lavender smoothie (insanely good), the banana/bitter choc dessert (insanely good) and a refreshing grapefruit jugo (juice). The first time I arrived late [9.40pm - they close at 10pm] and the servers were very generous to still serve me. Thank you! I had the beetroot salad with vegan cheese - it was huge and so filling. I took half of it home. The hotel offers yoga classes and different ceremonies.

Very much recommended! Very nice location, the restaurant is surrounded by the forest, nicely decorated and peaceful. Although I was not inspired by the menu, the 2 main dishes we took were actually really good. Try the avocado pizza! The dough is very well made (they have a pizza oven) and the taste is incredible. The main dishes are very big, so I would recommend a starter. Try also one of their home made juices or smoothies. Very friendly service as well.

This place was amazing. I highly recommend it. It has delicious and unique vegan food offerings. Lots of different "meats" for tacos and pizza toppings. The watermelon tuna they use in a few dishes is delicious and shocking in a good way. And the piece de la resistánce was this delicious coconut cream berry topped cheesecake.

We stayed there for diner after a yoga class. The place is absolutely beautiful ; it looks like you are lost in a forest. It is worth the difficult road to find it as on the border of the city. The restaurant is gorgeous and although we were not expecting anything, the food was just great. We tested the falafel salad which was incredible and a pizza to change from the local Mexican food. It was a very enjoyable evening.

So tasty! Really fun that it’s out in a jungle. Unfortunately it seems to be closed for “events” nearly every day for normal meal times. You might be able to talk them into letting you order something to-go though. I got the vegan tacos and they were phenomenal, about $8.

Went there for breakfast after a recommendation of a friend. Juices were very good, also the bowls we had. Only the fruit platter was disappointing. No fruit tasted the way we expected. Pineapple no flavor. Melon also. Coffee a bit sour. May be detoxing 😉😊 Anyway, nice atmosphere and friendly team.

Un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo las pizzas la verdad excelentes y los precios también, el único pero que le pongo es que no se puede tomar vino, pero eso es algo normal en Holistica.

Me sorprenden la creatividad vegana para hacer platillos, como el atún de sandía. Está rico en general. El precio algo alto para no contener nada de carne. Lo único que mejoraría es que la gente que asiste tuviera más información puesto que pedí el ceviche de camarón, pero es curioso que veganismo no necesariamente es sinónimo de más sano (más ético si) pero al final te comes una imitación de camarón que nadie sabe decirte de qué es, y termina siendo comida procesada igual, que es lo que uno ya quiere evitar.

Me encantan los lugares tranquilos para comer, este es de mis favoritos en Tulum, el servicio se confunde y olvidan algunos detalles como servilletas, cucharas pero si las pides te dan todo sin problemas. La comida es deliciosa y fresca.

Si eres un comedor de carne, no te pares por aquí, hay pura cosa vegana, natural, espiritual jaja. Si eres yogi, vegano y todas las culturas afines, vas a amar este lugar.

Beautiful outdoor restaurant with good food! Came here twice in a week just to try more dishes on their menu. I got the vegetable sandwich which was alright…but definitely filling! Just didn’t have enough vegetables- the filling was the same as the salad you get on the side. I’ve also got the home made pita bread with roasted vegetables - which was delicious and my favourite! Very filling and definitely serves two. No pictures of these: I’ve also tried the avocado toast which we received because the waiter got our order wrong, but we kept it and it was very good 👍🏼 I’ve also tried the tofu scramble which was alittle more disappointing unfortunately. We received the dish on the burnt end of cooked. So definitely wasn’t a fan. We did let the staff know and they made a new dish for us, but it still isn’t my favourite dish. That’s just a personal choice. I’d still return to try other foods and I do adore the vibe there! Very calm, relaxing, jungle-like

La comida es muy condimentada, el atún de sandía tenía un sabor muy fuerte a otra cosa para simular el atún y el espagueti de calabaza aunque abundante también estaba muy muy condimentado y se irrita el estómago. El servicio no me gustó, porque aunque son varios meseros , andan entre ellos platicando y si le pides ayuda a alguien que no es de tu mesa te ignoran o se molestan... Por otro lado, cuando pedí para llevar las calabazas que no me terminé, me dijo la mesera que me daba el contenedor y que yo lo vaciara , así fue dejó el contenedor y en la mesa nosotros pusimos nuestra comida dentro. Lo que salva al lugar es que está en un lugar hermoso en la selva y que su diseño es hermoso, pero la administración del restaurante muy precaria.

El lugar es muy lindo, la clase de Yoga con la maestra Itzel es maravillosa. El restaurante es muy rico . El servicio en gral es pésimo!. Hubo un Host que se portó como un verdadero patán. Nunca habían sido tan groseros en ninguna parte del mundo a dónde he viajado. Me quedé sorprendido. Afortunadamente cambió su actitud. Pero no volvería al restaurante por ese tipo de trato.

El lugar es precioso, pero en estos momentos dónde la gentrificación es un problema sumamente serio en México, en Latinoamérica y en el mundo, que un restaurante no tenga un menú en español se me hace totalmente irresponsable y forma parte de la reproducción sistematizada del clasismo y racismo que no permite incluir al local y que vela únicamente por el blanco.

I had always liked the vibe and people in Tierra until this morning this Angry Server Marcelo. We asked nicely about ordering our food two times because we have a class in 30 minutes. We did not rush him or try to be rude, but just when he walked around we asked if we could order. Then he came with strong altitude, took the order, and , ‘Forgot’ to put in our order, even after rush, we didn’t get food for 40 minutes and he avoided us at all times, all other people on the table got theirs and we missed our class. Until another server told us we don’t have any order. This guy still just walks around to avoid contact with us.

I wanted to add 15 tip on my 105 pesos order. Instead was charged 150 pesos. The girl might have „misheard” fifteen to fifty. But when I pointed out that 40% tip wouldn’t make sense, I was given „Oh, sorry” and then she just left. I stayed for a bit longer thinking maybe they’ll offer an espresso shot or any other form of apology, but neither had happened. That’s a shame I won’t be coming back, cause the place itself is beautiful.

Una hora esperando un pedido que 5 veces le pregunte al mesero y ni el jugo me llevaron, los otros meseros le servian a las mesas que llegaban después que yo y nunca me llego el pedido me tuve que ir por que no me daba respuesta la mesera

Experiencia desastrosa. Pedí un huevo pochado y lo trajeron crudo, incomible. Cuando pedí que lo cambiaran, pusieron resistencia y, para empeorar todo, la tostada quedó arruinada con el huevo crudo. Afirmaron que la habían cambiado, pero era evidente que no lo hicieron. La segunda vez fue aún peor: en lugar de un huevo pochado, trajeron un huevo frito, otra vez con la tostada empapada del huevo crudo anterior. Un nivel de desprolijidad y falta de criterio difícil de creer. Al hablar con la gerente, intentaron “resolver” la situación diciendo que no cobrarían la tostada. Pero lo más grave vino después: salió el chef con una actitud prepotente y agresiva, cual narco o mafioso, a increpándonos por “no querer pagar”, algo que jamás dijimos. Una falta de respeto total, con un tono intimidante completamente fuera de lugar. Errores en cocina pueden pasar, pero mentirle al cliente, no hacerse cargo y encima tratarlo mal es inaceptable. La combinación de mala calidad, deshonestidad y pésima atención hace que este lugar sea totalmente recomendable… para no volver nunca más. Éramos clientes frecuentes. Ya no.

Pésimo servicio y nada amables , le doy una 🌟 solo por la presentación, tienes tantos turistas extranjeros que ya les da igual quien llegue , nadie te atiende a la entrada , los meseros solo te quieren hablar en inglés y te toman súper mal la orden 😂, la mayoría americanos y argentinos , me tardaron 40min para un café y un jugo de naranja , los chilaquiles me los enviaron sin huevos y tardaron otros 10 min en llevarme cubiertos, ambiente para convivir en la naturaleza pero recomendaría mejor algún otro restaurante o lugar local , más rico , barato y mejor trato

El lugar en sí es una maravilla, ¡de esos que te dejan con la boca abierta! El hotel donde se encuentra es precioso, con una galería de arte al aire libre que vale la pena visitar. Además, tienen un juice bar de ensueño y una heladería vegana vecina que es una delicia total. Sin embargo, si hablamos del restaurante en sí, la experiencia fue bastante decepcionante, especialmente para nosotros como vegetariano estricto y vegana. Después de haber disfrutado de opciones veganas increíbles en muchos otros lugares de la Riviera Maya, este fue el único donde la comida parecía una imitación sin gracia de platos con carne. Para ser sincero, la hamburguesa fue un fiasco: la croqueta es sacada directamente del supermercado. Los nuggets del menu infantil y otros platillos tenían una pinta de poca elaboración, como el chef estuviese pintado en la pared. Y lo peor es que los precios no se corresponden en absoluto con la calidad de lo que ofrecen. Por si fuera poco, cuando intentamos compartir nuestra opinión con el encargado, su reacción fue bastante desagradable y poco empática. Así que, mi recomendación es clara: visiten el hotel, disfruten del arte, del juice bar y cómprense un helado vegano al lado. Pero en cuanto al restaurante, ¡sinceramente, mejor busquen otra opción!

Nunca me habían tratado tan mal...después de ir por un café la lluvia comenzó y no podía dejar las instalaciones los empleados dejaron mi mesa sucia, cobraron los alimentos y bebidas, 30 minutos después seguía sucia la mesa y no podía irme nunca se acercaron aunque levante la mano, cuando pedí otro vaso de agua se acercaron de mala gana y otros evitaron servirme, 10 minutos después aun con lluvia nos dijeron que ya iban a cerrar nosotros nos levantamos a media platica y al salir llegaron unas señoras a las que les dieron la mesa. Vine aquí porque me comentaron que supuestamente este era un restaurante "saludable", pero cuando pido un cacao sin azúcar la respuesta es: ya viene preparado con azúcar y no nos importa las necesidades nutricionales de los clientes, lo único que nos importa es la logística de la cocina. Pésimo servicio, pésima atención.

La comida riquísima. El servicio un desastre. 18 minutos para un americano. Todo extremadamente lento, nos trajeron la comida, no teníamos cubiertos, ningún mesero se acercaba a la mesa. A la hora de la cuenta nos preguntaron si queríamos dejar servicio y les dijimos que no, intentemos explicar el por que y dar una critica constructiva y buena onda, a lo que el mesero, muy despreocupado responde "yo no las atendí, no fui su mesero". Una lástima porque la verdad la comida está chida.

Fuimos a desayunar por recomendación de algunos amigos, tienen mesas exteriores e interiores, el servicio fue rápido, sin embargo había muchos zancudos pedimos a 3 meseros repelente y nunca llegó, el chocolate tenía mucho grumos y sabía a mucha agua, en general la comida regular, lo peor fue que empezó a llover y la comida se comenzó a mojar , pedimos una mesa interior nos dijeron que no había y no nos podían ubicar adentro, ósea querían que comiéramos bajo la lluvia ? Teníamos que esperar que se desocupada una, terminamos paradas junto a la entrada en una barra con la comida a medio comer , nuestras bebidas en la barra, y pagando por medio comer . No volvemos !

Very disappointing experience. They refused to change the milk in my matcha, even though they clearly had the milk I asked for, simply because the matcha was already prepared in advance. That alone says everything. The staff was extremely unpleasant, unfriendly, and not welcoming at all. No smiles, no effort, no care. We still tried the matcha, and honestly — it was really bad. Everything seems to be pre-made in advance, which is shocking for a place that claims to be healthy. There is nothing fresh, nothing customized, and no respect for the customer. We also ordered the French toast. What we received was simply a warm slice of sandwich bread with a scoop of ice cream on top. It had absolutely nothing to do with French toast. It’s a real shame, because the place itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff and the poor quality of the products completely ruin the experience. Definitely not coming back.

asked for an extra shot of espresso in my cappuccino and they charged me 50 pesos extra as a separate drink. not to mention the coffee was below average for the price of 120 mex. service wasn’t good either. do not recommend.

Ordered the vegan meats pizza and the vegan beyond burger. Extremely disappointing. We only ordered the vegan burger because the waitress said it came with fries AND salad, only to be given a tiny burger and a few fries with NO salad. When we brought this to her attention and asked why she told us there was salad, as she knew we only ordered it FOR the salad during our ordering conversation, she didn’t correct her mistake or feel remorse or offer a salad that she promised - instead tried to charge us for a whole salad order which we obviously declined. The burger was small and lacked taste, the fries were the same - way overpriced for what we got. Likewise, the pizza was super disappointing as it was mainly vegan cheese and no vegan meats, and lacked ANY flavour. This place lacks customer service or excellence, I felt robbed at the end of my money and time. I felt hungrier when leaving than arriving. I would never return here, and I DO NOT recommend to come here for food.
