Small local bar offering interesting, rotating beer selection. Small, but decent liquor selection. No TVs, outdoor seating. I make the pilgrimage here whenever I'm in town. Good people, good bartenders, nice place to unwind.

Hats off to this wonderful small business. The interior is cozy and relaxing. The beer selection is tremendous with so many quality tap options. My only complaint is that I wish it opened years earlier!

Small, cozy bar catering towards craft beer aficionados and casual drinkers alike. A great rotaing selction of draft beers as well as bottles. No TVs here, just a jukebox stacked with quality music and a dart board in the back corner next to Ms. Pacman. Three booths plus bar seating, 20 people is a crowd in this place. Knowledgeable, passionate and friendly bartenders round out the experience.

Went there last night, friendly bartender, great ppl in the bar, I am new to the area, love the atmosphere amazing IPA on tap, and you can’t beat the price! Will definitely be back when I’m back In town!

Bar tender was awsome. Had two flights, bar tender knew exactly what beers she had drafted explained them. Awesome experience. Quaint bar atmosphere. Most go.

While driving across upstate ny I stopped in Utica for the Night. Stopped into this place for a late beer before bed and stayed late chatting with the friendly bartenders. Clearly a locals place I felt totally part of the crew as the bartender told me about the town and introduced me to folks. If I’m ever traveling through the area again I’m making the the Onion my hub. Pop in and get yourself a bulleit rye with a Haus!

The Onion always has a great beer selection and a nice welcoming atmosphere. Great bar to catch up with friends. As of last week they had Heady Topper cans for $8! Definitely recommend grabbing one of those while they've got them.

Great selection of craft beer. The Green Onion has a different sort of atmosphere than you may be used to experiencing. There are no TVs to distract you from the company of the bar. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth a trip.

Great little local bar full of craft beers. Parking is hard at times but the beer is worth it. It's a bar to go and socialize with friends or strangers. There are no tvs but music is always playing. If you are into craft beer, green onion is a great place to be.

We have both been there before it was surprising that they remembered her she had played there a few years ago during a music festival. The owners just seem like really nice caring people. The crowd was mostly young people and it easy to visit with almost anyone in the bar or outside in the roped off smoking area.
