Very tasty!
Well, yes, I returned after a few years, and I confirm my opinion. The place isn't huge, but it's cute and well-decorated. The service is efficient and attentive, giving the restaurant that extra something. Whether you choose meat or fish, you're always satisfied, and the beautifully plated dishes delight the eye before the palate. It's definitely worth returning several times to sample the various dishes. Recommended.

By far the best restaurant in Urgnano and the surrounding area, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is incredibly varied. The appetizers are exceptional, and the pizza is truly delicious. The meat is excellent and plentiful, and the desserts are fantastic. The staff is very professional, and the owner is very kind and dynamic. If I lived nearby, I would eat at Vicolo Antico every day. P.S. Congratulations on the excellent stuffed pasta we ate at the restaurant, made directly in the pasta factory across the street.
I recently had the opportunity to have lunch at "Vicolo Antico" and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. Located in the heart of Urgnano's historic center, the restaurant stands out immediately for its warm and welcoming atmosphere: just the right lighting and a dining room that conveys the feel of a true Italian osteria. I tasted traditional Italian classics, and each dish was prepared with care and genuine ingredients. The flavors are authentic, the portions are perfect, and the presentation is impeccable. The staff was quick, courteous, and very attentive... Average for the area, good value considering the ambiance and quality of the dishes. A small note: parking is a bit far (two steps from the nearest parking lot), but that's part of the charm of this place in the historic center. Perfect for both a quick lunch break and a romantic dinner. The magical atmosphere and authentic cuisine will ensure you won't be disappointed!!!! Congratulations to all the staff!!!!
Good quality food and atmosphere. There was a bit lack of personal which caused longer wait.
I'm a regular at the pizzeria. I'm quite happy with it and I'm happy to return. Today, however, after a tough day, I really needed a pizza with fried eggplant, so I purposely chose the Sicilian one... only to later discover, at home, with considerable annoyance, that the eggplant hadn't been fried... which on a "Sicilian" pizza isn't exactly a negligible detail. That said, I'll try again; maybe I'll have better luck.
A small village restaurant serving traditional and non-traditional dishes. The quality of the dishes varies; the meat, cured meats, and paccheri are truly excellent and tender. The casoncelli are too greasy and covered in pancetta, and the name should be changed to "fried bread bites," which aren't actually fried gnocco. The quality/price ratio is average, but the wait times definitely need to be reconsidered.
Very kind staff, the only positive aspect of the lunch. The food was very, very poor in terms of quality. Both the fish and the simple pasta tasted like vegetable puree. Failed, sorry.
Disappointing experience Nice place So-so service Poor food, probably also due to the chef not being able to cook the dishes on the menu. The €30 starter is a piñata, which is worth €10-15 for the food it contains. Spaghetti with cacio pepe and shrimp tartare. The spaghetti arrived boiled in white sauce with a little parmesan, parsley, and two boiled shrimp. The large mixed grill was decent but cooked incorrectly, with nine shrimp so cooked we couldn't even peel them. We skipped dessert, which was better...luckily, with TheFork we saved 50%, but it's still too much for the quality of the food. A word of advice: change the chef! The shrimp tartare isn't two boiled shrimp! The dishes don't match what's written on the menu. If the management stays like this, I don't recommend it.
We made a reservation for two, and when we arrived at the restaurant after a 20km drive, they told us "The kitchen isn't open tonight, we only make pizzas." Thank you for letting us know on the phone, very professional. Transparency is evident. Now they'll say they're sorry, but thanks for your consideration.
Cooking requires love, which is then conveyed through the dishes served to customers. Something we didn't find at this restaurant. Here are some examples: For the appetizer, I'm beyond words! Spaghetti cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare tasted like plain spaghetti with cheese. Spaghetti allo scoglio tasted like pasta with tomato sauce. The portions were also small! In the mixed fried fish dish, the fish didn't seem very fresh, and it didn't match what was written on the menu (it didn't have sea bass). Given the situation, we skipped ordering dessert. I'm sorry, but: N.C.S. WE'RE NOT HERE!!!
New Year's Eve dinner (menu €60 per person) in total there were about twenty people!, the courses were not abundant and of poor quality, mediocre red wine on tap, we ate the same courses (appetizer, fish, meat) with the same cutlery! For dessert they brought us what was left. Even though the staff were kind, at 2 minutes to midnight we asked for the midnight toast and to change the TV channel (which all evening was playing symphonic music that only the manager liked) and put it on a channel for the countdown but nothing! Upon request they brought us the only remaining bottle of Bellavista (mediocre!) to make the fateful toast at the end in addition to the expected €60 another €12 per person for a bottle for 6 as an aperitif and we also paid for the bottle of Bellavista (which was supposed to be included in the price!!) exaggerated price for a trattoria dinner!! NOT RECOMMENDED!
