Sat at the bar and was given top notch service. I typically get Fiesta Lime Chicken but I ask for a recommendation from the barmaid AJ. Her recommendation was perfect! For starters I had a Margherita, it was delicious. Had a wonderfully fresh dinner salad and took AJ's advice and ordered the three cheese chicken penne pasta, it was excellent. AJ handled the bar with ease. This location was was clean and ready for business.

Our server Gaige was so friendly and wonderful- he made our dinner a fun time! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer(yum🤗), a bacon cheeseburger with fries, a quesadilla burger with mashed potatoes, and the chicken quesadilla roll-up sandwich. My quesadilla burger was cooked perfectly and had delicious layers of flavor- perfect bite everytime! I will be back🍷😊

Like any other Applebee's except the employees here are very good. The bar tender was personable and friendly. The food was good and came out pretty quick. I had chicken and broccoli fettuccine, which was very good. The tall beer is a Sam Adams Summer Ale which is also good. My check was about $20. That's not bad. All in all the atmosphere is good, employees are good, it's clean, food is good and prices aren't bad. I can safely say I recommend this restaurant.

We had Angela as our server while we visited. She was very animated and always smiling! It was quiet before the lunch rush, so it was calm. We had ordered the combo appetizer, 2 sandwiches, and 2 lemonade. The spinach artichoke dip was interesting. The cheese was a blob, with a big piece of a very hard artichoke. The meal was still good, even with that oops of a dip. Definitely planning to go back on another girl's day!

After years of being tied up and having no time to go out I finally Took my Fiance on a date here and it was one of the most comfortable and family friendly places to go and really have good food and conversation without the worry of disturbing other guests. everyone was having a great time and Mike is one of the best waiters on arsenal! This was the best experience I have ever had. I ordered to go. Heaven took my order. She spoke clearly, and she was very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu and I loved all of her suggestions. When I came to pick up my food she had great customer service and had my bag equipped with napkins and plastic silverware, and all the condiments I needed after arriving home. My food was still warm and delicious. I will be returning.!

If you don't mind wearing your winter coat while you eat, it's okay. Otherwise it's freezing in colder weather. The lighting is adequate for reading the menu and the tables are not too close to each other.

A "Valentine's Day" lunch date, a day early, on Friday the 13th, found my bride and I in Watertown, and we decided to try Applebee's on Arsenal Street for lunch. Their 2-for-$25 specials sounded good, so we started things off with a platter of oh-so-good onion rings as our appetizer while we waited for our O-M-CHEESE BURGER ("It doesn't get any cheesier than this") entrees. Our server, Sonja (a longtime faithful employee) was on her "A-game," and had our burgers to us before we could polish off all of those crispy onion rings. The burgers were indeed cheesy, delicious, and came pre-cut in halves. The fries were hot but could have been crispier. I was pleased to learn Applebee's still carries PEPSI products so, "Pepsi, please!" We ended up taking half of the onion rings, and half of our burgers home for a nice "leftovers" meal. All-in-all, our only complaint was that the fries weren't as crispy as we like them, so we rate our lunch date at Applebee's a solid "4" out of 5. Crisp up those fries and score a perfect "5" next time!

Updated review from Saturday November 22nd: The manager Eugene reached out to me and seemed to really care about fixing the problem. He asked me for further details that I provided to him and he asked if we would give them a second chance and offered my husband and I a meal voucher for our next visit which ended up being today. We ordered pickup. He got the bourbon burger and I got the bourbon chicken and shrimp and we paid $0 for our meal. We got home and were hesitant on eating it but we were very satisfied. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we will be back again to this place. I would like to thank Eugene for caring about us and also the other manager I believe whose name was Megan that I spoke to today who apologized for our first experience. Previous review from Sunday November 16: Spent $65 for some of the worst service and food I’ve ever experienced. It took 20 mins just to be greeted and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered the tex mex shrimp bowl which was simple to make but they somehow still managed to make it taste disgusting. The tortilla strips tasted like they expired in 1990 and the rice was extremely undercooked. We had to wait another 10 mins just to get the managers attention so my husband could get a fork to eat his own meal. They gave us two napkins and I had to go to the bathroom to the paper towel dispenser to get another “napkin.” We also had 4 different servers which I didn’t even know was possible and when the bill came they charged us an extra .50 cents for some pepper jack cheese that my husband never even asked for. Do yourself a favor and don’t even set foot in this place. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because my husband enjoyed his quesadilla burger.

I had a decent experience at this Applebee's. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it wasn’t too bad. The real standout was our waitress, who was doing her best to handle the rush of customers on her own. She was very nice and attentive, making sure everyone was taken care of despite being the only one running around. We tried the Shirley Temple with Pop Rocks, which was a fun and tasty twist! The food was solid, but nothing particularly special—it was good, just as you’d expect from a casual dining spot. One thing I appreciated was the variety of options on the menu, which gave us plenty to choose from. Overall, it was a decent meal with good service. Wouldn’t mind coming back for another visit!

So I paid $10 for chicken tortilla soup and had it delivered through Uber eats. How would they still charge $10 for this??!! I KNOW their soup bowls are bigger than this! Lesson learned. I explained why to him, while doing so another employee was cleaning a table behind us and literly sprayed cleaning solution on my face. The managers solution, was to give us a $10 credit towards our next time - I refused. We got in and got told that the wait will be 10 min, we got seated shortly after that. We were giving menus and inform that our waiter would be with us shortly, literally sat there for about 20 minutes with out being acknowledged by anyone, shortly before we decided to leave, a new guest got seat right behind us and immediately the waitress approached his table after he was seated to take his order, and after that we got up and leave, the reason we even waited so long it was just because we imagined they were busy but after that we got up and leave

Upon arrival, the restaurant was not busy. We were seated in a booth and began reviewing the menu to decide on our order. I observed at least five staff members working the floor. Every single one made eye contact with us and had to walk around our toddler — yet not one acknowledged our presence. No one greeted us, offered water, or took a drink order. The only thing on our table was the menu. One server approached the table next to us just as the guests were leaving, asked if they needed anything, made eye contact with us, and then walked away without saying a word. The other servers did the same — walked past us, looked directly at us, and continued on without acknowledging we were there. Even a simple, “We’ll be with you shortly” or “Let me grab your server” would have made a difference. But we received absolutely no communication. After waiting without any service and with a hungry toddler growing restless, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the manager noticed us and kindly stopped to speak with us. She was the only one who displayed any sense of hospitality — and I genuinely appreciate that. However, it’s clear the team needs coaching in basic customer service and situational awareness. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, nor will I recommend this restaurant to my soldiers or anyone in my formation — especially those with families. Communication is not difficult. A simple acknowledgment goes a long way. And to be clear: we didn’t cause a scene. We quietly and respectfully walked out.

Disappointed with my visit to Applebee’s. My order was missing the chicken wonton tacos, the $14 salad portion was very small and didn’t even fill the entire container, and the cookie dough dessert came without all the toppings. On top of that, our waitress was rude, which made the experience worse. For the price, I expected much better a this was an online pick up order.

We only came back because the general manager apologized and gave us a voucher. Anyways we come and my wife's food was perfect. An mines was okay just not pink like I wanted. So they remade it. Back story. My wife gave this restaurant 1 star because on veterans day we came here. I got a steak and it was a skinny 2 Oz looking steak. Had it redone and it was better but my wife was not pleased. So she left a review. Tell me why the manager came to my wife with the printed review and made her feel like what she was in the wrong for the review.. Apparently my wife and her used to work together.. So she used that to make her feel like trash instead.. We came back to have a good experience and it turned sour because the manager wasn't ever to separate a past work relationship from a professional one... My wife was so hurt that she regretted coming here.. I was so uncomfortable I couldn't finish my food.. Would never return while this manager is here.. What a shame. Can you imagine leaving a 1 star review and having the manager guilt trip you? No thanks.

I know that nothing is going to be done about this, but I can at least help other people and save their time from coming here. I have been there three times recently, and each time I went, the service was worse, and the food was awful. The first time I went, we were greeted and sat right away in a booth. At first, I did not notice, but after I moved my feet, my shoes literally stuck to the floor. Someone had spilt soda or some kind of sticky drink there. I had a long dress on, so not only did my shoes get nasty but so did my dress. I requested to move to a different booth, so we were moved. The server had no remorse, just "oh I am sorry" and quickly moved us and didn't seem to care about my shoes or dress or the inconvenience. I felt bad for the next people that came in after us, they were sat at that booth with the sticky floor before it was cleaned...and that is not the only bad part about this visit. I ordered some steak with potatoes and a vegetable. They have not had broccoli in a long time which is also a bummer because that is my personal favorite. When I order steak, I usually order it medium well because I do not like a lot of red in my steak. When the meal came out the first time, there was so much blood pouring out of my steak and I had not even cut it yet. When I cut it, all of that blood poured right into my potatoes and ruined my potatoes. I sent it all back and asked for it to be cooked again. When I got it back, it was better than the first time, but still not what I wanted. When you pay a good chunk of change to eat out nowadays, you should expect some kind of good quality, but not here. The second visit, we were again sat in a booth. The music was blasting SO loud we could not even hear ourselves talking across the booth. I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. When it came out all sizzling, I was excited to try it, thinking that this visit might actually be good. Everything was wayyyy overcooked. Black even. I wish I had taken pictures. I sent this order back and they made it again, shrimp and all, and it was actually correct. Again though, I should not have to send it back to get my order right. It should come out right the first time. My third and final visit (I won't ever be back here), was to celebrate my husband for Veteran's Day. He wanted to come in to get his free meal. We came around 9:40 pm and were sat right away. He ordered a 6 oz steak with potatoes and corn. I did not order anything because I did not want to pay based on the previous experiences listed above. We waited for half an hour (10:10 p.m.) to get his ONE plate of food. The restaurant was not even busy, maybe 3 other tables sat and like 3 people seated at the bar. When he ordered his steak, he ordered medium rare. He received a medium steak, but this steak was probably like 4 oz. It was the thinnest slice of steak I have ever seen! We sent it back. We told the waitress that we did not want to wait another 30 minutes for it to be remade. She told us that it was on high priority because it was being sent to be made again. We agreed to wait since we did not think that it would take as long. We were wrong...we waited 15 minutes (now 10:30pm) for them to make a 6 oz MEDIUM RARE steak. When we got it back, it was medium rare, but the cut was rubbery and not edible. My husband ate what he could and we waited for the waitress to come back. We were going to send it back again but we had had enough. She did not even ask how the steak was, she asked if we wanted a box and we said no. She went to go get the check. We waited yet another 10 minutes for her to come back with the check. (10:40 pm). We paid for his lemonade and left. All my husband wanted was a nice little steak for his Veteran's Day and a nice evening out and we couldn't even have that. What a shame. We wasted an hour of our time that we could have been spending quality time elsewhere at any other restaurant in town that would have served us much faster and with better quality food. I will never return to this sad place that they want to call a restaurant.

Fountain drinks are already pricey, as is. THEY FILLED MY ENTIRE LARGE CUP OF SPRITE WITH ICE …… It was literally 10 sips and it was gone …. Absolute scam please ask for no ice because this location cannot be trusted. I opened my cup when I got home after I was sipping droplets and was extremely dissatisfied

We ordered the Three Cheese Chicken Penne as part of the 2 for 28 deal along with 2 other meals. It didn’t come out to the table with the other three and when it did, it had no cheese sauce at all. Just dry noodles. We sent it back and didn’t get a new meal until after everyone was done eating so we asked for it to go. When the bill came it showed the 2 for 28, added the three cheese chicken and then comped it. When i asked the waitress she said that’s how system had to work in order to request the remake and that she would have the manager come talk to us. The manager came over and spoke very condescending repeating herself that it was because they remade the meal. I said I would have thought they would ACTUALLY comped the meal since we had to take it to go. She said I was throwing the money at her when I said id just pay and leave. I actually had to tell her “I dont want to argue with you”. She continued to be belittling. Upon returning with our change she was very rude. When we got home the meal was even worse than the one in restaurant. This one still had no sauce and now the chicken is BLACK. See the attached photos. One shows the menu and what it SHOULD look like and the other is what we got. This occurred 7/23/2025 around 1pm. SHAME ON THAT “MANAGER”. DO BETTER APPLEBEES.
