Bellini's Counter

Stopped by the counter over the weekend & the staff was very accommodating to my food allergy. The 1959 was fantastic & the cutlets were to die for! Will be back :)

The beans and greens are amazingly delicious if you love red sauce greens. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing is so yummy too!

January 8, 2020 I stopped by Bellinis Counter and what was awaiting me inside was something special. This was my first time at this place. The meals that you can put together here is unreal. All I can say is delicious!!!

What a delicious meal and a great concept. Take your protein of choice and make a sub, a bowl, a salad or put it over pasta! Seems simple, so why doesn't everybody do this?!? Chicken sandwiches are awesome and all portions are impressive.

The employees here are amazing! The gentleman that helped me with my choices was so kind and patient. I got the large bowl cavatappi , with chicken, vodka sauce and veggies topped with cheese. Soo delicious!!

Went here for the first time today. Food was served very quickly. Got a "small" pasta bowl with linguine, meatballs, marinara and some romano cheese. The amount of pasta for what I paid was amazing. Was not expecting such a great portion. I don't think I could've even finished a large. The meatballs were delicious, I'm sure somebody's nonna is very proud. The marinara was great as well. Staff at the counter were super helpful, especially when I told them it was the first time I was there. They took the time to explain what options they had to offer. I definitely plan on going back again, can't wait to try the Canoli chips I saw.

Came in, and the people behind the counter were very helpful and explain to me how Kate, Chizi, Nya, Olivia, the process for ordering food works for the bowls or the wraps. i’ve never been here before. I loved how they all jumped into help me. very relaxing environment and I could tell the employees get along altogether. So important for Customer walking in to see. It makes it very inviting for me to sit down. Love how they help me , cause I gotta say because there were so many choices and selections. The food is excellent! i’m only here for a week for work and I’m so glad that I came across this gem here in Albany. I ate at a few sit down restaurants this week but so pricey, but I just didn’t want fast food! The price is very reasonable and the food so healthy , fresh and delicious!

The bowl I had was delicious & everything I asked for was met & exceeded. The greens & beans were a fantastic addition on top of my Alfredo & chicken bowl. I love that I can get this without an additional charge. The staff was also very helpful & friendly. I definitely will be returning!!

Just went to your location near Albany Medical. Wow! So impressive. The staff there was awesome. The bowl I ordered linguine, alfredo sauce, meatballs and sausage, and grill broccoli was delicious. So much so that I bought a similar bowl with grilled chicken and broccoli and brought it home to my wife and son. We live in Rochester. You guys should consider coming out towards the western side of the state. Thank you so much for a great dining experience. I will definitely be back when ever I'm in the area.

My neighbor and I went to the Stuyvesant Plaza location to grab lunch. This location has the most friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. The atmosphere is inviting, the environment is clean, and the food smells delicious. The manager checked us out. He and his staff are absolutely endearing and friendly. Great location!

First let me say that I've known about a place in Ohio called Piada before any Bellini's Counter ever existed, and I'm fairly confident the owners are also aware of this regional Ohio chain. Across the board, Piada is a 5 while Bellini's counter is a 4. It's good, and gets me my fix of this type of "Italian Street Food" in this area, but there is something missing and everything appears to just be "good enough". It's 75% of the way there, but they just need to put in a little more effort with the design and execution of the food and the spaces.

The last time I went I got the Mean Joe submarine sandwich. It had breaded chicken cutlets, peppadew peppers, spicy garlic Parm dressing which was amazing, shredded lettuce, gorgonzola cheese, and shredded carrots. The bread that it came on was very nice and flavorful. It had a nice crusty exterior with a soft amazing interior. The sandwich was enough to feed me for that meal and then I had the other half as leftovers a day later. Tasted just as good a day later.

Great service, great food. I got the 1/2 & 1/2, it was really good! I had mine with extra vodka sauce, sausage, meatballs, romano and parm cheese and rigatoni. The only thing I didn't care for about it was the meatballs, because they seemed a little too soft; like they were a little undercooked to me, but other than that the dish was amazing!!

Pretty good spot! I wish there was some more options for the salad toppings. I normally get the grilled Salmon and love it. The portion size is quite large as well. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat!

I have not had any issues with the food or service here. It's a great concept, basically a chipotle for pasta! I've been here twice during my stay in Albany and I'm hoping they eventually open up a location in NYC :) 1st order: Linguine fettuccine Alfredo with grilled salmon, alfredo sauce was a bit bland but nothing some red pepper flakes and salt couldn't fix. Salmon was a bit small and burnt... 2nd order: Penne alla vodka with chicken cutlet, got the pesto sauce on top and its AWESOME get the pesto! Best order yet :)

This is a nice enough lunch counter and has some upscale options that are hard to find in everyday locations. The grilled salmon was fresh and very tasty. The salad mix was mediocre, though it did seem like the healthiest possible choices including a few slices of Brussels sprouts. It seemed a little old, but not past date or anything. It seemed very like the mixes you get at grocery stores in sealed plastic bags. The citrus vinaigrette was cloying and sweet, I was not a fan, but I also ate the whole thing. Overall it was reasonable value for the money, but not great. A healthy option with nothing special about it. I wouldn't be upset to go again, but I wouldn't be excited either.

Probably the best "chipotle but pasta" style place I've been to. Their alfredo is really good. My only complaints are that sometimes the chicken is entirely burnt and the latest time I got the alfredo, there was a pool of olive oil on the bottom making it kind of unappetizing.

Food is always fresh and tastes great! The Customer Service is severely lacking. The Manager on duty the past two times was not friendly at all.. I did notice they had new tables. The old ones were always sticky!

Food is good. They get backed up quickly esp with online orders so your food sits on the counter waiting to be rung out. Also they need to clean the tables in the dining area.

Food was decent quality but not the best pricing. The atmosphere for the counter skewed more towards a college vibe. Service was not fast or the most friendly.

Have been going to this location since they opened. It used to be great but the last couple of visits the food sucked. The quality in terms of ingredients is about the same but the final prep is no good. I watched people who weren’t able to fold a wrap nor slice a sub roll. The employees are clearly not managed nor trained properly in food prep or customer service.

I am usually more than satisfied with this place. However, I was utterly disappointed this time around. To start, the shire size of the containers that the dressing for the salad comes seem to have shrunk! How funny is that! That was my favorite part about this place. Then, my pasta, which is usually covered in sauce, seemed to have little flavor on it. It also did not have a lot of vegetables at all, which I was looking forward to. Needless to say, I hope things change by the next time I order, cause I would hate to turn my shoulder on Bellinis counter.

Just picked up dinner. Veggies were half rotten. Not enough pasta. Sauce watery. 18 dollars and want to charge extra for more meat. I should have ordered a pizza. No bread? Italian food with no bread. My Italian friend would be mortified. Don't plan to service the place no time soon.

I ordered the Mean Joe and feel misled. The sandwich is supposed to be a chicken cutlet sandwich. What I received a few chunks of chicken, not cutlets and the sauce was bitter. I will not be ordering from here again.

I can't comment on Bellini's Counter at Stuyvesant Plaza's food because we never got it. I ordered at their website online and asked for a delivery of our order, and paid by credit card. After a reasonable amount of time, Door Dash arrived with someone else's order. I was told by Door Dash that they could not correct the problem because I had ordered through Bellini's website. So I called Bellini's Counter at Stuyvesant Plaza and they told me, oh yes, our order was right there on our counter. Probably mistakenly I hung up and returned to waiting for our food. An hour later, still no food. I called again and was told that our order was still sitting there on the counter. They told me it was Door Dash's fault and I would have to call them. I told Bellini's that I had already talked to Door Dash and they told me I would have to contact Bellini's. The person I was talking to said Door Dash had been unreliable for the past few weeks. I asked why they were doing business with someone who was unreliable, but they didn't have an answer. At this point I asked for my money back and was told that I would have to talk to the manager for that. I asked to talk to the manager and was told he was too busy. I told them I'd wait on the phone until he could talk to me and she told me I couldn't be allowed to tie up their phone for that long. So right now the whole family is starving and I'm still out $86 for our order. The manager is supposed to call me, but I doubt that he will. So I placed another order with Jaycee's Pizza in Voorheesville which always delivers promptly by people who work for them, and the food is always great. That will solve our hunger problem but right now I'm not sure how I'm going to get my money back from Bellini's. Should have stuck with Jaycee's in the first place.

We walked in to order food 10 mins before the place was due to close and the guy at the register who was cashing people out gave us a death stare like we were doing something wrong by coming in to get food. I mean I get the fact that they were about to close but still…your open until 8pm & to make people feel that uncomfortable and unwanted to simply order food is uncalled for. If your that miserable at your job and that mad over it then maybe you should figure something else out. Just saying.

I ordered mother bowl and asked to make it vegan which they agreed to. It had basil pesto and the ingredients on board listed “olive oil, basil and pesto” so I thought it was dairy free. The staff was clueless about vegan options even after asking about it. They even had a plant based options board in the front that they weren’t aware of. I realised the pesto sauce had dairy cheese in it while eating and the following night I had the worst stomach cramps of my life 😣😣😣 My college had a similar experience of food poisoning even though he ordered something different. They probably serve stale food. Extremely disappointed and don’t recommend this place to anyone- vegan or not!!

Can order a sandwich but no substitutions allowed. Ordered a chicken cutlet and they put less than 1/2 cutlet on all chopped up. $17 for 3 oz of chicken on a roll. Go to a real deli.
