We loved this upscale “bar” eating experience. It looks quite fancy, the prices are LA reasonable. They have pretty pricy steak options but I suggest the steak/fries lower priced option with the Chimichurri sauce. That was fabulous. We ate at the bar with Alec and he was great. The wine options and beer were also very nice. From the friendly hostess to the checkout, it was a very great experience! VictorB
Isabel and Colin were so kind and accommodating to my family! What a great experience on Valentine’s Day. We will be back soon and hope to see them.
Good food, good service. Had Cobb with grilled steak. Was not disappointed. Environment was nice and comfortable.
Paul Martin is a wonderful restaurant high-level high class four fork. Great steaks, great burgers great cocktails great staff! I highly recommend this place. It should be the first place that you try in Westlake.
What a great experience I definitely enjoyed my time the food service as soon as you walked in they made the best dirty martini, bonus, blue cheese, stuffed olives sat down through OpenTable. They had everything under control at the restaurant manager comes up to check on us. What a great experience sat in the window, staring at the fountain great parking.
We went to Paul Martin’s American Grill for a steak dinner on Valentine’s Day. I thought the staff was extremely nice and still gave us a table when there was a mix up with our reservation. They had a special Valentine’s dinner menu. We both got the Cowboy Rib Eye steak with a starter. I thought the lobster bisque was very tasty and actually had some small pieces of lobster in the soup. The spinach & goat cheese salad was also very refreshing. I was impressed by the steak, which was very savory. We also got some butter for the topping of the steak. I definitely recommend that because it made the steak even more delicious. We tried the truffle butter and blue cheese butter. They also have a nice bar area and a variety of drink selections. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend for a date night.
What a wonderful lunch at Paul Martin's in Westlake Village. Our server Sangeeta was simply amazing, so personable, professional and kind. The Ambiance was positive and enjoyable as well. The butternut squash soup was scrumptious. We also started with drinks and then ordered entrees. My wife had the Asian chicken salad and I had the chicken parmesan. The chicken was fantastic. Charles the manager stopped by to ensure our experience was pleasant and fulfilling. What great service and caring follow-up. My wife also ordered the tiramasu which was amazing. Great place, food and people. Highly recommended.
One of the BEST places for happy hour! The staff is attentive and the menu selection is superb. I ordered the SHRIMP TACOS (lightly fried shrimp, cilantro lime slaw, blistered tomatoes, pickled red onion, chili aioli, on two corn tortillas), the MARGHERITA FLATBREAD pizza and the APEROL SPRITZ. All were delicious, especially the tacos. Even though my book club group came for happy hour, we were seated in the private dining room, which was quiet and allowed us to enjoy our time immensely. It's so nice to have a top-notch dining experience where the prices are extremely reasonable. Everyone left full, satisfied and happy.
About two months ago... I met with a friend who works in the Entertainment Industry.. he invited me to stop by for dinner 🍽️🥣 and 🍷 drink's. After freshing up at a friend's condo... I drove..out . ..it's in a Shopping 🛍️🛍️ and Retail plaza.. The Barnes and Nobles, etc in compass the property.. The place was packed... I joined him in a booth.. We were able to catch up... Not aware at the time they would be closing in 45 minutes. I placed an order for 🍟🍟 fries and 🍤 shrimp. Modest cocktail 🍹..mind you I have to drive... ... Do _Not_Drink_ and Drive ".. The order took about 13 minutes to arrive at the table.. I included some pictures... My friend is a rather famous person (Executive).. so he didn't want to be in the pictures. That's how rumors get started.... SMH 😦.. 😂_.😆. The fries were delicious and the shrimp 🍤... I had to order a second order... The 🍹 I ordered was something similar to a Rum and Coke ".. The service was good... As we finished our dinner..they were beginning to..close. They waited on us and we weren't rushed like some places. Over all.. I recommend this place... .. I certainly will be returning... .. Parking 🅿️ was convenient ...
Paul Martin's has a great menu with selections of salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, fish and steaks. For smaller bites, their appetizers are a meal! The beer and wine list is long and accompany all the entrees. There is something here for everyone and the service is spot on. Very friendly staff and attentive. Tonight I enjoyed the Steelhead Salmon en Cassolette. This perfectly cooked salmon comes in a sizzeling hot baking Casserole dish with asparagus, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes and a blurred blanc sauce. A braised short rib with perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes, horseradish cream, and housemade beef jus. The Steahouse Cobb mesquite grilled steak, avocado, egg, tomato, candied bacon slightly drizzled with a blue cheese vinaigrette. And the seafood Tacos with a choice of the salmon or lightly fried shrimp. We also tried their Brussel Sprouts which were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
The service here was amazing, our server recommended the salt & pepper shrimp which was delicious! For an entree I had the “brick” chicken (pictured) and my girlfriend had the harvest salad with salmon, both of the dishes had a fresh feel to the pallet and paired well with the bottle of Sanctuary Cabernet Sauvignon I ordered. Our server Andrew was over the top and provided excellent service!
Came here for happy hour. Pleasantly surprised that they had happy hour on a Sunday. And they do pairings with burgers and sandwiches that come with a drink for a decent price. The menu isn’t huge but they have good items. I got the shrimp tacos and devolved eggs. The tacos were delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the deviled eggs. My mom got the spicy chicken sandwich and a cucumber cocktail. She devoured it! My husband got the burger with cheese and fries and he enjoyed that as well. We were sitting at the community table in the bar and everything was very pleasant.
Service was Great. Riley made sure we were never looking around for her. She was SPOT-ON with her attitude and appericate that we were patronize there Restaurant. The food was Fresh(DEVILED EGGS with extra Bacon) was very very good. The Braised Short Ribs were buttery and melted in my mouth.
We had a reservation for Valentine’s Day and arrived early. We were seated at our reserved time, which was fine. However, the table we were given was practically in the walkway. Despite other available tables, we were refused a switch, and the hostess was not particularly pleasant in her explanation. If it hadn’t been Valentine’s Day and fully booked everywhere, we would have left. Once seated, I noticed the silverware was not properly cleaned — visible spots and residue. That’s unacceptable. I ordered filet mignon with asparagus. Instead, I was served mashed potatoes because they had run out of asparagus. No one informed me. No one asked what I preferred as a substitute. They simply made the decision for me and brought it out. We were also told several other items were running out. Poor planning on a major holiday. The only positives were our waitress — who was very kind and professional — and the food itself. The steak and short rib were delicious. Good food, disappointing service experience.
Food was amazing and the location was beautiful as we got to see the sun set. Thought I’d spend over $200 but was actually affordable. Took my girlfriend for our Valentine’s Day date and it was amazing until we got seated. It started off just fine then they switched our waiters without telling us. I think the one we got was named Nick and he sucked at his job. He would completely walk past our table ignoring us and ignoring our signs that we needed his assistance. I got 0 refills, 0 check ups, no “everything alright over here”. His service was god awful and really upset my girlfriend and I. He really didn’t want that tip so I left him nothing for his horrible service. I’m sure not all waiters are like him but other than that it was pretty good and will be returning and hopefully not getting nick as our waiter again
Went in for happy hour Monday and meals with 4 people . Ask the waitress what Vodka they used for their happy hour well drinks. She said Amsterdam and I said fine and ordered a vodka rocks. A little later I ordered a 2nd one. When the bill came they charged me $14.00 for each drink. I clllalled her over and asked why, she said you ordered Vodka on the rocks and that wasn't a happy hours drink. I said how can a vodka martini be listed as a happy hour drink made with the same vodka plus vermouth be a happy hour dirink for $10.00 and a vodka on the rocks that does not have vermouth be $14.00. She told me she just works there and doesn't set prices and since what I ordered was a drink that was not listed as a happy hour drink I had to pay full price...Go Figure.
Very nice restaurant. My husband loved his pork chop with Brussels sprouts. The wedge salad is a bit on the small side. My seasonal salad was delicious. My petite filet was over done, as was the cauliflower, but in general the restaurant was very nice. They have a great bar. Update: my husband loved his shrimp. I forgot to take a picture of the spinach and artichoke dip, but it was very good. However, they rushed the service and we were only halfway through our appetizers when the entrees showed up, no apologies. My chicken was good but cool and the asparagus that I ordered in very light oil was greasy and also pretty cool.
I went with my 90 year old friend/neighbor for Thanksgiving dinner. We were both disappointed. Some of the food was barely lukewarm and was served in a very rushed atmosphere. We mentioned that we were feeling rushed so then they waited too long to serve us our VERY small piece of pie. We noticed that they forgot the green beans. Won't be eating Thanksgiving there again.
