Yummy crepes. Try the hot chocolate too! The only downside is limited seating.
Greatest little café in Brooklyn! Oh no, secret is now out! But rest assured the sweet staff will easily handle the mid day rush as they did this past Saturday. ☕️
This place is cozy as hell, and the service is always amazing; the title of sweet isn't just for the food! The owner is an absolute sweet heart himself. He's always happy to rush to the register to take care of customers so his staff isn't overwhelmed, he offers fresh baked goods he and his wife make, as free samples, and he's always in good spirits. I love this place. I always try to get something with fruit jam when I'm by, but their herby cookies are top notch too, its so hard to choose
The Little Sweet Cafe is a true hidden gem. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and staff personally, and each interaction has been a genuinely delightful experience. Their dedication to creating a welcoming space and providing top-notch service is evident in every detail. The ambiance here is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or a leisurely meal, The Little Sweet Cafe offers a relaxed setting ideal for unwinding and enjoying a friendly conversation. The quality of the food and drinks is exceptional, with every dish made with care and attention. If you're looking for a spot that combines quality, comfort, and great company, I can't recommend The Little Sweet Cafe highly enough. It’s truly the perfect place to recharge and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
Lovely café and people! The atmosphere is beautiful and food incredible! Fully recommended
The best gluten free crepes I’ve ever had! Both savory and sweet options were absolutely delicious. And the most thoughtful, wonderful staff who helped facilitate a little birthday surprise for us <3
Great sandwiches and crepes, very small place but the vibe was amazing
The owner was so kind and friendly. Was a delicious, savory brunch with cappucinos so delicious, I had to take one to go!
I have never been happier to be asked to put my laptop away. The Little Sweet Cafe has such a great sense of aesthetic and taste that, while I did come there to work, I was happy to take time out of my day just to appreciate this place's vibe. Fantastic lattes & cappuccinos, and arguably the best shakshuka I've ever had. Happy to call this place my new go-to coffee shop.
Beautifully cute cafe. They have a lot of food they make fresh for you like omelettes. Seating is a little sparse but have yet to see it extremely crowded. My favorite drink there is a chai latte with oat milk (they have other milk substitutes if you want). They also have a reward card if you decide to go back regularly.
We visited TLSC on our last trip to Brooklyn and we were determined to visit again on our most recent. Each time we passed it by, it was packed. But, finally we happened by when a table was available. Everything we ordered was lovely. Berry and cinnamon crepes, a latte, and shakshauka. This time, the owner was present and offered us samples of decadent banana bread and blueberry muffin. We left with a croissant and tahini-chocolate chip cookies. Make time to visit this gem, but make sure to have a backup plan as they do not have many tables. Good weather doubles their space as they seat on the sidewalk.
Amazing little spot tucked away with phenomenal food options, beautiful atmosphere, and incredible coffee. Refreshing to see people tending to their craft and making it top notch! This is not your average spot, if you enjoy true quality food and charm, make sure to stop in!
Went to this cade as a last resort and it became a first resort during our NYC stay. Amazing!
Really charming little cafe! I got a hot chocolate and it was delicious.
Lovely café, good coffee and breakfast and really relaxing ambience. We loved it!
Since moving to the neighborhood this is our favorite place. The curry crepe is a MUST, and quality has not changed we have ordered many times. The salmon is runner up. We also love the strawberry salad. Sitting inside or out the service is impeccable, everyone is always friendly. The owner is always there which is a testament to how much he cares. He’s either washing the windows, interacting with customers or doing heavy lifting in the kitchen. Even though it’s small there is always a seat available. Really a gem.
If you’re looking for a quiet little nook for a quick bite, this cafe is perfect. The menu is simple and delicious. It’s advised to come on a weekday because weekends can be busy. The cafe seating can be limited for large crowds. Overall, the staff is very friendly and the environment is super chill. I would advise getting their fresh smoothie with any sandwich on their menu.
3 of us had Tuna & Chicken sandwich & a Salmon savory crepe. All were delicious!! Large portions. Service very friendly & efficient. Would highly recommend!!
I could have spent the whole morning here. Amazing coffee, food, and atmosphere. I love the no computer rule - it sets this special little place apart.
Adorable spot with delicious (yet pricey!) crepes. Honestly, the Mixed Berry crepe with a lemon crepe base was the best crepe I’ve ever had and I think about it often so not complaining about the $30+ I spent on weekday breakfast. Definitely worth stopping in! I saw they have mimosas so may need to come by on the weekend next time.
BEST gluten free crepes ever. Amazing service. Great dirty chai latte. Absolute must go !!!
Literally a sweet, little cafe with lovely staff, delicious scones and coffee. The comfort of a little local in NYC!
This place is true to its name! The crêpes are a real treat! Staff is super nice as well
If I can give it 1000 stars I will. From the atmosphere to the drink, they are all perfect. They have the bathroom as well. This place is the place. Perioddddfd Just one thing if I can ask, can you guys upgrade an extra option for us to order a bigger chai tea cup? Your chai tea taste amazingggg
What a gem!! This truly little sweet cafe has delicious food, hip bevvies and best of all a no-laptop policy! The whole vibe reminded me of Paris - probably because I love a good crepe:)
What a lovely little gem in Brooklyn. This café is a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city and is such a cute little neighborhood haunt with a cozy feel. Unlike many coffee shops that double up as offices, the space is designed with a lot of intentionality and details—plants galore, a beautiful sidewalk seating area that will make your forget you’re in NYC, a solid kitchen crew that cooks everything with love, and a super friendly barista staff that goes out of their way to accommodate. The space, while small, also doubles up as a restaurant and has delightful sweet and savory crepes with Persian spices and unique combos not found in more fast-food centric coffee shops. The roasted chicken crepe and shakshuka are delectable. Everything I’ve tried here tastes extremely fresh and you’ll often find the owners breezing through to stock up on locally sourced groceries through the day. On a hot day, their frothy chai, iced cappuccino, and ceremonial grade matcha are among some of my faves. A favorite amongst neighborhood locals.
Cute little place. Very Instagram friendly. No computers allowed so don’t expect to come work. Food is a bit pricey but I think the quality makes up for it, and it’s New York so of course it’s going to be more. I got the chai latte and it was the best I’ve had in a LONG time. Giving 5 stars literally for the chai😂
Perfectly named. It is little and it is sweet. This Cafe has excellent food. The savory and sweet pastries are incredible so are the Crepes and quiches. They also serve wine, mimosas, and beer. It's a little tight when it gets crowded. But besides that I can't say enough great things about this place. Give it a try. Oh- and the blueberry muffins!! Yes, blueberry muffins are at every bakery. But they are hands down the best here.
I went here in my stay in New York and it really surprised me. The place is accesible, very cute and pretty. The food was exactly what I wanted. I had never had such good crepes. The scones are excellent.
I always try to be honest in my reviews, and I wanted to share my experience from this past Sunday. The food and the atmosphere were great, but what truly made my visit special was the barista, Veronika. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, and it made the whole experience so much better. I’m saying this because I’ve worked in a coffee shop myself, and I can tell when someone is doing their job well. Unfortunately, I’ve visited on other days when different staff members were working, and I can’t say the same about them. They didn’t even smile, and I didn’t feel welcomed at all during those visits.
This place reminds me of an East Village gem in the heart of Brooklyn. The decor is super charming, the staff was lovely, and the food great. We had two smoked ham crepes which were delectable. The Parmesan cream cheese mix is really what puts them over. We also ordered two iced mocha coffee‘s which are some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this visit.
BEST CREPES and a delicious latte. At first we didn’t love the prices, but it was worth every penny. We really loved this cafe. The people inside were welcoming. I’d note, it’s definitely a lil tight/cozy in there. Not a place to just hang around.. eat, drink and move on so they can fit in the next customers!
I'm a coffee taster who writes reviews on coffeeshops for a coffee magazine. My experience in The Little Sweet Cafe was fabulous! Masoud, the owner is very professional and friendly. He gave me a full tour of the cafe and showed me how he makes espresso. The espresso is just perfect. What I really liked about it was the balanced sweet-bitter-sour taste of my espresso. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back.
I've been meaning to try this café for the longest time, but it's always closed by the time I leave work (they need to update their late hours)! Cute quaint place, lives up to its name! There's a sign that says patrons are only allowed to stay 45 minutes due to its size, but I'm pretty sure if it's not busy, they won't kick you out. Also, there is a clear sign about no laptops. I went on a Thursday afternoon, and there were only two folks using outdoor seating. I ordered a lemon crepe and dirty chai latte. The employee who rang me up was patient when it took me several tries to pay with my phone. She brought my food and drink to my table. I enjoyed both items. Great place to sit in to just unwind and admire the decor. Feels like a European oasis from the chaotic traffic just a few blocks away!
This little cafe was the highlight of our trip to NYC. We even came back the second day for seconds, I couldn’t pass it up. The strawberry nutella crepe was so delicious and the hot chocolate paired even better with it. I would 100% pay the prices for these items again. And the inside and outside of this place was so cozy and adorable.
The most charming little cafe in all of Brooklyn. You feel transported from the moment you step in the door. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I love the crepes, salads and sandwiches. Give yourself a break from the hustle and go treat yourself to a crepe. You won't regret it.
Good coffee and banana bread. Atmosphere is very nice, good to discuss or read a book (with some background music).
We had a lovely brunch. The food was beautiful, especially the olive bread was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server was incredibly sweet, so kind and welcoming.
I loved the decor and vibe of this cafe. The crepe was delicious, just a little pricey. Service was courteous and didn't take long at all! The pumpkin spice chai is delightful, also heavier on the milk than the pumpkin. What a treat.
Tucked away on a quiet corner, this little café is nothing short of magical. From the moment you push open the door, you're enveloped by the irresistible aroma of freshly ground coffee and warm, buttery pastries straight from the oven. The interior feels like a hug — soft lighting, mismatched vintage chairs, plants spilling over every shelf, and jazz humming gently in the background. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes the world outside feel a little less rushed.
What a great little cafe. We were in town for work and on our last day we wanted to get a bit of breakfast. This cafe didn’t disappoint! We shared a ham and cheese croissant and the lemon poppy seed vegan muffin. We sand inside and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Stop in and give them a try.
The Little Sweet Cafe was a great experience each time I’ve been. It is small (hence the name) but with great lighting from the large windows. Limited space and intimate seating. The crepes, both savory and sweet, are great. Strawberry Nutella, salmon, curry chicken, roasted chicken all delicious. Serving staff seem a little stressed from the little space and keeping timed seating enforced but do a fine job serving.
The Little Sweet Cafe is simply lovely! The food is exquisite!!! The baked goodies are homemade and melt in your mouth! The coffee, amazingly good as well! Collectively, 10 out of 10!!! We chatted with the owner for a few, which we enjoyed; come to find out he makes many of the delectable desserts! Check this charming cafe out! You won’t be disappointed!
The little sweet cafe was such a cute and tiny coffee shop. We had the strawberry and Nutella crêpe and it was excellent! We also ordered a vanilla lavender latte as well as a vanilla latte and both were very good. I just like sitting in this place for a little bit. And take taking a minute to eat a snack and have a coffee. The place was relatively clean, but part of the allure was it having some cute pictures and knickknacks. The customer service was excellent and our server was great. There is seating indoors and they do have a sign up about time limits if there are others waiting. They also have a sign up about no computers in the coffee shop. Makes sense since it’s so small and has limited seating. Overall, a thumbs up.
Love the Nova Salmon Savory Crepe! The ingredients taste very fresh and the combination was perfect (delicious!). Also, we had the Sweet Lemon Crepe the flavor was very good but not very filling. We order two cappuccino they were amazing! They have pastries. The place is cute, cozy & small! Love the atmosphere in here! There is a few indoor seating. All the staff are very friendly!
This is a germ in Brooklyn. Although you're only allowed to stay for a few hours (~2 hours I believe) due to their limited indoor seating space, their coffee, food, and service are above and beyond and definitely worthy for your visit!! We had two iced latte , Almond croissant, Florentine Crepe, and Strawberry Nutella Crepe. All of them are delicious!! We just hoped the serving size can be larger. Highly recommended!
I recently stumbled upon this charming little coffee shop and was immediately captivated by its quaint French ambiance. The cozy, intimate atmosphere exudes a distinct Parisian charm, making it a delightful spot to savor a leisurely cup of coffee. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional quality of its crêpes. The delicate, paper-thin pancakes are expertly crafted and filled with a variety of delectable sweet and savory ingredients. The friendly staff and the attention to detail in the presentation of both the crêpes and the coffee further enhanced the overall experience.
I’ve been wanting to visit @thelittlesweetcafe since I moved around there. I finally did and liked it a lot! The almond croissant was pretty dense and very filling. The cappuccino was not too milky but allowed me to taste the bitterness of the espresso which I like. Also the decor and vibes are just so cute!
Finally stopped in here for a coffee and pastry the other day, after passing it dozens of times in the past and thinking to myself “now isn’t that just the cutest, little sweet case you ever saw”. Well it definitely was giving all the cozy-feels and it felt comfortable to hangout for bit.
Very nice and quiet place. I was able to meet the owner since he was working on my own creation himself. The cashier was very polite and cute. And when you come here. Do NOT expect a cheap quick grab and go sandwich. When you come here, you are paying for art LITERALLY. I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich. And wow… I was blown away at the first bite. Chicken was fantastic, roasted tomatoes where amazing AND DONT EVEN START ON THE PESTO. It’s the best I have ever had in my life. They also give out free lemon water if needed. And I know that if they keep like this they will grow 10x. If I could only have one comment it would be that the pricing is on the more expense side. Every sandwich is 20 dollars more or less. I went by myself, but if I was to go with family or friends, you could easily slip and pay 100+ for 4 people. Furthermore besides that it was the pure love. Everything from the micromanaging that every bite had tomato’s and pesto sauce was all over my hands. I would 100% come back again. Loved it
Super cute tinyyyy coffee shop. Has a great mocha that isn’t too sweet. Beware they are a no computer cafe all the time, not just peak times.
Very nice and decorated cafe. A lot of signs saying that no computers allowed, which was originally the only reason I stopped by. $5 credit card minimum so I bought the next cheapest thing on the menu. Tea and cake were fine, nothing special. The menu does seem to have actual lunch options, so maybe that is better than just their snacks.
Stopped by this charming little cafe and tried the Nutella crepe and a matcha with lavender cold foam. The crepe was delicious—perfectly warm and gooey—but the matcha fell a bit short of expectations in terms of flavor. That said, the experience was made special by the incredibly friendly staff. They not only offered great food suggestions around New York but also made for a lovely chat. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the city!
Indeed a cute lil sweet cafe! The ambiance was so cozy and perfect for a weekend snack. We got a savory crepe and loved it, the dough texture was 100% perfect. The drinks were ok though, cortado sort of average and the pumpkin chai latte was so extremely sweet that I couldn’t drink it and they ended up making me another drink free of charge, which was nice of them
Thé chai latte is delicious, different from other cafes. Unfortunately, the to go cup it comes in leaks like CRAZY. I had to go back to get some napkins and a straw. I told the woman who worked there and she said unfortunately that’s how the cups have been working. I never had issues with the sippy-styled cups before but it also defeats the purpose of using them if I’m just gonna end up using a straw. On top of that, it leaked all over my white shirt. For a $7 drink just to leak all over me… Not sure I would come back.
Sunday morning- Very crowded, so be prepared for very poor service if you plan on eating there. We ordered food and coffee- coffee was served in a take away cup. Didn’t like it at all- not the cafe experience. I asked why not a ceramic cup and she said they were out! For a place with literally 8-10 tables for eat in, they don’t have that many cups?? I ordered a chai latte, which they said they would bring to our table. I asked after 15 min after I saw people around who arrived later were getting their food, my latte was brought then. Had probably been sitting on the counter the whole time as it came at room temperature, not hot as requested. They brought me a new one after I complained. Food was good- very good crepes.
The Persian sandwich and Chai latte were excellent, the crepe was fine, the banana bread was average at best. All are about 20% more expensive than you would expect, especially because they don't offer table service. The tip screen defaults to 18%+. About 2/3 through our meal, my 3 year old had to go the bathroom, 5 minutes later we got back to the table and they had cleared our unfinished plates and unfinished coffee away. They did not offer replacements or any sort of consideration. Cute place, but too crowded on a Saturday at noon and too expensive, won't go out of my way to go back.
Little, this cafe most certainly is, but it adds to its considerable charm. I’ve been by a couple of time and the staff have always been very warm and welcoming. This most recent visit I was able to snag one of their limited tables. They a couple of signs up, asking customers to limit their time spent at a table to 45 minutes to accommodate others. Makes sense. At one point m, well within my 45min window, it did start to fill up and get busy. But the rush passed quickly and mostly I was the only customer present with maybe one other at a time. The owner of the cafe kept moving the sign so it was closer and closer to me and at one point even approached my table, pointing to the sign and asking for me to leave. I asked him if I was keeping the table from anyone else (I was the only customer at this point) and he threw up his hands and yelled “I knew you were going to say that!”. I do try to be conscious of others and was prepared to leave if more people came in but it was very apparent that he simply wanted me out. How unprofessional and inhospitable. While little it may be, sweet is not a word I would use to describe this cafe.
It was good but very crammed and very expensive. Menu was also small. It doesn't seem practical to visit here for a daily coffee and also there's not enough variety for me to come here now and then for food
The coffee is irving farm, which is a grocery store brand. The milk was frothed terribly, the worst I’ve seen in NYC. The seating area is nice.
Staff is great and atmosphere was cute until owner showed up. he was very rude and passive aggressive, made us feel very anxious - 45 minutes limit to wait and eat a FULL meal (where each item is $20+) is ridiculous . there were other customers who had been here just long but he didn't direct his snide comments toward them. feels antithetical to the point of a cafe
Came here for breakfast, prices are too high for the portion size and food quality (Sandwich/Shakshuka). We both had stomach problems afterwards, which probably is related to us not being used to American Food. Otherwise the service was very nice and the atmosphere great!
I went lo this place because of the pictures on Google. I was a bit a dissapointed with service. I asked questions and they weren’t too nice. I asked for a Savory Crepe and requested eggs to be well done. They came runny, which I hate. When I complained they told me that eggs were already prepared like that. Would’ve appreciated to br told that before ordering. Table outside right in the sidewalk is super uncomfortable; people hits you when they pass, table is unstable and thanks to that I spilled my coffee. Too pricy for what it is. Decoration and ambiance is beautifull, though.
This cafe owner HATES dogs. Don’t come with your dog even to sit outside. If you’re lucky and he is not around, sure. If the owner is there, he will glare at you and your dog until you leave. Perfect cafe for animal haters and lovers of soggy crepes. Fine, it’s better than Bijan’s. Bijan will make you cry with how bad the food is, hence two stars for this spot.
I am a usual and love this place. On Saturdays I come for about 30min to have a coffee while my daughter is at ballet. All the tables were completely empty and I got the warning that I had to be seated for a maximum of 45min. I understand the policy, but it pissed me off that I was not only not planning to be there for more than 45min, but only right before I left one more table got filled. They should have only told me if I reach the time and they need the table for someone else
Came here for a very special celebration, loved the ambiance from the online photos. on our part we didn’t realize how small the place was in the photos. We also didn’t realize there was a time limit. The staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The prices were way too high for the small portion sizes and the quality of food. Do not recommend coming here there are way better places in Brooklyn.
Didn’t bother to try the crepes because the service was so horrible. Placed an order for dine in, and the only available seating was outdoor seating. We were with a little one and asked to switch the order to take out as the temperature drastically dropped while waiting for the order. While asking for the change, a staff member sighed, grumbled a bit and stated that the “order was already on the plate, and directed someone to hurry up and put it as take out before they change their minds again.” I looked at him confused and explained that we had a little one with us and it’s a bit chilly but he just turned away.
