Very cute and colorful place, typical of Mexican restaurants. Relaxed atmosphere and good food. The welcome was warm, and the staff were very kind and friendly.

Ok so I was really craving Mexican food after a long day. I stopped at this place for the first time and internally rolled my eyes at the prescience of falafels and teriyaki sauce. The awesome guy helping me (Nello?) was patient and tell me WHY was it so good? Like I was not prepared to enjoy this meal but I can’t wait to come back. The veggie tacos were the best tacos I’ve had in Italy. The corn side? What? Add some of their hot sauce and it’s pretty close to home in California. I will 100% be back. Service 10 stars 🙌

First time at CALAVERA...The place is very cute, very bright, and has a themed interior. The dishes arrived quickly and hot, very tasty and flavorful! The staff was available to answer all our questions! The price was a bit high for the amount of food on the plates... The opportunity to try Coca-Cola, Orangeade, and Sprite in various flavors was great!

This place isn't exactly the best (near the toll booth). It's a bit empty inside, but the decor is decent. The burritos are good, as are the empanadas. They also offer Corona on tap, but it's a bit pricey. The price is moderately high, especially for the tapas.

The place is cute and quaint. Even though we arrived late (it was almost 10:00 PM), they seated us without any problems. The service was a bit slow despite the small number of people present, but we took it as a positive, considering the fact that the dishes weren't ready yet. The staff, however, is always courteous. I really enjoyed the burrito; the paella fajitas, on the other hand, are an Iberian-Mexican mix that honestly didn't thrill me (also due to the difficulty in putting them together). The green sangria was pleasant; I expected more from the red one.

The restaurant is part of a chain. Lots of Mexican influences. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is nothing special, plus the smallest tortillas I've ever seen in a restaurant seem a bit of a joke. The flavors are unremarkable. Prices are high for the quantity and quality of the food.

Nice, relaxing atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. Paper napkins, clean bathroom, a bit of a slow service, but the staff was friendly and helpful. We had two burritos, one with hot sauce and the other with spicy salsa. The one with spicy salsa was especially good, although it was too spicy for me 🤭.

We went to Calavera in Agrate last night with friends. The experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was sad. Despite the small crowd, we endured long waits. We later realized why: the same small, lanky group of waiters was forced to manage two restaurants, Calavera and the Roadhouse, which is right next door. Unbelievable! The management of both establishments needs to take a stand, both towards the customers and towards the poor waiters forced to race between the two dining rooms. We asked for and received a discount on the total. A word about the waiters: polite but completely out of shape, unable to manage the situation despite their best efforts.

The food is good, but the service leaves a lot t9 be desired... Sunday, 7 pm, empty restaurant, took them over half a hour to get us 3 appetisers and 3 burritos. Upon payment we informed the waitress we never got the chips we ordered with the burritos and she didn't even apologise. Definitely not recommended.

Come si può lasciare il ristorante in mano a camerieri che devono seguire anche il ristorante a fianco? Pessimo servizio, ritardo assurdo ed eravamo solo in 2 in tutto il locale. Esperienza pessima.

Il ristorante era completamente deserto e nonostante ciò il cameriere ci ha messo 30 minuti per prendere un singolo ordine per poi scomparire e tornare dopo alti 20 minuti con 4 miseri tacos per lo più freddi! Inutile dire che siamo stati più tempo ad aspettare l’ordine che a consumarlo. Spero questo locale, se così lo si può chiamare, chiuda presto! Sconsiglio andarci! Davvero penoso. Se ci fosse stata l’opzione per mettere zero stelle la avrei messa ma sfortunatamente il minimo è 1..

We waited for more than 15 minutes in front of the entrance, but we waited in vain, no one was seen, there were only 2 tables occupied, after this wait and not having seen anyone, we decided to leave, and I don't think I'll return!

Terrible experience. We waited almost 10 minutes at the entrance without finding anyone at the register; we were forced to go to the kitchen to ask for assistance. The place was practically deserted, with only four people seated. The wait for the food was interminable: almost an hour. The quality, unfortunately, was disappointing in every way. The burrito rice was undercooked, three portions of guacamole we ordered never arrived, and the Parrillada Mixta was embarrassing: the portions were tiny compared to the menu and undercooked. To top off the negative experience, the beer was served warm. Overall, the service and cuisine fell far short of expectations.

Holy cow! An hour and a half for lunch, and there were literally five of us in the restaurant. The quality-price ratio is terrible: you spend a lot, you eat very little.

The two of us wanted to have dinner on a Monday evening. We found the parking lot quiet. Upon entering, there was no one there, not even any staff. We walked through the entire restaurant and didn't see anyone. That was strange, as the door was wide open and a billboard was standing invitingly right next to the entrance. We left after two minutes, as it was almost creepy.

Ridiculous: 3 staff members to manage TWO RESTAURANTS (including the adjacent Roadhouse). Whoever authorized such a thing is incompetent. Disgraceful waits (15 minutes for a refill of tortillas while the meat cooled, another 10 minutes to pay, etc.). The tortillas, when they arrived, were the wrong size: two regular-sized, two small (the ones for tacos). Disgraceful.
