Avis sur Cafe @ McNally Jackson Seaport Albee Square
This is always a great place to stop. They have good coffee and love all the book selections upstairs. Great seating too.
Quaint little cafe connected to the bookstore next door. No wifi, but you can connect to public wifi for reasonable speeds enough for some work. It's a bit pricey, but the location is super nice with lots of things to check out nearby. The staff are nice and the atmosphere is cozy. Apple spice tea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: has a bit of sweet apple-y taste, but I wish the spice was a bit stronger. Peach ginger ⭐️⭐️⭐️: a bit on the bland side for me. Wish the peach and ginger were more pronounced.
Love this spot. Great baristas. The pastries and coffees are delightful, and I loved exploring the books upstairs.
I love love love this bookstore! It is absolutely beautiful, cute and has an amazing book selection. This location especially is always giving me this nostalgic cozy feeling. The staff is super friendly and there is always just the loviest people browsing. Could spend all day there
NoooooooooOoOoOOoOoOoOoOooooOOoOoOo99…. Please don’t send me back to book club bar.

Was amazing when it was still here! FYI the cafe is now gone and is just used as an expansion of the bookstore
This place is so lovely. Such a great place to hang out and chat or work. The vibes are excellent and the barista was so, so kind. Will definitely come back :)
Cute spot to work / browse for books! Laptops allowed downstairs. No wifi but there’s a public network that works. Lots of cute spots in the library to read
This is my favorite McNally Jackson spot so far! 🌟
This my absolute favorite place to visit and do work - mainly because the staff is so nice. Lately, I feel like service in most places is not interested in customers or working, but here I am always remembered and welcomed. I also enjoy that employees of the café seem interested in reading and talking about literature. This makes the experience of the book store and café cohesive and brings value to each. This café is not necessarily in my neighborhood, but I take the extra time to go here because of the service.
Great aura. Open late for NYC. The coffee shop has great vibes and it’s in a bookstore so you can just browse and browse and then chill in the coffee shop for a while. Comfortable seating. This neighborhood is nice to walk in too and it’s right by the pier.

Pastry is basic, but the free wifi and comfortable seats are nice. Great for a rainy day.

Great little coffee shop nestled into the bookstore, love working here, no WiFi but there is the public one you can connect to. Love being in a place where books about and you can work and enjoy the peace of the seaport! The smell of books as well is unbeatable.

Lovely atmosphere and great book selection, but limited seating. Upstairs seating allows only reading but no laptops, notebooks, or iPads—totally fine policy, but communication about it was poor and a bit rude

Really cute spot which had great potential, but extremely rude service from one particular lady who is there a lot and seems to be making other employee as toxic as herself. This used to be my favorite spot, at my favorite book store. Not anymore, and it makes me really sad.
nice bookstore but they kicked me out for working for too long

Ordered 'Matcha' latte which is just a milk having match-like color. Politely asked to add some more powder but they said no. Save your money-and your taste buds😹

As others have mentioned, this excellent bookstore is ruined by the cafe’s deeply rude staff. It’s honestly shocking, and is clearly an ongoing problem. This does not apply to the bookstore staff, who are lovely and helpful.
I came into this place to study and brought coffee from another place. I was rudely screamed at to leave. If I were to have been told more nicely, I would not be upset. There should be a sign on the door that clearly states no outside food or drinks are allowed. Completely unacceptable.
The staff is extremely rude, it was shocking to see how they’re even allowed to treat customers like this. The food was not good whatsoever, especially for the price. It was extremely bland. The service is really completely unacceptable, they need to train their staff on how to properly interact with people.
Extraordinarily rude staff. There’s a rule about where drinks are allowed and this is not made clear in signage etc. I head upstairs and I’m rudely told by a staff member to get a to go cup. When I ordered, no one mentioned the rule either. I’m an adult, you’re an adult. There’s really no need for demanding, nasty tones etc. If you haven’t been to the space, you would assume as I have that upstairs is also filled with seating to sip your coffee, etc. I was otherwise really tickled by the space but I won’t be returning.
