Walked 🚶🏿‍♀️pass this spot so many times. Today was the day I gave it a shot. No regrets!!!! While indulging in Truffled Fries 🍟 someone walked up and asked “Can I ask you a question”my reply was “NO” while chewing the Truffle Fries and enjoying them. (Joking with the NO) The question was how are the fries or what made you come here?? My response was I come here, meaning the mall so many times and I have never tried this spot. This is German 🇩🇪 quality fries, freshly cut potatoes 🥔, cut daily and crafted with a variety of sauces. I was enjoying them and this was the owner. He spoke for moment offering the history and recommendations, listening to the facts of this business. The fries were really good. I will be returning and will be trying everything on the menu. Because I hadnt known that they offer adult beverages the owner provided a courtesy taste or ROSE. So please note they have food and beverages. Customer Service is GREAT. Food GREAT. Location GREAT. A total recommnedation.

We ordered schnitzel sandwiches and fries. Food was ready very fast, good size portion and tasted good. I really liked their special white sauce that came with fries.

The Atmosphere is great! The Staff is Very Friendly and gave suggestions to the great things on the menu since this is my first time ordering from here ! The French fries are AMAZINGGG !! Again the staff was very friendly 10/10 Coming back again !

Ashaneliz and tori (hopefully I’m spelling their names right) were amazing and super sweet! I couldn’t decide what to get and they suggested the no.5 and it was FIREEE !!! Idk how I never came by here before since I work in the market hall as well but deff coming back :) smelled so good i didn’t even have time to take a pic til i was halfway through 😭 so yum I ate that ish RIGHT UP

FOOD: the phrase tasted very good. My order was incredibly fresh right out of the fryer. I really enjoyed the size that I got for the price point. I got happy hour fries, which was a medium size with two sauces for only five dollars. The salt on the fries was very liberal and had flaky salt clusters. That tasted very good with the warm-up potato wedges. The fry cut was a fantastic American cut not the large British cut. I chose the curry, ketchup and aïoli as my two sides. The aïoli was buttery in Irby. Very tasty, but nothing spectacularly unique. I was very surprised by the curry ketchup. It had a delicious Tang that complimented the ketchup and the fry combination. SERVICE: unfortunately I had a bit of a back-and-forth with the attendant. I told him I wanted the$5 fries advertised on the display board with two sides. He told me that it was more than $5. I was confused. He said that the mini fries were $5 and included only one side. After an almost endless back and forth of me trying to understand why the price advertised was not the price quoted I finally read the sign to him and he said “oh you want the happy hour fries” heads up that this establishment will charge you for the regular price unless you specifically mention the words “happy hour”. ATMOSPHERE: I gave this place two stars for atmosphere, but to be fair there’s nothing wrong with the atmosphere. This is a small kiosk among many other food kiosks in a food hall. They decorated it with fake foliage and it looks fine from the outside, but this isn’t a place that you dine in or around it’s just a food court so there’s not much of an atmosphere for this food kiosk. Would I come here again?… Today I came because I was looking for a quick snack to enjoy and I didn’t wanna fall meal for the happy hour price point… Absolutely I’d come back now that I know what to explicitly tell the employee I want..

I was confused didn't know what I wanted to eat and saw someone eating some food that look so good. Of course I had to ask what they were eating and was directed to go Moritz. When I got there the employee was so helpful and explained to me what was the Loaded Fries and Chicken which I saw the lady eating. The employee said to me I know you are going to like it. And she said come back and tell me what you think. Well it was so good I ate some there and saved some for later...lol. Thanks for the recommendation when I'm back in BK, I definitely will be getting some more food. Delicious

Do not recommend. Ordered loaded fried with brat. More like unloaded. Just a few pieces of brat. Undercooked fries. Better options around.

I ordered Dutch fries without the remoulade and plain schnitzel sandwich. The service was great. The food a mixed bag. The dutch fries were likely fried four times instead of two. They were dry, hollow with the crunch of a potato chip. The schnitzel sandwich had good flavor but was visually unappealing because it seems to have been cooked in very dirty grease. I was also not keen on the gentleman mopping, then attending to the register and preparing food.

Close to $10 for a medium fries, however barely got any fries. Quantity is very low. Anyone can guess the cost of making fries, and the fact that they only give you 1/4 of the box is a joke. $10 wasted and really disappointed.

I went here on my lunch break because the market is close by. there is a girl working there that is extremely rude, impatient and loud. Needs training on how to interact with customers. Should be fired immediately. I asked what sauce is the most popular and got no answer, just a lot of sass. Saying she doesn’t eat fried food that wasn’t the question I asked Tuesday 8/12/25 at about 1pm this girl was working there with another guy. The guy was alright but I left immediately after the mannerisms and behaviors of the girl. Management needs to look into this

I’ve been here twice now, and both times my order was misheard. Most recently, I asked for truffle fries but received regular fries. When I mentioned the mistake, the employee (Mamadou) pointed to the receipt rather than just correcting it. Instead of making truffle fries, he added parmesan to the regular fries and handed them back, which wasn’t what I ordered. I didn’t want to argue, so I took them, but the interaction felt dismissive. The service overall felt unfriendly, and it seems like there may be a communication or customer service issue that could be improved. The food itself is decent, the chicken fingers are okay but bland and the truffle fries are great (the normal ones are bland), but the service experience both times has made it hard to want to return. Also it takes a very long time to get food because they make it essentially from scratch after you order it.

This is my second time getting fries here. The first time the fries were bad and it took forever to get them. After some time I decided to get fries again today and I waited more than 10 minutes for regular fries with nothing on, plus they were overdone. There was one customer waiting for her order and one person working. They have “fries” in the name. How difficult can it be? I eat regularly at different Dekalb Market vendors and I’m happy with the service and quality, but will not be making this mistake again.

The fries here are good! We ordered a the Dutch fries and sat for 20 minutes unattended before asking the server - he had forgotten our order. It took another 15 minutes to get our fries but he gave us a free drink. Definitely check in on your order regularly!
