i’ve been going to this pizzaria for all my life, ever since i was a little girl! they’re amazing service and delicious pizza has never changed since :)! the people there are so kind and considerate! they truly do love their work and it shows in the pizza and the atmosphere! their pizza has a nice crisy yet chewy crust and perfectly cooked cheese and yummy sauce!

Benny and Anthony treated me and my sister like family! The pizza was so good and they even gave us a slice on the house! The booths are so comfortable and have become a NY touch from my childhood. I will for sure be coming back asap! Thank you for a wonderful lunch!!

Ancona isn’t serving wood-fired fig-and-burrata nonsense. This is the kind of slice that makes you remember why New York pizza became legendary in the first place. Crisp crust, just the right sauce, cheese that hits the mark. No gimmicks, no fluff, just perfectly executed classics. It’s a corner joint, sure, but the kind that reminds you the corner is where the magic happens. Ancona belongs in the pantheon of neighborhood pizzerias that actually live up to the hype. Blue chip slice. No notes.

Everytime I come here the pizza is fresh and amazing. The owner and works are so kind and generous. Came in today for a few slices and they gave me a free roll and soda on the house! Great people.
