Classic no frills dive on Haight st.
Really friendly service when we came and good happy hour drinks! Happy hour is 12-7pm :)
Went for a comedy show... had a good time!
This is a great fing bar.... Very friendly and good drinks
Great vibes, wonderful bar for casual drinks. Bar staff is friendly, plenty of seating
This is a super fun place to stop by - a great mix of locals and travelers who are open for good conversation while you're enjoying an afternoon on Haight.
Good loud music mix. Chill drink snack N grub. Not too crowded. Room to walk around the quaint lil spot. I LOVE HAIGHT street!
I used to hang out here with my ex boyfriend and friends back in the day lol. It was called John murios back then. Was an absolute blast!!!! Sadly it now seems gentrification took over lol . Oh well, I still have my memories !!
Exceptional bar. Amazing bartender. A great place to take a load off and relax.
Great bar staff, if you're traveling and wish to be at an out of state dive bar in San Francisco, its a great place to unwind and get a good idea of local life. I recommend it
I love this bar so much. They always have a rotating cocktail with fresh squeezed juice as special. Haight setting. Adorable.
One of the friendliest and cozy bars on Haight that never seems to have that many people. Kinda a hidden gem. For sure drop in here for some drinks while you are visiting the Haight.
regular and local 'dive' bar mix regular locals and yuppie techies everyone gets along fine great beers TVs love this place
Excellent place with an easy vibe. Big space with an open feel and a great place to day-drink, too!
Chill, nice staff, nice beer selection. They have Pliny on tap, so that's pretty cool.
Great Bar, one of my favorites in SF. They allow dogs and bikes inside. They play Sunday NFL, Olympics, cycling, soccer, and basketball. Fun music at night, great place if you are running errands and want to have a Pliny the Elder or Blind Pig by Russian River on Draft.
Great local bar with outdoor seating. It’s been around for a while. Great juke box and pool table.
Great place. Love the vibe. Pinball, jukebox, Comedy night. All great!
Lovely little dive bar with great people. Thanks for showing me a real Aperol Spritz is made with champagne!
Was happy to stumble upon this bar. Great bartender. Happy to watch the game.

Great bartender, great conversations. We were able to exchange different experiences and have a lot of fun. My wife and I highly recommend Happy hour--alot of fun!
so this place is an interesting cauldron of smart and cray. hard to know who from which until you converse or unlock the right bartender. shots are standard practice and the brews are righteous. low down fanciful is the best adjectiveful description
Great local bar in the Upper Haight. Strong pours and shots galore. I cruise in and usually stumble out. Love the quick witted bartenders and all the regulars. They’re our extended family in SF.
Incredible soundtrack, dog friendly, people friendly, pool table, various options for seating, reasonable prices, not too loud, great vibe. Love this bar every time I’m here.
Amazing atmosphere and drinks! The bartender was such an amazing guy. You could tell the locals knew him and he knew them. So personable and friendly. Highly recommend if you're new to the area and want a chill spot! We grabbed the new york style pizza next door and it was also bomb.
Love it!! All the things a good bar needs...go, drink, have fun. Pretty bar maids.
Very friendly, chill spot. ~6 beers on tap, definitely not a craft beer bar (which keeps it from being stuffy and pricey!), with a standard cocktail menu. Excellent spot to stop in and grab a casual drink and people / mural watch out the window.
My favorite bar in the Haight. Chill neighborhood bar where you can strike up a cool conversation with the locals. Best beer on tap - one of the few places you can find Russian River beers, including Pliny, which is one of my favorites. The bartenders will keep you entertained and they make very good Bloddy Marys.

Cool place, lots of fancy beer. 2 good pinball and a pool table.
Fresh fruit cocktails, pool table, decent service (varies by bartender), and worth a stop if you're in the area
Fun bar with plenty of TVs to watch the game with enough seats and couches for all your friends!
i like this bar because it has a pool table, and nice sitting area if you are going there with a group, it has a one big screen tv and afew smaller ones, weekends getting busy.
Nice spacious bar with a lounge area. Good selection on tap and in bottles. A couple of games are available such as billiards.
Decent bar, a couple of decent places to sit and chat with pals. But the billiards table is what makes Murios stand out.
I stopped by for a drink with friends. You certainly should not expect the best service ever but they have a good ipa and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The board out the front drew me in - Pliney on tap. Good place and beers. The bartender was friendly as were the locals drinking there. As a traveller that's always welcome.
Murio's is an easy bar with good beers on tap. They make drinks with fresh squeezed juice which is always a great leg up on other bars. I love that they offer a pool table, juke box, and a good amount of space to sit and chat.
My go-to bar in the Upper Haight. $5 Pliny the Elder on tap if you're lucky, and if they don't have Pliny at the time, they have Blind Pig which is also really good. Billiards and a chill atmosphere make it a good local spot.

Crooks here! Be very careful of this place if visiting from out of town. I was there March 19th in the evening for a few drinks before dinner. The scum bag bartender decided to give himself a $10 tip on my card. Luckily, my cc warned me of this and even luckier, I had the receipt from that night to verify that this bartender was committing fraud. Needless to say that on my next visit to SF, I will NOT be going to this dump for libations.
Terrible service, they outsourced food service that we had to get ourselves for ordinance compliance. Only 1 server on duty for all tables. Milk Bar across the street is much better
Rude server and the drinks nothing to write home about, also pricey. Atmosphere not memorable.
Bad service, cocktails expensive yet nothing special and loud atmosphere
Terrible service, the bartender has no respect for customer service. I saw someone kicked out for not picking up there order on time....yeah mind boggling. I won't be coming back to this bar and it would be the last bar I recommend to friends.
The bartender lady what is the most hung over person I’ve ever met, didn’t hear my Order correctly and then overcharge my way pouring two more beers that I didn’t order. She was super rude and confronted me verbally for no reason. What’s wrong with the service here, unreal I hope the owner reads this and does something about her (serving on 2/12/22 @5pm). Can’t treat people this way…
Horrendous experience. Bad vibes from the beginning. Started at the doormen checking ID. Bad attitude, and unsharp. Then the late thirties overweight unshaven black hair caucasian male who was the bartender greeted me. Everything went downhill from there. He asked me what I wanted, and I did not know. I asked for a menu, and he just threw it in front me, and turned to help other customers. I was obviously not the typical cliente he was used to. Which is no excuse at any respectable establishment to be down right rude, and disrespectful. If you want something ghetto, ratchet, with rude and disrespectful employees, Murio's Trophy Room is the right place for you.
The Australian woman started snapping at me in a nasty tone to turn my music down when it was at a below minimum volume. No customer service she kept snapping and yelling at me when I said that I expected better customer service. I will be speaking to the higher ups if I get a chance. I paid for my product expect decent service. I have provided many years of exceptional and quality service in the food industry, myself. No need to speak like that to patrons.
Honestly we loved it at first but then the hate speech that came from the bartender when we left was not cool. We said we were from Utah, tipped almost 30%, but then they said “f*cking Mormons” on our way out. We are not, but that isn’t cool. Thought the owner and bartender were cool but the fakeness and hate speech were uncalled for and not appropriate. Will not be back.
