Eastern Dragon is the best Chinese Food restaurant in Franklin County. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, ordering sesame tofu with veggie fried rice with no egg is not an easy task for many Chinese restaurants that I have experienced in the past. They have made mistakes in the past but have always gone above and beyond to correct those mistakes. When ordering takeout over the phone, more often than not, you will speak with a person who’s native language is English. If you need modifications to your order like I do, this is very helpful. Even though the seating is limited, the friendly wait staff is attentive and accommodating. Parking can be difficult on Thursday evenings to Saturday evenings. There have been times I’ve walked a quarter of a mile to the restaurant because it was the closest parking spot but it is well worth the walk. If anyone is looking for Chinese food in Saint Albans, Eastern Dragon is the place to go.

Fresh delicious Chinese food made to order. (They serve Japanese food too) We ate at the restaurant.... just a few tables & booths available, nothing special about the ambiance but the staff is very attentive and friendly! Staff provided a personal space heater to help keep us warm because every time the door opens cold wintery air rushes in.

We got takeout here over the weekend. The price was quite good. The mu shu vegetables and the vegetable rice were surprisingly bland. The cheese raggoons were good. The spring roll was as to be expected. The dumplings were really quite good. The tempura cheesecake was good but heavy as I would expect. The tempura vegetables were good as were the sweet potato and vegetarian California roll sushi that we got. The seaweed salad was also quite good.

The staff is always so friendly here! The sushi isn't "the best" I've ever had but it is fresh, thoughtfully prepared and always served with a smile. The owner went out of their way on my last visit to be sure my sashimi deluxe order had exactly the fish I wanted which was very much appreciated. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the won ton soup is *delicious*!

Ive always loved Eastern Dragon but the past 3 orders were not right. Twice they forgot the rice completely. They were very apologetic on the phone, but after a long day at work I don’t want to run back out to pick up their mistake. I don’t go there much anymore unless I’m eating in.

Went to this place twice during a business trip, once for lunch and once for dinner. For typical Chinese take out, it was good no complaints at all. For dinner, I had sushi. It was ok, it was expensive for what you got and if you're a big fan of sushi this wouldn't be the best place. I think it's more of a Chinese food place that does sushi on the side rather than a true sushi place. Menu is confusing, both online and paper copy. Not clear exactly what your getting and how much of it.

I am not one to submit reviews, I am this time because I use to love eating here but the past few times we have ordered here we have received the incorrect food or missing something. As this is very disappointing and unfortunate since our family did eat her a lot.

I have ate here since I was 17. It was my go-to spot for sushi. I moved out of state 8 years ago and always made it a goal to get sushi here when I got home and chicken lo mein. This is the first time I can truly say this place is awful now and super disappointing. The pork fried rice is not the same and flavorless, the chicken lo mein meat is tough and gross and the sushi did not taste right and was incredibly soft. I don't know what y'all are doing- but you are going to lose long-term customers and new ones if you stick with this new cook/management. Not good at all. 😞

Used to be amazing but as of late has been disappointing with sesame shrimp that is liquidy and sushi that doesn’t taste fresh, doused in too much spicy mayo, and falls apart. Very hit or miss as sometimes it’s great but lately we have had more misses, even on weekdays when the place is empty.

Got food poisoning from this place Sunday night called they refused to take responsibility or even offer a refund ended up with both me and my girlfriend in the hospital missing work Monday spending half the day in the hospital

Have eaten at Eastern Dragon MANY times over the past 16 years. Used to be our go to place...not so much as of lately. Food quality seems to have gone way down. Even their basic pork fried rice is not the same. I loved their chicken dishes because it looked & tasted like good white meat (not mystery meat)...not anymore. New cook or management??

Ordered mapo tofu and I don’t even know what I received. The only ingredient that belonged was tofu. I’m not sure who thought celery, bell peppers, carrots, and baby corn belong but they’re dead wrong. The rice was over cooked with too much water and certainly wasn’t the right type of rice for Chinese or Japanese food. Kind of feel like I ordered from the wrong restaurant?
