Avis sur Cafe Integral Albee Square
Elegant, modern, and casual coffee shop with high quality specialty coffee from Nicaragua. They serve delicious coffees ranging from light to medium roasts. Love that they have a pourover option on the menu. Daily brew drip coffee was phenomenal: a fruity light roast with citrusy zest and chocolate undertones. You’ll want to get the coffee to stay: they serve the drinks in beautiful ceramic ware. Some variety of seating in the space. Drip coffee score: 4.75/5. Everything else score: 4/5. Overall score: 4.5/5.
I randomly stopped by Café Integral for some laptop work with a coffee and a pastry, and loved it! Nice and bright space with friendly staff, but most importantly, my black drip was strong and the danish delicious. Definitely check it out to support small, local independents! Bonus points on the Nicaraguan beans! 10/10 see ya soon :)
Cafe Integral offers a distinctly different taste to other coffee shops. The espresso blend has a mustiness despite maintaining good acidity. I liked it in the milk based blends but the Americano was a little too unique for me. The pourover is also delicious. I would skip most of the pastries.
Cozy cafe on the border of Nolita and Chinatown. I ordered and simple drip coffee with milk. Delicious, and not overpriced. I also got the fig danish from Balthazar. Super yummy. Was able to sit and do some work on my laptop, as well as enjoy people walk by out front.
This coffee is awsome! My favourite in NY, really delicious. Also, what I find even more fantastic from Café Integral is that the make their own plant based milk!!! Almond, coconut... I have tried here the capuccino and the latte in coconut milk. I tried also the decaf coffee and is awsome too. Even more awsome: they allow laptops and have wifi!!!
Walking in a hot muggy afternoon in China town and starting to wonder if I could find a decent cup of coffee for my afternoon shot of caffeine? Thanks to Google maps I decided to take a “shot” at Cafe Integral. The young man behind the counter patiently understood what I wanted and literally made a PERFECT iced macchiato which I truly enjoyed!
All my friends who are coffee snobs have talked about or recommended Café Integral to me. I'm more of a black coffee guy personally, so don't feel the need to go out of my way for a cup but in the same breath, I'm always down for a plot. I knew it was time to try it when my friend, who doesn't even drink coffee, was dying to go. He does have great taste in damn near everything though, I gotta give him that. That's why he is the big homie. We walked into Café Integral and I was shocked by the no frills environment. "No frills" is so overused, I hate myself for even writing that but that's really what it was. Boxes of Mexican Coke, togo cups, and other items necessary to run a business are scattered in the interior. For some reason, it adds to the charm. It's not dirty, it's just that they are utilizing the space to run a business. They are just here to make great coffee and don't care if the interior isn't ultra curated. I ordered a black coffee and a croissant, as I find these are the best 2 items to see what a coffee shop is really about. You can't hide anything. Things took a turn for the worst when I realized the croissant was from Balthazaar. The Balthazaar pastry fall off needs to be studied. C&B in Alphabet City still makes the best croissants in NYC, I don't even care. I do need to take responsibility though because I should have got the orange olive oil muffin instead of the croissant. It was speaking to my spirit, and I didn't listen. I bet it goes SO crazy. After stomaching the mid croissant because I'm a Croatian Warrior, the black coffee saved the day. I really can taste the difference between a good and bad black coffee at this point, and this one just tasted fresh. It made me happy. It warmed my soul. My buddy got "the Olivia" which consists of espresso, house made almond milk, cinnamon, and dates. It's also ironic because his ex-girlfrie... nvm. The house made almond milk was a huge selling point for him, which is kinda tight tbh. I tried the tiny little drink that was MAYBE 8oz, and it actually was sensational… I might get it next time when I come back for that orange olive oil muffin... IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
This place is a must try for delicious Nicaraguan coffee. It is a true respite from the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. I got the daily brew with coconut milk and took an iced latte with almond milk to go for my friend. They have comfortable seating, and coffee beans and bottled cold brew for sale as well. I saw some gluten-free baked goods, too! No bathroom though, sadly.
I came here in the morning on a weekday to catch up with a coworker and it was cute. Their space is bright, clean, and there are tables and free wi-fi so you can get some work done here. Both my coworker and I got a pastry (a chocolate croissant and a ham croissant), and we also both got matchas. I thought the croissants were solid choices, but I wish they had more savory options. And, I thought that their matcha flavor wasn't very strong, so I was a bit disappointed. Overall, not a bad spot for catching up with friends or getting work done, but I thought that drinks were only okay.
The pineapple and cheese pastry was absolutely delicious! I usually come here for their iced tea, but they also offer a great selection of coffee. The space is quite small, so seating can be limited, but Elizabeth Street Garden is just a short walk away and makes for a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee.
Stopped by Café Integral after picking up our rental car near LaGuardia Airport. It was a cozy pit stop on our way to our Airbnb. I ordered a cortadito, and my brother-in-law had the daily brew hot drink. Both coffees were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing their Nicaraguan beans. We also tried the Brazilian cheese bread, which was a delightful first for me—warm, cheesy, and satisfying. The café itself is small with limited seating, making it ideal for a quick coffee break rather than a lengthy stay. Prices are on the higher side, and portions are modest, but the quality of the coffee makes up for it. Overall, a great spot for coffee enthusiasts looking to experience Nicaraguan brews in a charming setting. Would recommend for a quick, quality coffee stop.
I love their coffee grind and get it either delivered or pick up home , however sadly they don’t have oat milk and I didn’t like their other options (coconut, almond, horchata ). Also no gluten free pastries so for me they’re only good for pick up coffee grind. No indoor / outdoor seating. Ps service is great .
