I went to SoBol in Hewlett and ordered a coconut bowl. So good!! Everything was fresh, and super flavorful. The staff was really friendly and made my bowl fast. Definitely one of my spots.!!

abby was an amazing help very kind on the walk in, Her smile brightened the store, she helped my friends very well and took care of us all at the end. Thank you abby and thank you sol bowl.

Bowls with protein and nutella were freshly made and delicious per usual will be returning soon!

Usually go to this location because it’s near my house but everytime I come I look for grace she’s the nicest and most helpful with choices and recommendations!! <3333 I always enjoy coming here

I usually love the bowls and smoothies from here, but unfortunately the smoothies we got today were super watery and not blended well. There are chunks of spinach in the super green smoothie, and açaí smoothie was bitter and watery. For the price paid I feel like we should’ve gotten a better quality. **UPDATE** After reviewing the situation and my review, Sobol Hewlett kindly offered new smoothies and they were much better! They were properly made and tasted great. I attached updated photos as well. Thank you Sobol on caring about customer satisfaction! I will be returning again soon.

I first came in here a few months ago and the original worker I met was extremely nice. The atmosphere is great but unfortunately, some of the workers are not happy to be there. I understand it gets busy and people get frustrated, but you have to try your best to make people feel welcome. I’ve ordered from here a few times, and each time, my stuff comes out subpar. I’ve tried to give this place a chance, but it seems like its the usual. Every time I order a smoothie, it is completely watery and not blended well. The açai smoothie has been made twice for me and barely has any açai. I order the açai bowl with no banana inside (since I’m allergic) and when I told the staff member, she looked upset that she now had to make a bowl with no banana. People have told me its harder to blend, but you have to cater to allergies. The bowl she handed me is literally strawberries blended with water. It’s so disappointing. It tastes like there is 0 açai and it really does not look like she tried. I’ve tried the same thing from other SoBols and they do it great! This place has so much potential, but it’s just not the best right now.

I order from SoBol all the time. I frequent their Rockville Center location, and the staff there are helpful and always precise when preparing their bowls. I thought Hewlett would be the same and I live close by so I was excited. That was until this became a constant problem. They have kids working there, that simply don’t care. They don’t care how they prepare the bowl, their behavior spending more time taking to their friends, and they don’t care when they have been told numerous times, to fill the bowl with something other than nothing. Anytime I went to Rockville center the fruit in the bowl would be touching the cover and spread evenly. The bowl from Hewlett (as seen below) ordered on a slow paced Sunday, has fruit uncut, and clumped on, and barely filling the bowl. The only reason not to fill isn’t the inventory, it’s the LAZINESS of the staff there. I will not recommend anyone go to the Hewlett location, they are better off driving an extra 10 minutes to Rockville Center.

I have been to several sobols and this one is bad. The one in plainview is amazing from the staff to the way they prepare everything. Here they make them poorly and they do not know what they are doing. They can’t even add reward points I have to now come back when the manager is here so he could fix it. They need to hire a new staff. Bananas are all brown. I’m done coming here I’ll go to RVC or Plainview. DON’T waste your money here, go to RVC. 10 minutes but service and professionalism are worth it. I ordered 3 classic bowls and they were all gross. The girls that work there are sloppy and when they couldn’t figure out how to work the register one exclaimed “I can’t do this it’s so hard” Time to hire competent staff who are not just there to hang around.
