Avis sur Taim Albee Square
I got the lamb/beef shawarma pita.... It was delicious. I skipped breakfast so this definitely hit the spot. Their ginger lemonade is also refreshing. Everything came out to $20 including tip
Sammy was awesome and hospitable! Taim was able to accommodate my gluten allergy with ease and the food was delicious! The establishment was clean! Highly recommend!
This review is for Samuel! First time here and he was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained the specials. His attitude is amongst the best and will be a great leader on that team! I witnessed his consistent positive atitude with everyone else. Will be back just because the environment was superb!
It's the best falafel in the city! I wish I lived closer to this place
I got take out and I usually order the Falafel Bowl, Falafel Pita sandwich or Fries the times I come here and they're so tasty! This location at 11 Hoyt St treats customers like family and the manager Miguel makes sure you are taken care of. I always feel welcome walking in here and I rather come to this location than go to the other ones where I don't feel as welcome. The ginger lemonade is so refreshing and really goes with any food item you order.
Soooo delicious. Food tastes fresh, well seasoned & it all goes so well together. The baklava was a m a z i n g. It had cinnamon and maybe nutmeg.. perfect! Miguel made are experience amazing & was very friendly
The general manager, Miguel is super friendly! The food is yummy and it’s always a great spot to stop in for a quick bite.
Food is delicious and freshly made. I love this place!
Food is fantastic and great service and food is outta this world
Miguel has a wonderful spirit. Friendly, engaging and excellent customer service. Food was good with decent portions but the 5 stars are especially for Miguel!
Update: They've hired new people and the improvements are huge! They're so friendly and always get my order right now. Updated my rating to five stars. I love Taim. I work in Time Square and get it for lunch over there a lot. I haven't been into the office much lately and had a Taim craving, so I got delivery. Wow, what a different experience. The serving size was laughable. I'm not a big eater by any means, I'm a petite female, but I was still hungry after. It's like they gave me a kids meal. They also dumped the sauces on top even though I asked for it on the side. Totally disappointed and won't recommend or go back to this location. 😔
Great, fast Mediterranean food. Very vegan friendly, lots of options! Also, the bowls have quite a lot of food. There’s also a lot of sauce options and the hummus is sooo good! We ordered there and it took 10 minutes.
The food is amazing and had great prices with great service
Such a welcoming experience for my first time ! The ginger mint lemonade and fries were soooooo good and I’m obsessed . Miguel was so welcoming and informative . I will definitely return
Their food is so so good; everything has so much flavor. My favorite is the Sabich pita - I am obsessed with the eggplant. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind. The seating is clean (order/pay at the counter)
Good quality, fast middle eastern food. The menu gives a lot of choices to customize your pita or bowl. The guy at the counter was very helpful in choosing items. Very friendly staff. The chicken shawarma pita I got was a lot of food for about $12. My wife's bowl with eggplant was excellent. Clean eat in area, but it is a fast food kind of place, not a place where one hangs around for a long time. Really good quality and price.
Received the best service from Shy a few weeks ago. So appreciate her amazing personality and hospitality! She made the experience and we were so grateful. In addition, the food was delicious! I would like to see a tad healthier options (like using quality oils in the food), but I chose to dine here knowing what is used so I can’t take away a star for that. Overall, great experience!
My lady and I built our own plates, everything tastes well done, the service was the best part of this experience, food was handed at table and with a gift of something called baklava, Miguel even warned about possible food allergies and that’s well appreciated! I’ll be coming back to this location exclusively
10/10 service. 10/10 food. Everything about this place is amazing!!! The supervisor is also great!!!
Great fresh food and the woman who runs the counter went above and beyond to help customers! Edit 5>3 stars : this place has gone downhill. Not sure what changed exactly except everything is smaller and not quite as good as it was 6 months ago. Carrots are small cubes chicken wasn’t as fresh, pita seems store bought, no kiosks for ordering something has changed. Service is still great.
Oh wow! My mind was blown! Falafel bowl with all the things - lemon mint vinaigrette! It tasted as fresh, bright and delicious as it looks! Miguel was very kind - everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!
Everything here tastes incredibly fresh, great diverse addition to the neighborhood as it is mostly pizza and deli shops around. Ive tried falafel, chicken shawarma, meatball & eggplant. Everything is seasoned well and balance of flavors from all of the toppings are great. You'll be garunteed to leave happy with a tasty & nutritious meal. So glad one of these opened up near my job!
Love this new Taïm location in the downtown Brooklyn area. Their falafel bowls are just perfect! This place has good seating options for dining in, or you can just do takeout. Go check it out!
Yo, Raven is the bomb! I had an issue last wk w a delivery order that never came and they handled the issue smoothly, professionally and most of all friendly! They also comped some of my food here tonight for the trouble - Rockstar service! The food here is really good as well, recommend the meatballs and the fries!! (But maybe don't get the fries delivered lol)
It's good place to have a simple meal in Downtown Brooklyn. The roasted cauliflower and falafel are my favorites.
Absolutely delicious food and a reasonable price for such a complete meal! My boyfriend and I come here regularly for and affordable and (mostly) healthy dinner & lunch. Both the customizable bowls and pitas ate so tasty and being able to select exactly what you want endures there is something for everyone. The falafels, tender chicken shwarma, and beef meatballs are some of our favorites. The creamy humus is truly a must try. And the fries…I will always sing their praises. Wouldn’t change a thing and with sauces like saffron aioli and harissa ketchup take them to the next level. It’s safe to say we’re obsessed with Taïm. Also do yourself a favor and get the pickles so so so good.
Best falafels I’ve ever had anywhere except other Taim locations. They come in two tasty flavors and they let you do half and half. They are ideally eaten hot out of the oven. Yum. The tasty mint lemonade is a perfect pair.

The food was delicious and hearty portions, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was great! Sammy was very helpful and accommodating. Took my parents here and they couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. Would highly recommend.
Food was delicious and fresh. Very clean restaurant and very friendly staff. Fast service. Definitely will return
I got two different wraps, one for me and one for my husband. It was supper easy to order and the staff was friendly and quick. The wraps they sell are pretty affordable for what you’re getting (it was called a Lavash). Anyway, it was really tasty! I got one chicken and one beef/lamb mix. Also, I liked that the place seemed clean as a lot of fast food type places seem like they may have just cleaned up when they knew the health inspector was coming. I will be ordering it again.

Food is good but for some reason when you order online, they upcharge by $3 per entree. If you purchase in store on their kiosks, it's a lot cheaper. Also they've screwed up my order before and left out falafels, so I would double check your order before leaving if you're doing pickup. See the menu photos for price difference. Even the premium toppings have an upcharge online.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.

The choices have switched up bit. Don't fix something that isn't broke. O doubt i will be going in much. You can't top the bowls with fries, the portion used to be to the top of the bowl. It's barely to the middle. I had to search for the rice in the bowl. Everything i requested the cashier was nodding in no. They don't do that anymore. Sometimes folks will pay for what they want. However when you take the option away, you lose the consumers. Oh well that's that.
Am very disappointed and unsatisfied with my order. Ordered thru GrubHub for delivery. My bowl was supposed to have falafel and shawarma cauliflower as mains but all I got were the vegetables with the salad base and too much sauce which made the salad soggy. This was supposed to be my dinner but because no one checked the order for the mistake, I got a soggy salad and am still hungry. DO BETTER!
Average experience for this area when there are better options. The only exception would be the falafel balls which were the best that I’ve ever had with excellent soft texture and crispy edges. The og chicken bowl had really plain and unseasoned rice and portions were way weak. Naya is close by, has much better price flavor quality and ambience and doesn’t ask for tips. They’re the main reason for the low review tbh.

This used to be great but portions went down significantly recently. Also my order was messed up twice now, wrong ingredient, and missing dressing completely. I like Taim lately due to allergies but this is making me nervous when staff are constantly messing up the ingredients.
Have only gotten their free bday pita. Not as good as Cava - Beef and lamb shawarma pita: Meat is yummy and lots of filling

Food has gone downhill as Taim has grown, but this location is the worst of the bunch. Bland, flavorless meats, hummus that is indistinguishable from its tahini, an inability to follow customer instructions related to offering side sauces like amba or szhug for their bland, dry chicken. I like Taim overall and there are better locations, but steer clear of this one at all costs.
Ordered through DoorDash and the main entrée cost around 30$. Only problem is the main protein was missing. Good was actually really good, just go there in person to ensure you get what you pay for.
Hope they read their reviews - great food. Been eating their food since they were just one shop in west village. Always good. But now that they are a big chain all over the city, they always change their menu, remove items and options to reduce the value of their meals. Wish they would stop being so cheap and give us a nice plate of food at a reasonable price. 15 dollar falafel is a joke. Throw some hummus on there for free Jesus. Good food but I can’t stand being taken advantage of and upcharged for every little thing, or items that were included being removed for the same price, smaller portions, etc. so they may lose a customer soon. Used to get four sauce options…now only three. I mean come on. Give us the four sauces. They have been in business forever. Figure out the menu and leave it so your return customers know what to expect. If you ordered from here before and are planning to do it again-don’t expect the same thing.

9/21 at 2 pm my wife made a Togo order on the app, then waited inside the store while no one else came in, 20 minutes she waited then they made the guy after her order first. They did apologize but this shouldn’t happen. No one should wait 25 minutes while people hang out and talk. Also a random very young kid watching tv in her insanely loud. Make sure when you arrive if you are picking up a to go order, you go to the counter and announce that you’re here expecting it or you may be waiting for a very long time
Food took forever, then when it was served it was the most incoherent slop I’ve ever had. I was there a bit late so maybe they ran out of ingredients but my shawarma was basically just hummus and really old fries that didn’t even look like fries. It was pretty disgusting. Added one star back because the people were nice but literally worst meal I’ve had in NYC.

Was craving Mediterranean food and decided to order delivery from this place. Unfortunately, half my meal was missing. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but no one answered. Really disappointing experience and terrible service.
Used to be good but the last couple of times I’ve ordered from here have been plagued with delivery and readiness issues. Ever since they expanded the experience has been bad.
I just got a delivery from here. I have eaten at this place numerous times as the food is really good.. this time I placed an order for a bowl and wanted romaine and some rice as the base. Half of the bowl was just hummus and garlic.. so I paid $20 for half a bowl of hummus and I’m still hungry..do better. This was ridiculous
