Cool little place. Basically feels like a small modern tap room. We were there real late at night so it was a little slow but it had a cool vibe. Great music. They have a LOT of options (including local) for beer on tap. You can buy by the glass or fill growlers. Overall it seemed fairly affordable as well.
The beer selection is one of the best in Dallas and the bartenders are super helpful with recommendations. Recent changes to the pet policy are a little sad (service dogs only) but nothing really brings this place down. Super friendly neighborhood vibe.
First time visiting and we very much enjoyed the relaxed setting. There are so many options so we decided to have the flight! The associates were friendly and very helpful. I even picked up my first growler! And theres free popcorn!
36 taps. Some special releases and barrel aged beers. Plenty of local beers. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great selection of beer and great service. Friendly staff + good music.

The ultimate neighborhood staple and what a local taproom should be. Perfect balance of local/Texas beers and some of the best beer/breweries around the country. Always an N/A offering, and even some wines on tap. Great selection, better people. Don’t want to ever live in a neighborhood that doesn’t have a Lakewood Growler.
Kind of a neighborhood type bar. Small but nice indoor and outdoor seating. Free popcorn was nice. Large variety of beer choices. Simple place to have a beer.
This is a simple, locals hangout for craft beer, wine, cider, and THC drink. Sometimes people bring their own food or get some at nearby restaurants. I enjoy their patio, wifi, and free popcorn. It's a great place to be a "regular".
Amazing place to grab a beer with friends. Kids are welcome which makes it even better. The beer selection is incredible and there are plenty of options for everyone to choose. They don't have food, only popcorn, but there are a couple of food places walking distance that you can bring your food from.
I'm a cider girl, and the two I've had at Lakewood Growler have been great. Wish they'd bring back the grapefruit cider! They are able to can any of the beers on tap for you to bring home. Nice local hangout. Clean inside. The people there give it the pub vibe since the location itself is in a strip center. (Hey, just means more parking available!) Also, they have a patio with outdoor seating.
Gumbo cook off was a real good time!
This is a great spot to get a tasty beer on tap. With one of the biggest selections I’ve seen in Dallas, Lakewood Growler always keeps new things on draft. They also have a very wide variety of beers and bring in plenty of seasonal options. Growler and Crowler fills are cheap as well. Whether you’re taking home or stopping in, LG is the place to get beer in East Dallas. They also allow you to bring in your own food or order from spots within the shopping center.
Visiting this place is always a top priority when I am in Dallas to see my family. I love the wide selection of beer, and the laid back atmosphere. The employees are always helpful if you have a question about one of the beer choices. If I lived in Dallas, I fear I would be there every day.
I come here everyweek, I love it , that’s all I can say I will bring my friends here
One of my favorite place to go to with my husband. Ross is one cool dude he always knows our order and always down for some chitchat. The drinks here are good too haven't tried any that I haven't liked.

Good place to grab a variety of draft beer. They have a great prio to sit on. Unfortunately, it was cold and the propane heaters were not working so we had to leave the patio set up when the sun set. Inside is nice as well. I was with a large party and staff was accommodating to requests to shift tables and chairs around. I don't drink much, do I grabbed a Topo Chico. Hubs tried a few different brews and liked them both. Another table was quietly playing boards games. Chill place with lots of beer options.
While I understand that this is a beer place, it would be nice if they had more than one cider option for those of us who want to join our friends when they go have a beer but who cannot do gluten. Being able to order food from the many restaurants in the area is a big plus! It's a great place to hang out and enjoy the company of your friends or to just get away from it all and have a brew on your own.
Great little place if you need a low key place to grab a beer in Dallas. Good selection. Staff was alright. This was my first time there so I had no idea how to order (At my table, at the small bar, do I wait at the bar, do they bring it to me?) Which made it slightly awkward for me.
They have a ton of options on tap which is great. The atmosphere is ok, looks like your typical tap room. I think they were having a plumbing issue cause it smelled terrible inside, so we sat on the patio.

We recently visited the Lakewood growler, a beer outlet located in a shopping center. The decor resembles a military dining hall: bare picnic tables and long wooden benches in non-descript colors. Thankfully, there was no or just quiet music, allowing conversations. The beer selection consisted of about a dozen options, mostly local, mostly on tap. The offerings of non-alcoholic beverages is limited. The bartender, while friendly, was not very familiar with the offers on hand, but was willing to offer free samples. All in all, a decent place for beer lovers, but not a place we would go out of our way to visit again.

My husband and I have been here several times. They have a great beer selection, but the customer service is just terrible. We are avid craft beer drinkers and so we love going to growler fills in order to try many different local beers all in one place. We came in on Saturday, June 29th and it was pretty dead because a storm was about to roll through the area. We went up to the bar and asked to try a sample of a beer each, so two (2) total. There was a short, large, blonde woman behind the bar who said in a very snotty manner "you only get two samples each, that's it." We'd only tried one sample each. Isn't the point of a growler fill to find a beer that you enjoy? They weren't busy, we weren't holding up any lines, and we've NEVER had a growler fill limit samples to such a small number. We ended up only getting one beer each and then leaving. Had the customer service been better we would have ended up staying all afternoon and spending a significant amount of money. We honestly won't be back. We enjoy Taps & Caps instead because the customer service much more friendly!
