The food was amazing but our server Peter made our experience even better. He was very kind and helpful, repeatedly making sure we were doing okay, and was very skilled at his job. Thank you for excellent service!

I always find decent food here. Some meals are very good and some are just average. They change their menu around and sometimes remove favorites that I wish they would reintroduce like the oriental chicken mandarin salad ( I think I made up my own name for it just then, but it has vanished from their menu). It is a very LOUD atmosphere type place with lots of TV blaring different stations all over the place, a fairly active central bar area and family seating around the edges. The service is usually very good and I have never had a bad waiter/ waitress. The few times an order has been wrong, they have deducted the price from the bill and redone the order, so that was a good outcome. Pretty average prices for the food served. Lots of American type burgers, salads, ribs and steaks a fruity mixed drinks. If you eat there a lot, you get bored of the menu quickly and the new stuff they add on the menu sort of all seems not too inspired....more burgers and salads. A GREAT idea for them would be to NOT list next to every entree is the calorie count...like that their average burger, loaded with fries and three cheeses and onion rings and packed with bacon and mayo has like 4,500 calories! Maybe they should stick to just posting the calories on the DIET items because I bypassed that heart attack on a platter when I saw THAT number!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Applebee’s! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated quickly. The food was delicious, hot, and perfectly prepared. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. A special shoutout to the manager, Tylor, who went above and beyond to check in on our table and ensure we were enjoying our meal. We came down from Rochester, Ny to visit my sister in Vestal, Ny. She wanted to go to Applebees, but I didn’t. I had a very bad experience at Applebees in Lansing, Ny. The manager was very rude and unknowledgeable about gluten free products. When we got to Applebees the manager Jennifer (please forgive me if the name is wrong) was so helpful and knowledgeable about her products. It was a pleasure eating at the facility. Outstanding restaurant the moment we walked in to the moment walking out in tears. The lady asked table for 2 when I replied 2 but a 3rd setting please. At first she looked confused until I said I just lost my step dad. I wish I could give them a 10 star. They brought a 3rd setting and the food is perfect. When the waiter came and said we are so sorry for your loss this is on them I started crying because my step dad and I would fight (jokingly) about paying the bill.

Went with friends after hanging out all day because they wanted the blue shark drink. I don’t drink, but they both said it was incredible! I’ve always liked Applebee’s but don’t go often, yet every time feels just as good (if not better) than the last! Incredible food for a reasonable price in a cozy amber atmospheric room is the perfect way to finish a good day!

Haven’t been to Applebee’s in a while and glad we stopped in. Our bartender, Peter, was absolutely fantastic —accommodating and attentive. Menu at Applebee’s offers a good selection. Peter was able to make substitutions due to food allergies. Great late night dinner!

Found this Applebees as we travelled to Niagara from Conneticut, stopping over in Binghampton Arrived in town very late, but the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and seated us immediately. Our order was taken by a lovely waitress called Heidi and the food was excellent. I had grilled chicken with garlic mash and broccoli, Husband had a burger and the boys had fish and chips/chicken and chips respectively. Everything was cooked to perfection, our very tired type 1 diabetic 9 year old was delighted to finally get food in the USA that compared to home. Highly recommend if you're in the Binghampton area!

It seems that Applebee's was declining a few years ago but since has improved significantly. I am confused by the wait staff however, a wait person, a drink server, an appetizer server, then the main meal is brought out by a slew of people you've never even seen before. Who do I tip? Perhaps reducing staff would cut cost?

I ordered to go 2 days in a row. The first was a 5-star, beautifully cooked, delicious kid's grilled cheese. The side of broccoli and a drink were good as well. My mistake was to spend $8.50 on undercooked cinnamon minis, doused in cinnamon and sugar. Way too sweet and mushy. Frosting was good, but overkill. Highly recommended this place for their to-go associates, as they were personable and friendly.

The food was okay and the service was great. The dishes were brought out really quickly. However we felt the food wasn't as hot as we were expecting. Our toddlers were running around and the waitresses were really nice which made us feel better about handling kids at the restaurant.

The waitress did her best to accommodate my meal request, a salad with grilled chicken on it. They were able to do just that but the chicken was extremely salty. I know they probably put some kind of seasoning on it but it was extremely salty. I also kept receiving appetizer and and drinks from a neighboring table because the system combined my table and theirs. Thankfully at the end they were able to fix the bill issue without me even asking them. I was quite disappointed to see all their salad options or up around the 1,000 calorie per order ratings. Who the heck eats a thousand calorie salad? The waitress was very nice.

I had the Bourbon Street (Cajun) chicken & shrimp, and it was delicious! I just feel like I was forced into this option in order to get a good deal, this being part of the "2 for..." menu. The rest of the menu is a little pricy for the quality and atmosphere. That's why I don't go often. If I did, I would get tired of the few good deal entrees and have to venture into the overpriced section of the menu. If they had more inspired sandwiches, I might feel better about this.

Visited our local Applebee's after some time away. Pleasantly surprised. I had the cheese burger, and my companion had tacos. Both were tasty and to temperature. Service was attentive. Overall nice experience.

Ordered the riblets, the bourbon street shrimp and chicken, the grilled chicken Caesar salad, the baby back ribs and the buffalo chicken appetizer. The riblets were unique, and apparently a classic, no complaints. The chicken in the bourbon street shrimp was surprisingly not dry, but flavors were standard. Baby back ribs were a bit overcooked and dry, but flavor was good. Overall, location was clean and service was great :)

I ordered the Prime Rib Dipper Sandwich with fries.. Meat was a little tough but it had good flavor. Fries were crispy. My wife had the Bacon Cheddar Grilled Chicken sandwich and she liked that. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

Ordered the fiesta chicken. Chicken was amazing. Rice was hard/stale/dry. Replaced it with broccoli that was far to peppered to eat. My wife's ribs came out as if they were just out of the refrigerator. When the plate came back her side was missing. Our server was very nice and did a wonderful job with what the kitchen provided her. Manager took 10.00 off the bill for us. Over all good service. Not impressed with the food.

Stopped in to take advantage of their 50 cent "boneless wings". I haven't been to Applebee's in a very long time. Dined alone and the hostess looked at me like "what...you have no friends?" LOL. Finally she says " I have the perfect place to put you" like again there was something wrong with me. Ordered 12 boneless wings, they charge extra for both the celery and ranch. Also got a side of fries. Waitress was very nice and the food came out VERY quickly. However the fries were cold as were the boneless wings. I was not impressed especially since the "side" of fries cost $4.95. I barely ate any and only ate half the wings. It'll be a LONG time again before I go back to Applebee's. At least serve hot food!

Stopped by today for an early dinner. Overall, experience was ok. We had a party of 6. They crammed us into a small table. Once they brought out the food, someone there asked if they should move 2 tables together? It wasn't very busy, so I'm not sure why they didn't start out that way. The food was pretty good, but a little pricey for what you get. The place is in need of a refresh. I felt like I was going back in time at an old bowling alley. Service was ok. They never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. We had to flag them down. Also, it took forever to pay the bill. If you are not going to be prompt, then get the self checkout machines for the table.

I've eaten here 3 times. Food is so so. 2 Waitresses are rude 2 out of 3 times we went. Food comes out quickly but kind of tastes reheated or microwaved. Late lunch and only at 10-15% capacity. Wait staff was good; however, while the skillet was"sizzling" the food was warm(steak to proper doneness). The music was loud, offensive, irritating, and borderline inappropriate! Disappointed

We had a fun time because we are friends. The food was moderately good, the service was not. We were not served napkins, and had to ask for them. There were three of us, they brought us four napkins after we asked. They did not bring us plates for our $20 appetizer platter, we asked for them, by the time they came half of the platter was gone because we were hungry. We spent $89 on dinner for three people, we drink very moderately priced drinks. we did have a lot of leftovers and when we asked for takeout containers, they did bring them, but they brought us no covers for the sauce dishes. The service was slow, and no one came by to ask us if we needed anything, we had to catch the waitress to get what we needed. We were not impressed, and we will not return.

The wife and I stopped in to relax and have a couple of cocktails, and some appetizers on Sunday after three days of cooking and serving tens of thousands of people all weekend at the Air Show. They had only two flavors of White Claw beverages, only one of which my wife cared for. I ordered a pint of Yuengling. I was then asked "a tall one?" Now I understand the upsell , but I didn't order a "tall one". We ordered the Wonton Chicken Taco's which were very good, the Spinach Artichoke dip that came out not hot at all, and chips that were extremely flat & stale. Perhaps they shouldn't be left out in the kitchen all day. And the Pretzel appetizer. When my wife asked for another White Claw, the waitress said "sorry, that was the only one we had of that flavor." You don't send food out of the kitchen if it isn't hot, and you don't send out flat, stale chips. And how do you run out of something at the bar? Not very well managed in my opinion.

This place use to not be bad. However the quality of food has gone down. The service isn't bad but you can tell the cooks don't care either way. The managers are nice unlike most places when your food comes out cold here they are quick to respond to the situation which is nice.

I have gone here too frequently but will be finding a new regular dinner spot. The 3 cheese chicken was tough to find ANY cheese on. AND the last trip with the broccoli alfredo pasta, it was dry and I asked for extra alfredo and they said they would take my dish back and make me a new one, which I did not want them doing so I ate a dry broccoli pasta dish. Getting more and more disappointed and looking for a new favorite dinner spot. Bye applebees.

I was very disappointed in the quality of food at the Applebees on the Vestal Parkway. I asked for a raspberry lemonade with no ice, and a trio of appetizers. This included BBQ boneless wings, chicken quesadillas with NO PICO (hot things make me sick), and wonton tacos. What I got was a strawberry lemonade loaded with ice, chicken quesadillas WITH PICO, and boneless wings that were soaked in so much BBQ sauce that I couldn’t taste the chicken and the coating was soggy. The waiter was very apologetic and corrected the mistakes. However, by the time everything was fixed, my group of people had finished eating and were ready to go. We won’t be going there again!

Usually always go here and never have problem but tonight changed that went here for my daughter's birthday dinner tonight and we were sat quickly which was awesome I ordered a 8oz sirloin asked for it medium my wife ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo and my children ordered cheese burgers my wifes food was so salty it was gross my kids both complained that the pickles tasted sour and my steak was so raw I didn't even finish it should of sent it back but I've seen to many videos of food being tampered with to even trust it now 4 hours later my stomach is in so much pain and I'm so nauseous I can't even think straight think it'll be awhile before I'm willing to return

I went here with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. I was there for 30 minutes and no waiter or waitresses even acknowledged us. No drinks, no menus. So I just left and went somewhere else. This is outrageous! Why send someone to a table if you’re not able to serve them? Waiters and waitresses just kept walking by us. It’s very disappointing! I love their food, but I don’t think I will go there again. It was disrespectful to say the least.

Our waitress tonight was very racist. She ignored me and my girls,our food was over 30 minutes, and I had to inquire about the ETA of our food being served. The waitress also forgot our drinks and utensils that are needed to eat food .when I told her she forgot to supply us with utensils, she went and got the store manager? The absolute icing on the cake was that I still paid my bill and requested a receipt, and she crumbled it. I ask that if you do decide to eat at this place, know that they don't like serving people of color . 😒 sad and disgraceful that we are still dealing with issues like this

I was in yesterday for lunch. Table was sticky and felt like it hadnt been cleaned .Waitress never recommended the holiday drinks. My drink wasn't free because of it. I ordered the burger, asked for medium rare, no pickles and mayo and mustard on side. It came out with pickles, no mayo or mustard, ice cold fries and well done. The waitress was in ear shot when I asked where the mayo and mustard and I got snippy response of I know ill get it! I got 2 pkgs mayo tossed on table with mustard and greeted with 'here'. Half way through my meal she came through and said 'do you need a box for your burger'? She quickly brought 1 for my burger and 1 for my appetizer. Said here's your check and plopped the pymt machine on table. I was actively still eating my meal! Never offered drink refills, never asked how my meal was or offered option of desert! I won't say her name on here but I gave no tip and I likely will not return .

Went with my husband around lunch time. Got a table right away. The restaurant was dead. Took our drink orders and food order. We ordered 2 waters and a bacardi bucket. Waters came right to the table. 25 minutes later, she came back and saw we still didn't get our bucket. "We don't have a bartender really so do you still want it or not?" I looked at my husband and said "yes". Our food came out about 40 minutes after we ordered. Our bucket came shortly after that. Waitress was chatting with other waitresses, but never checked on us. It was honestly not a great experience at all. Won't go back to this location again.

To the YT woman who served us tonight — you were completely out of line. Throwing napkins at me and my wife, while only acknowledging and speaking to our white friend? That says a lot about you. We saw how friendly you were to everyone else, yet somehow had nothing but attitude for us. We ordered drinks, but left them sitting there — no way was I risking food from someone with that kind of energy. The disrespect was loud, the bias was louder. I truly hope your night (and week) reflects the service you gave. Do better. Or at least try to act like you belong in customer service.

Honestly I never go back to somewhere after ordering takeout to return and get a redo for my meal, but last night I had to. I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. At first the flavor was great but the further I got into my food it got worse. Come to find out the chicken was far from fully cooked. The second time around it was even worse! If it was a burger or steak sure some pink is acceptable. This is chicken tho and you can’t serve that undercooked. I’ve been cooking for almost 15 years and fully grilling chicken is one of the base things you should know how to do as a cook. I really didn’t want to go on here and write this review but I don’t want anyone else ordering this to end up with the experience I had. Yes they comped me for a remake of my meal but that doesn’t mean anything when it comes back worse off the second time around.

let me tell you....this what horrible from the wait time for the food, than the food itself, than the service. I had a burger was told as pink as you can cook. When it finally came it had no pink and no garlic aoli on it. I than asked for some mayo. I received one packet. When I bit into the burger grease came pouring 0ut. When I told her when she finally came around, she asked if I wanted something else. I said no the grease was already to much. My friend ordered the all you can eat wings. which were hard and woody. Not to mention it took forever to get more. When we finally got the check I asked for a paper receipt that I had to go find after 10 minutes and was told oh it's right here as she was making drinks at the bar. Diaster .....smh

Went there tonight. We haven't been there in years, because it always sucked. WELL, tonight it did not change. It sucked. The waitress was talking a mile a minute like a jet. We ordered drinks that took forever. Mine was alcoholic and it tasted like it was flavored water and no alcohol. She took our order and didn't write anything down. Mine was supposed to be riblets, a full order, with a spicy glaze. What I got was ribs. I sent them back. Hers was just boneless wings with honey BBQ glaze. She got reg BBQ glaze. When my rib let's came, they were like rubber and had honey BBQ glaze, not spicy. I was going to call for the manager, but she did not want me to make a scene. I paid the bill, but will NOT go there again. This is why we have not been there in years. I was told, No, they have changed. NOT!!! Still the same. Will always be the same and nothing will change. Except we won't be going there.

Food tastes fine but really with these boneless wings. I like applebees thats why we ordered it but cmon. I see why yer selling them for a buck right now. Sadly they're not worth the container they came in. One reg app order and one 1.00 add on neither worth it. Os what it is. Ordered delivery so we get the short end of the stick. Wish I could give a zero, I really had the most unpleasant experience just asking for a moderately quiet seat. I came in alone, and it was so sad where the host placed me. He put me at a booth whereas next to me was a very sad situation. The next booth over had a man screaming with a disability. I felt so bad, said a prayer for him in my mind and asked host if I could please Move! The Host explained at 4pm ALL SERVERS are not in place for the empty tables throughout the restaurant. Upon My request, Host placed me at another booth and then added a very loud screaming child to booth just in front of me. The feeling I had was Very poor of the host as he never listened to my First request. He just informed me 2 minutes ago, table where he placed the screaming child & parents was ‘Not’ Open! I was ahead of this family, and this restaurant has good food. I wanted to enjoy the food in a big place whereas I was told, Almost ALL empty booths can not accommodate me that I pointed out. I was told, THE SERVERS change in half hour and I can not sit at the empty booths I pointed out until 45 minutes later. Oh yes, I am always well dressed and well groomed for professional reasons. Just fyi. Well, I asked my female server if I could be moved. She NEVER asked me what the reason was….here is what she stated: ‘We can’t be moving you around like this’! I was shocked… waitress NEVER asked what MY Personal reason was! To go on, I replied, Well I am going to leave then. Not in a rude tone, but regular voice and in a smooth soft, but audible way. She never said a word! Shocked she did Not ask why I was uncomfortable with the seating arrangement. The host was First in missing my entire point and my quiet seating request. Place is large and there were places for me to go. I have Never been treated like this before and I was very hungry as it was supper time soon —4pm, and I had not eaten lunch. I went elsewhere and enjoyed pasta in Endicott. I got a very bad impression from Applebees and always liked Vestal Applebees better than Front Street in the Town of Dickinson. I would give this visit a Zero rating if I could. My past visits have always been fantastic with waitress and host. . I am glad to write about this, as I really felt neglected in this visit at Applebees in Vestal,NY. Not sure if I ever want to return and will miss the one dish I favored. Event was 2weeks ago. It’s now October 23rd.

Ordered to go from Applebees in Vestal NY Ordered the 4cheese with honey pepper chicken. There were big chunks of Fat mixed in with my sauce and chicken was not cooked through it was so disgusting that I will never ever order that entree again, it ruined it for life. I called and spoked to the Manager Janine and she only offered to replace my meal(not even a refund) if I could bring it back so that she could see it, unbelievable first I explained that it was 11pm that I wasn’t going to leave the hotel to pick up another disgusting meal and my appetite was ruined! She, the Manager was very very rude and unprofessional I will never order from Applebees again especially the one in Vestal, NY terrible terrible customer service she responded to me as if I was telling a lie.
