This place is amazing. Been coming to ADK for 13 years and usually have breakfast but this trip started going out for breakfast. I got the corned beef hash and my husband got the Apple stuffed french toast. My corned beef hash came with two eggs which I ordered as over medium. Most places don't get that right, but this place got it perfectly! The corned beef was so tender and tasty it may have been the best I've ever had. The Apple stuffed French toast was dynamite! It was a perfect ratio of apples to cream cheese. Our server was friendly and engaging and the coffee was delightful (I am a coffee snob). The worst thing about this place is it's close one day a week 🤣 but the employees deserve days off too. 😁 We will be back. Thanks for a great meal!!

This past week my family and I stopped in at the ADK CAVU Cafe and were overwhelmingly impressed with our experience. We didn’t realize how close to closing we had arrived but the kitchen agrees to stay open and we were welcomed in. We had no idea we would be discovering an absolute gem! The service, the hospitality, the atmosphere and THE FOOD were beyond impressive! We have found another “favorite” in the Adirondacks. Many thanks to these folks- we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend their quesadilla ☺️

Great breakfast spot! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly — the kielbasa skillet was especially good. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and you can’t beat the view of planes right outside the window while you eat. A fun, unique place to start the day in the Adirondacks. Highly recommend!

The CAVU Cafe is the best there is.period. From breakfast to lunch you cannot go wrong. The chefs recipes and homemade items like breakfast sausage are exceptional. The kids love seeing the planes coming and going at the airport too.

My go to place whenever in the Saranac Lake lake area, breakfast, yummy and lunch as well. And you get to watch the planes land and you might even see Chinese billionaire Jack Ma, who has 28,000+ acres of land in the Adirondacks, Santa Clara region, and borders many miles of the St. Regis River.

If you’re thinking of giving this place a try, check it out! Even if there’s a little bit of a wait it is completely WORTH IT!!! You absolutely won’t be disappointed, in fact you’ll become a regular before you know it! It’s located in the airport but it’s open to the public and you don’t need a flight to eat there! Plenty of parking and you get to watch the planes take off while you eat! This place is fantastic, 10/10 breakfast! Omelettes eggs and toast are good, have also heard “The Hanger” breakfast is pretty good! They use the best and freshest meats and ingredients. I’ve also been for lunch and they have lots of great lunch options! The portions are very decent, the prices are reasonable, and the food quality is outstanding. Their staff is super friendly and attentive! There is something for everyone on their menu, both breakfast and lunch!

Cute place on a small Runway to watch planes come and go. Service was good , Food was good, Prices were fair .highly recommend if you’re up that way. Google diners near Saranac and look for the ADK CAVU CAFE, a Little ride from Saranac but worth the trip .
