As someone from a family of retired Venezuelan Chinese restaurant owners, I have to say they nailed the fried rice technique. It has great wok hei (char or the “breath of the wok”) and the right coloring, texture with proper use of soy sauce, ham and bean sprouts. They use basmati rice instead of overnight long-grain, which isn’t traditional but helps control moisture and grain integrity. The ribs are well roasted and nicely colored, though they use baby back ribs, which are leaner and drier than the traditional St. Louis cut. The sauce could use a touch more acidity and starch for balance. Overall, they’ve mastered the technique, which is the hardest part. They just need a few ingredient tweaks away from being truly authentic. However, not sure if they are aiming for authenticity or please their clientele who want meatier ribs and that type of rice, which is more expensive the traditional ingredients. Also, the use of the aluminum containers for the ribs is nostalgic.
Went to checkout this new spot. Worth the hype! Best PASTELITOS I’ve had. Tried all 4 flavors. Favorite being the cheese/Beef. EPIC! Looking fwd to going back and trying more items they offer. Owners and staff were present and very welcoming. TheDFWFoodRep approved✅ Gracias!
I tried a Patacon, very delicious. Nice and clean restaurant. I liked it a lot
I love the food here, everything is delicious but definitely my favorite is the Pabellón and the Tequeños with the “Chica Sexy” sauce

Loved my first experience trying Venezuelan food here! Totally recommend the Arepa Pastellón if you want a sweet and savory lunch! I’ve never had a mix of plantain with more savory foods and it was really good! I’ll definitely return!
I love it! The experience of Venezuelan food is awesome!! The price are really good! We have different plates and the look, the flavors and all the toppings that they give you are real variation! Plus, the good service and really clean place! I will definitely will come back! The Chinese Venezuelan looks amazing.

The food was excellent! Great and filling portions, the we even took left overs. Incredible customer service, very friendly staff. Loved the atmosphere as it was great representation of hispanic culture. All around a great place. I will definitely revisit and choose another dish from their varied menu. Thank You! 🙏🏾

Very good food and service. We have tried several Venezuelan restaurants in tje area and the food and service was great. Look forward to going back to try more dishes.
We walked in about 6pm on a weekday. There was no one behind the counter. It appeared that all 6 employees were at one table. They were all on their phones. No one looked up. We waited and still no one acknowledged us. We left. No business from us.
This restaurant honestly doesn’t deserve even one star. On a busy Saturday night — when many people are out looking to enjoy a meal — it felt like this place didn’t want our business at all. My husband and I love Venezuelan food, and this was our first time visiting, so we were excited. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing first impression. When we approached the counter, we were handed a long list of items that were supposedly unavailable. It was confusing to receive a full front-and-back menu when many of the listed options could not actually be ordered. After choosing something from the limited list, we politely asked if an item could be substituted with chicken instead of beef and were told no. While we understand policies, the lack of flexibility added to the frustration. What really bothered us was selecting another item that was clearly listed as available, only to be told they couldn’t make it at that moment. The cook and cashier went back and forth about whether empanadas could even be prepared. Eventually they agreed, so we ordered three chicken empanadas and one sausage. Then we were told sausage empanadas weren’t available — even though sausage was clearly listed on the menu. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and inconsistent. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but the confusion, mixed messages, and lack of preparation made the visit disappointing. We hope they improve their communication and menu availability in the future.
Tried to call and place an order first time. Really liked the pictures, but unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish and their menu is all in spanish only. Tried to explain that over the phone to the lady on Jan 18 around 6:35pm and she dropped the call in mid sentence. Called 2nd time. Got ignored and transferred to voicemail which is all in Spanish too. Definitely NOT a friendly place for curious first timers
I went here for lunch today. Unfortunately, the entire menu is in Spanish without any English translations or descriptions. Also, the waitress (who was very nice and friendly) was not really able to help me navigate the menu. I wish they put English descriptions. The menu was online through a QR code, so it seems as thought it would be quite easy to accommodate non-Spanish speaking customers. Hopefully they will make this change sometime and I'll try the food and update my review. I was really looking forward to trying Venezuelan food.
