Best Szechuan Style Bean Curd( veggie mapo tofu) In town. Better than those with meat that I have tried in Alameda. This place is great and the food is really good. A diamond in the rough. Look forward to trying more of the menu.
It's the Freezing COLD and rainy weather time of season to get your body warmed up with the BEST Wor Wonton soup in the Bay Area in Alameda. There are always other tasty dishes that are popular as well. Call first to order is highly recommended. Open late
Not sure what's up with reviews, this place has the best orange chicken in the East Bay. I hope they add veggie egg rolls to the menu
The best vegetable egg foo young EVER!!! I have tried so many in Alameda but this is Awsome. Enough for two meals and browned crust with so many yummy vegetables inside. BRAVO . DEFINITELY THE BEST.
I use dragon village as the meter of which I judge all other restaurants by because they are simply the best I have had. Always fresh and made perfectly to order. Friendly staff and decent selections and choices! The best Chinese food!
1st time going will not be my last i love to put soy sauce on my shrimp fried rice it was not needed at all wonderful flavor fresh and just good food and open late
Small Chinese restaurant. Great food at a good price. Best for takeout. Highly recommended.
5/5. Came here for late night food pick up. I was greeted promptly and the gentlemen took my order. I could understand his English perfect (not sure why other reviewers say they can’t?) Food is definition of local Chinese gem. Mongolian beef, Orange chicken & Bbq fried rice was gas. If you’re an orange chicken snob you’ll probably not go anywhere else after
Best food in Alameda. My family loves this place
Best Chinese in Alameda, bar none. Comically huge portions. Food packed with flavor and spice. Juicy, hot, and cooked to perfection. Fast delivery too. Thank you Dragon Village, you guys rule!
I moved to the Island a couple of months ago and I haven’t found a real Chinese food spot. I finally gave this restaurant a chance and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, hot, good and great portions. It’s not my favorite Chinese restaurant on the island

Family owned, nice, local place that stays open so late sometimes I swear they live in there xD

Really good food, one of my favorites in town. Love their fried foods, rice, and bbq pork wonton soup. They are generous with portions as well. -1 star just because the building needs some paint.
Absolutely fantastic food. The people who work here are very friendly as well. -1 star for cosmetics. The outside of the building is ran down and I'm sure this keeps business away. Great portions and prices as well!

The servings are large, and when I asked them to cutt out the salt they did. The sweet and sour is way to sweet because it's out of a jar, but the the sweet and sour with fish was a lot of at least six pieces, and seven cups veggies.
Too many onions, not enough noodles in the chow mein. The charred onions made the whole dish taste burnt. The salt and pepper spareribs were salty and tough to chew.

Their food was not that good anymore since the new owner or management took over. The good thing is that they're still busy. But only one person was working on the floor at that time. He was helping customers that are walking in, answering the phone taking orders and there are times he's not able to answer the phone because he was checking all the orders that are ready to go. Also, customers are walking out and not able to wait to be serve. He sure needs help badly. At least three people should be working from the floor and able to take care their customers properly. Don't think I'm coming back, sorry.

Was sick and wanted to have a bowl of won ton soup. When I got home the container spilled out on me and it was completely stuffed with won tons and meat. I feel like they just stuffed all the won tons they had left from the past three days into my container. There was barely any broth, and only a few pieces of lettuce.
Do you know how when you open the plate and see Sesame chicken is mostly fried clumps of bread and sauce with little chicken pieces inside. Thats what they have. Plus no fried rice with a 20$ plate. And the white rice was nothing to write home about. The establishment is in real need of remodeling and a paint job…I will take my business elsewhere on the island.

I called in my order and they said it will be ready in 20 minutes. The food is not ready yet and made me wait for 7 minutes. They are short staff and guy in cashier is confused, he does’nt know what he is going to do first. Having a hard time reading receipts. Place is so dirty and kitchen too. Not going back.
I ordere tomatoe chicken chow fun with salt and pepper fish. THE WORST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten!!! I have given this restaurant several tries to fix the issue and each time I’ve ordered comes worse then the other. The chow fun was swimming with oil and hard over cooked chicken, and fish was all bread little bits of fish and ALL bread it’s was nasty. What a waste of money!
This place was amazing until the pandemic hit. It's gone downhill ever since. Prices of almost doubled, food portions are smaller, and the quality of the food is absolutely horrible. The orange chicken was absolutely burnt, hardly any of it and the hot and sour soup smelled like something had died in it. Such a shame as this was my favorite place ever. Feel ill. I don't think I'll be back again.
