India's Tandoori

Vada pav was as close to the real thing as it gets. Super authentic. That dry garlic chutney was super good. If you can handle spice, eat it with the green chilli — no joke. Probably the best vada I’ve had here, and yeah, they make it fresh in-house.

Tandoori Twist is an amazing addition to Valley Stream! I tried a rice bowl at their grand opening and was blown away. The ingredients all tasted so fresh, and all the flavors complemented each other perfectly. Service was excellent and ordering was efficient and easy. I can’t wait to go back!

It was great! The step by step process on the board was helpful. Food was delicious. We had wraps, tacos, and gulab jamun. Happy to have this great food option in Valley Stream.

We ordered 3 rice bowls, samosas, pani puri and garlic naan. The butter sauce was flavorful as well as the Chana masala. The samosas were cooked perfectly and the naan 🤤. The service was friendly and fast. The place was well lit and very clean. I am definitely adding it to our rotation of take outs.

We were tired from our chores today and wow, this food was a nice pick-me-up. It was very delicious and comforting after a long days work! We ordered Biryani Chicken, Butter Chicken Bowl and a Rice bowl (very similar to the Butter Chicken bowl) and I added my own toppings with a mango chutney and tamarind chutney. The Garlic naan was not enough! Lol should’ve ordered 3! Will be ordering from this place again and support the local biz!

My husband and I took a walk to find something to eat and ran into tandoori twist (we didnt realize it had opened already). We went inside and thought it was nicely done from the tables to the wall art to the light fixtures, and the food was even better! I ordered the naan chicken wrap with butter sauce i got to choose my own toppings and sauces it was delicious. We definitely will be going back. Oh the staff was very nice, friendly and the service was speedy.

If you have a craving for Indian food, look no further than Tandoori Twist in the heart of Valley Stream's business district. I ordered a chicken rice bowl, samosas, and garlic Naan. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the order was fulfilled. The portions were generous enough to get a couple of meals out of. I was a little disappointed by the lack of decor and ambience. However, as my order was takeout, the surroundings weren't as crucial as the quality of the meal. I would definitely order from Tandoori Twist again.

The spicy lamb bow was really good and had a nice spicy kick to it. The lamb tasted flavorful and made my mouth feel warm but not too spicy. The mango lassi was thick, sweet, and refreshing, and it helped cool down the spice.

I tried tandoori twist for the first time tonight. I have to say I was really impressed with the overall ambience, and the food was very good! We ordered the paneer with rice and the lamb vindaloo. The flavors were on point. I will definitely be coming back. Next time I would like to try the wraps. Lastly, the service was very friendly and even though I placed my order on Uber pickup, I received my order in a very quick time.

I had a great experience at Tandoori Twist. The food is delicious and the price is right. Their customer service was on point and the cashier was very helpful in making a decision. Good food presentation with clean atmosphere.They also have Indian sodas which are great ( no high fructose corn syrup). Will definitely visit again.

Had the rice bowl with chicken — tikka sauce was super flavorful, not bland like most spots. Veggies on top gave it a good crunch. Actually felt like a proper meal, not just a pile of rice. Would definitely get it again.

This place is clean, delicious and the people who work here are really friendly! I moved here from Brooklyn and this is the best Indian food. I have tried since coming here! Really excited to have it close to home. The garlic naan is delicious and the sauces are too!

Stopped by Tandoori twist today for the soft opening, was greeted by friendly staff, food was Amazing!!! We got butter chicken rice bowl and a chicken tika wrap, for drinks a mango lasi ans well as a masala chai and all of it was delicious and portion size was large. We can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely amazing food and service fantastic! The paneer wrap was outstanding - perfectly spiced, soft, and full of flavor in every bite. You can really taste the freshness and quality. loved the pani puri, was so delicious and authentic, crispy, tangy, and bursting with flavor! It reminded me of real street-style taste. All foods were superb! Highly recommend if you’re craving for Indian food.

The food always tastes fresh and the execution of everything is on point. I’ve eaten here about half a dozen times since it opened and as long as the quality stays where it is I will be sure to return. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and open. I miss the coffee shop Sip This that was there and the record store slipped disc that was before that however this is a fantastic addition to this buildings legacy. The people who run the place are polite and the restrooms are clean. Best of luck to them and I hope you’ll give them a shot.

Such consistently good, fresh food! It’s become our new go to spot. It always smells so good in there. Very clean, delicious food, staff is very nice, good portions priced fairly. Service can be a little on the slow side, but it’s well worth the wait.
