They have the menu outside. My mom and I were walking by when we saw it, it caught our eye, and we went in without hesitation. The place was clean, quiet, and family-friendly. We were served almost immediately; the waitress and the gentleman were friendly the whole time and offered us the menu. I don't understand the rating it has, and I'm glad I didn't Google it, otherwise we wouldn't have gone in, and I would have missed out on some great food. The truth is, we loved it. The food is excellent 🤤 and the coffee was delicious. Actually, everything there was good: the service, the place, the food, even the price. My mom and I left very happy. We're tourists, but if we ever come back, we'll definitely eat here again 😌 Recommended: 100/10 Another plus is that I could charge my phone while I enjoyed my meal. Thank you so much 🤗
Omg this is my best place that have ever been! I love their berries cake with cheese (pastel de zarzamora con queso Philadelphia) If you have the opportunity to come here don’t loose the opportunity to try this amazing place!
The food was very good, the atmosphere very peaceful, and the restaurant was visually appealing. It's a shame it receives bad reviews solely because the service is slow; however, even though it is slow, compared to other local restaurants, it's not that different. It's clear the delay is due to a lack of staff, not negligence, since the food doesn't arrive cold—everything is freshly prepared. The menu is quite varied, and the food is excellent; the flavor is spectacular, and I highly recommend the chiles en nogada.
Despite its poor rating, we decided to take a chance. At first, the waitress took a while to come out and serve us, so my dad decided to go inside and call her over. She apologized and provided very friendly service. The food is good, we listened to live music from a nearby restaurant, and it's a really good place. I would definitely go back. It's super cheap.
Despite the bad reviews I read afterward, I ended up at this place because of how nice it looked. We did enjoy the food. The pine nut cake was delicious. The staff's service was somewhat slow and distracted, but fortunately the manager was there and he was attentive and kept pushing to ensure good service. I hope they can provide better staff training, because the manager, a gentleman, provided excellent service.
I don't recommend this place at all. Expensive and service was not good. The only thing ok was the chile en nogadas my wife tried.

Poor food service; they don't respect the order of arrival when serving customers, the dishes aren't prepared according to the menu image, and they don't respect the timing of the courses, serving the second course before the first. They are only capable of providing efficient coffee and pastry service! They accept cards and cash.
Here's my experience. The place is very pretty, and it feels great to be there, but the food is very, very slow. I think we waited half an hour for it, but it was delicious. By the time they brought it, my coffee was cold. Their prices are affordable, but there was something lacking. The Tlalpeño broth is exquisite.
The place looks inviting as you walk by, but it's a complete disappointment. We sat for over 30 minutes and no one took our order until I asked them to take it at the register. We ended up sitting at an outside table. They didn't give us tortillas for the arrachera and milanesa. We ordered one order of fries, expecting to eat it with the milanesa and arrachera, but they brought it last and took so long they didn't even bother to drain the oil. They didn't provide napkins. The food was mediocre at best, and the portion size was poor for the price. I wouldn't recommend it, and I certainly won't be going back.
The food was nothing special; it's a cafeteria, so there isn't a huge variety of dishes. The decor is nice, and it's almost empty. The service is very slow; the woman who serves is also the cook, so it's quite slow. What bothered me was that when I paid, I told her to take a $15 tip since my bill was $135. However, when she saw I paid by card, she added the extra amount to my receipt. I didn't say anything because it wasn't much, but it was her action that annoyed me.
Sadly, it was a very BAD experience. We chose the place because it looked very nice, and only this restaurant and another one (right across the street) were open. Although the wait was "shorter," we were served almost an hour later (we noticed the line for the other restaurant moved completely by while we still didn't have any food on the table). The food arrived cold in two out of four courses. The taste wasn't bad, but it didn't make up for the poor service, unfortunately. We noticed that several dishes were no longer available. They have terrible organization. The place was completely packed; there are too many tables for the space, and everything is very cramped. The waiters are very slow in every way: taking orders, bringing our food, providing extras like napkins, and even taking almost 20 minutes to bring the bill. The cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival, they didn't clean our table properly, and they even left a plate with salt and a used lemon from the previous service. Overall, we had a terrible experience, and during the almost two and a half hours we had to wait from the moment we arrived, we noticed the same discomfort at other tables. The service, speaking of friendliness from the waiter (and I think from all of them), was good; they tried to serve us well and weren't rude, but again, the other negative points don't help. I hope they take all the feedback into account, because for the rating they have (which we didn't check before going in), it must give them something to improve.
The only nice thing about it is the decor; otherwise, I waited an hour for two plates of chilaquiles with meat, which were more meat than chilaquiles, and another hour and twenty minutes for some simple tostadas with beans. They ruin the whole experience of visiting the town.
The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow, taking over an hour. One dish never arrived because the waiter forgot it. But the worst part was the manager's attitude. He was rude and arrogant, arguing with us when we asked for an alternative. He couldn't even offer a substitute for the dish he hadn't prepared. He was impolite and charged us the full bill, even after we suggested a small payment for the delay. The worst part was when I told the manager (he didn't even have the decency to give his name) that the place had been highly recommended and that it was a disappointment. The young man didn't even bother to reply. It was definitely a terrible experience for us, and we wouldn't return because the poor service and rudeness don't justify it, even though the food and the place itself aren't bad. It would be great if the owners read the reviews and acted accordingly.
The service is incredibly slow, the food took ages to arrive, and they brought us our food before our coffee. They didn't offer us bread, sauce, or anything. The food wasn't bad, but it could be improved. We spoke to the waiter who was here today, and he just turned away, leaving us talking to ourselves. The service leaves much to be desired.
The place itself is very eye-catching; the facade is striking. However, once inside, the service is poor, not to mention terrible. For only two people working on the floor and quite a few tables, it's disheartening. The coffee and food were cold, and the wait was excessive—almost an hour—for our food to arrive. I hope they improve the service, organization, and timing, because it's simply awful to eat and drink something cold.
Shame about the place. The exquisite and tasteful decor is the only good thing about it. We went there on the recommendation of the guide, but later we learned they get a commission for sending people! The place is super small, and they have many tables packed tightly together, obviously with little free access for the waiters during service! They were slow, and we couldn't tell who our waiter was since we were all served, even by a man who didn't wear a Filipino shirt! I ordered mole, yes, it was delicious, but with a mini piece of chicken and a piece of breast, and a small portion of bland rice that I didn't even finish! My friends ordered chiles en nogada (a type of rice), which only one of them got, and my other friend only drank water, and, oh well, they didn't bring her order! The one who was served: surprise, her chile was stuffed with chicken tinga! And she commented that the nogada was very watery! For their prices, I expected better; they only put effort into the decor and the waiters' uniforms! I don't recommend it!
