Avis sur June Albee Square
My wife was gifted a bottle of wine and she accidentally knocked it over and broke it. The staff here not only helped clean up the mess but gave her a new bottle of wine. Absolute class, top service!
Came in on a Monday right before happy hour ended and was super impressed by the ambiance, drink selection, and staff. Thanks to (i think) anika and sierra for being so welcoming. Definitely a classic neighborhood spot to check out!
Delicious, lovely, and simple with a stellar wine selection. It’s a great place for a romantic night or a celebratory evening. There’s some good bites available as well. All combined with good service. Will continue coming here.
A casual Brooklyn restaurant with cute inside and outside seating. When booking it is best to choose covered outdoor seating - they you will be in the backyard but under the roof and have great visibility of outside without leaves and random stuff falling in your food. My burger was wonderful, ricotta salad was a bit underwhelming but well seasoned and I enjoyed their selection of natural and orange wines. The service is a bit too hipsterish and engaging but we are in Brooklyn. For the area i would say it is the best restaurant for a spring/ summer date night.
I've only recently discovered this spot and find it just absolutely perfect in every way. The place is dripping in atmosphere- such a cozy little spot and I'd imagine it'll be even better on a cold night. Natural wines- sampled all the reds last night- yes-- if it's not too busy, they'll entertain you with samplings. I had the chicken thigh with mashed potatoes. Savory and delicious. My friend had the burger and as she lives nearby, said she'll absolutely be returning for that.
Intimate, warm wine bar with a large selection of wines. I asked for a slightly sweeter red wine and they brought me a syrah that was a specialty wine not on the menu by the glass. It was really good. The outdoor patio is very nice with a heat lamp and lights. The WINNER bread and culture butter was very good.
Went for a dinner here. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. Really great date night spot. Getting a bottle is on the pricier side. There aren’t many options in the $50-$60 range. Nonetheless, good wine. The food was VERY good. I didn’t have high expectations for the food, but was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the anchovies, speck, whipped ricotta, and duck. ALL of them 10/10 rating.
A natural wine-focused wine bar and gem dinner spot with vintage rustic interior and a lovely backyard. Their well curated menu is perfect for sharing, featuring a fresh, seasonal ingredients with top notch flavoring (although a bit on the salty side). Highly recommend the little gem, heirloom tomato, and the fluke crudo. Their $20 espresso martini was decent but not amazing so I’d suggest sticking to the wine list.
Gorgeous wine bar, great date spot. Outdoor patio in the back is relaxed and beautiful. Staff is friendly and professional. Food options are super creative, a bit expensive for the portions but definitely worth it! Drink options are also great because they carry orange wines. Everything we tried was amazing - yellowtail, ricotta, duck breast.
Cozy backyard with romantic light bulbs. The heaters were really helpful on a freezing winter night. There are lots of wine selection on the menu. The staff was very attentive and helped us select the right wines. The food menu was simple but full of thoughts. I enjoyed the sunflower butter in the salt baked celery root. The hummus was also delicious with the aroma from olive oil. It’s a perfect place for a date night;)
Cute intimate bar with a pretty expansive drink list. We got two of the cocktails and an orange wine. The Ohio drink was very different but a bit too intense for our taste, The drunken angel I thought was very good, had a bit of a seasonality palette to it. The orange wine was ok, not a personal favorite. It looked like they also had additional seating in the back, didn’t get a chance to check it out but looked dimly lit.
This bar is really a “hidden gem” in the neighborhood. Friendly service and beautiful presentation. While the menu is a little limited, everything from the appetizers to entrees is delicious. My only complaint is that the steak was quite fatty. Of course there is always a little fat on steak, but there was so much on mine that it was hard to chew. Other than that, excellent experience overall.
Really cozy intimate spot. I’d recommend just going for drinks and not eating there. We had to wait for water and utensils, and for 45+ mins for our main courses. Once received, I had to send back my food as it was cold. Once I received my dish again, I had to stand up to get utensils because they took them with the original dish. My monkfish was very salty. For $100+ per person, not nearly worth it. It was Valentine’s Day, but most tables around us were empty as we were there later. Delicious wine and vibes, but skip the food.
Waited 40 minutes for a glass of wine. They also never brought over water, had to ask the bartender. Such a pretty place with a great menu but these sub par waiters have no business here. @owner
