The cook and probably the owner was good the server first day not bad I guess he has to learn a little more but all around everything was pretty good
food was good and the staff is friendly. also, there’s a mandatory 20% tip that’s included in your bill :)
I love the chicken tikka masala + garlic naan here so much that I can't stop myself from ordering the same thing every time
we visited couple days before lunch time , they have lunch special and it was so delicious, service was excellent , owner was very friendly with us
We really enjoyed our first meal here and plan to come back again very soon!
Excellent!! Really enjoyed dinner! We will be back! Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Masala with grilled vegetable, amazing!
My go to Indian restaurant in downtown Manhattan! Everything is absolutely delicious and the service is fast and friendly.
We had a dinner last week and this the best Indian food ever I had , food and service was outstanding
Food was incredible!!! Highly recommend! Especially the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan.
Excellent food, enjoyed by all six of our group, and great service 👍🏻
I always come here , normally we do most of the time takeout . Always yummy . Staff are friendly and great service.
Excellent service from Riadsh. The food is delicious and they made it less spicy for me , since I like very mild food.
Great Indian cuisine and very nice service. Love the vegetarian dishes as well
Exceptional service & delicious food! Highly recommend the chicken tikka biryani, butter chicken, samosa chaat, & pakora :)
Best Indian food i ever had, service is outstanding. I recommend all
AMAZING food, sweetest people
Amazing samosas!.. so far that's all I've had there. Looking forward to having more of what they offer.
Had an AMAZING experience from the food to the service! Be sure to grab a Mango Lassi, you won’t regret it ;-)

Have been looking for a go-to Indian spot in Gramercy and finally found it. Everything on the menu is delicious 🤤
Food is delicious. Service is excellent. 5 stars all the way!
I‘ve been getting the curry chicken at least once per week for the past couple months. It’s absolutely delicious every time. Love this place
The food here is so delicious and very comforting! The shahi korma is very good & the service is awesome. The owners are so nice . I come here for lunch often. Great restaurant !
I had always seen this restaurant but never went in, but it was a pleasant surprise. The service was great and they even accommodated our requests, the food was really good.
Authentic Indian food is finally here im so happy to dine here. The service and quality of food is amazing. Definitely coming back!
I must say food is delicious, nice and fresh, my friends enjoy their dish and drinks, I would definitely recommend this location.
best Indian food in new york. delicious fresh food, highly recommend. Used for delivery twice after eating in.food on all occassions equally delicious.
This is the BEST Indian food in Manhattan. Periodt. Everything is hand made and the service is literally out of this world for NYC—you will not be disappointed.
All of the food is delicious and prepared really well. I had an amazing dining experience and the staff is very friendly. 100% recommend this place
I had dinner here with a friend, the food was a winner, so was the Chai. I'll definitely be back. Part of a Travel Guru Life Expedition
A great place for super delicious and authentic Indian food! Quiet and really nice staff. Would 1000% return and recommend
I visited last night with my family , service was excellent and food was outstanding, They have lot of vegetarian options and variety of choices, friendly service and nice atmosphere , I recommended this place for everyone.

I came in today during almost closing time at 3pm they still took my order awesome customer service I’ve ordered paneer pakora for snack amazing must try again amazing owners and food I’m definitely coming back here.
Beautiful space, clean with great service and food. Nice for late lunch or a dinner date.
Its the 2nd time i do takeout and its been absolutely delicious. I got the chicken tikka, coconut chicken, navaratan korma, mango lassi and garlic naan… everything is full of flavor and they can accommodate pple that cant do too spicy. Will definitely order again.
This restaurant food is very testy and inside very clean…I like this restaurant🤍
This is our go to for Indian food. We have ordered take out 5 times and each time the food was excellent. Having spent quite a bit of time in India (working) its nice to have authentic tasting Indian food.
best Indian food ever I had. staff are very very welcoming and excellent service , we ordered Mix vegetable Makhni , lamb korma, shrimp shahi korma and garlic & chesse naan, it was outstanding
Really spicy so get MILD if you can't handle the heat! All dishes are large and good for lunch at home the next day. (not in the office microwave) 😳 Got Chicken Makhni (yum), saag w/ potato and shrimp biryani!
Reasonably priced and delicious. We came in on a Saturday night and had the tiki masala along with a sampler and the flavors were rich and satisfying. Highly recommend!
My girlfriend and I eat here at least twice a month. Some of the best Indian in the city and the dishes are consistently delicious. Look to order the Palak Paneer!!!
Best indian food in NYC, staff arr very welcoming Execellent service . We ordered chicken karahi , Lamb Korma anc Garlic & Cheese Naan Everyting was so delicious , I recomanded this place again and again
I went in with my family to eat and we had a great time. The owner was nice and the employees were very polite. The food was excellent, I especially enjoyed the tandoori mixed platter and the traditional rice pudding. I would recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area.
This place was excellent. New business that’s only been open for a couple months and they are working hard to make sure everyone has what they need. Butter chicken, chicken coconut, and chicken karahi. All were amazing. The good kind of spicy and very creamy. The garlic and cheese naan were good, I personally like when it’s more on the crispier side I get like it was a tad undercooked, but that didn’t stop me from eating 4 pieces!!! The owner was busting tables and taking orders all by himself, working his butt off. Greta place! Come support this uprising restaurant.
This is a great neighborhood spot. Quality Indian - everything tasted very fresh and perfectly seasoned. We particularly enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and the garlic naan. Get the aloo paratha naan too! It’s a clean and casual dining experience - my three friends and I enjoyed a nice dinner on a Thursday. Take out is very good as well. Service is top notch, too. Definitely worth a visit or an order!
Amazing indian food and incredible service! Highly recommend! My family and I are big fans and will be coming back for more.
I've had Indian a few times when I've come to NYC. This was by far the best I've had. The gobi Manchurian and chicken Tikka masala were some of the best I've ever had anywhere. The naan was fluffy and tasty. Will definitely come back here again (it's close to Camp where we often go with their experience show). Delicious!
I had an amazing family dinner at Manhattan Indian Flavor. Literally EVERYTHING was so good - everyone was raving about the flavor. We had a few people in the party who hadn't really eaten Indian food before and they were blown away. The service was really friendly and warm. I will make this my go-to spot from now on. Again, everything was delicious but be sure to try the chili chicken, gobi manchurian, the lamb curry, and the shrimp tandoori!
Super yummy food and very authentic! Came with a group of 5 and everyone’s dishes looked delicious. The design and look of the place was very clean and spacious, which is especially important in pandemic times. Definitely will be coming back to get a taste of comforting food from home!
Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. We've ordered take out twice, and everything we've tried so far tasted great and nicely spiced. If you like meat, plenty of lamb and goat options. I very much enjoyed the lamb seekh kebab, and may go back to it again and again. On the vegetable side, I'm very partial to okra, and the bhindi masala hit the spot. Very friendly too. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu.
We've ordered takeout from here twice since they opened and both times it has been really great. Big portion sizes, really good food that feels like it was home-cooked rather than "Americanized". Such a welcome addition to the neighborhood!
Great place for authentic Indian food! Food was delicious and portions are very generous! My family and I got the Chicken biriyani, Lamb curry and Chicken Makhni and Naan..ALL the dishes were scrumptious! Definitely recommend this place. The owner was very warm and friendly too! All in all, great experience!
Best North Indian food in NYC by far. It’s no frills but the food is unmatched in flavor
Super delicious (and spicy, be sure to ask for super mild). Great and friendly staff with fast delivery. They are new, so be sure to call and order from them directly (don't use Seamless or Postmates) to help support their local business.
Will always be my favorite Indian restaurant in NYC! I love their chicken tikka and aloo palak.
This place has amazing food and the take out is perfect. This is a family business that also has an outpost in Philadelphia. Philly folks, come honor this hometown favorite. Stuy town folks this is great eats at great prices and BYOB. Take out is always perfect and to eat in is nice because the place has enough space to feel safe with Covid and always is super clean and inviting. The traditional Indian favorites are amazing here. My favorites: Chicken Malabar- coconut chicken yum! Gobi Manchurian Saag everything Vegetarian specialities Tandoori- which is universally amazing
Great food! The samosas are a must have! Best Indian food we’ve had! The owner was very nice and we had the opportunity to chat with him too! Hands down a five star experience!
I went here when they first opened about a year ago, and objectively the food was not very good. HOWEVER, I just tried them again and they have seriously improved. Chicken was really good. Naan was fluffy not doughy. Rice wasn’t hard.
We have been walking by this neighborhood place for a while and decided to stop in last night. My wife is North Indian and she loved it! Service is impeccable, but more importantly the food is spot on. Give them a try if you want authentic Indian!
I ate here recently with my mother. It’s a charming restaurant on the corner of 18th street and 2nd Avenue. The food was delicious. My Lamb Saag was the perfect level of medium spicy that I requested. My mother loved her dish of mild buttered chicken. The Somosa was delicious and the spicy food was cooled by the Mango Lhassi. Of you’re in this neighborhood and looking for a delicious and reasonably priced restaurant I’d recommend eating here.
Great Indian restaurant! Usually I don't order the vindaloo because it's too spicy, but here it was just perfectly spicy. The saag paneer was really good and so was the chicken tikka masala. Very recommended!
Wow. This place is really amazing. The staff so nice and service was great. Our food was amazing. We got the chicken tikka masala, onion naan, and pakora. Delicious!!!! I can reiterate enough how nice the staff was to us. He was so friendly and made our meal very enjoyable. Thanks!
I’m a NYC cop who’s favorite lunch time spot is Manhattan Indian Flavor. It’s a good, old-fashioned, family restaurant. The owners are one of the most warm, friendly, and inviting people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. They always check to make sure our food is to our liking, at just the right amount of times. The food is tasteful and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice. Tables and bathrooms are clean. I recommend if you have not already stopped by for lunch or dinner, do so. They close for a short time at 3pm to clean, then reopen a hour or so later.
Excellent Restaurant. 1. It is very clean and well kept. 2. Very attentive to details and it is authentic Indian Food. The flavors and spices . We enjoyed our time and Spoke with Riaz and learned a lot.
I've eaten here multiple times. My go to premium Indian place. Some of the best food I've had ever, Period. proportion are good, and staff is nice. Chicken Tikka masala, and chicken byrani is what i recommend for those who dont know indian food.
This place is very welcoming and food and service was excellent. We were came in lunch time and they have Lunch special too but we ordered from regular menu lamb korma, Shrimp Karahi and Garlic & cheese naan , the taste was outstanding . owner is very friendly , we recommended this place for romantic dinner .we will be back again,
Delicious fish tikka. Enjoyed my dish at the restaurant! Courteous staff. I arrived at the place close to their closing time but they were really patient with me.

I’m so addicted to this place. We order from here at least 2x a week. Their lamb kebabs, tandoori chicken, fish curry - well, basically everything- is so delicious 😭 such a lowkey gem. Don’t sleep on this spot!!
I ordered takeout from here and it was absolutely delicious. The workers were incredibly friendly on the phone and provided exceptional service.
Food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. Visiting from out of town. A local walked in to use the restroom and was rightfully denied. He then posted a fake review of all 1s earlier tonight. Ignore that review. This place was very good.
Amazing! Where do I start? The food was fantastic! I had the tandoori chicken and my fiance had goat curry. The serving sizes of both dishes were huge and the pricing was great. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for good Indian food. Normally I post pictures but it looked so good I forgot to take them!
Great Indian food! We always bring friends here as the food is so amazing. The restaurant will adjust the food to mild/moderate/spicy according to your wishes. The beef karahi gosht, palak and chili chicken appetizer are to die for. The naan is perfectly cooked. Will be coming back here many, many times.
A step above the typical NYC Indian food, but no more expensive. Everything freshly prepared, nuanced flavors, arrived hot from delivery. One of the best of the many casual Indian kitchens in this part of town. Sarson ka saag (piquant greens) was an exceptional dish you don’t see often.
I ordered here before they closed. The staff was very nice and pleasant. I returned right after leaving with my order to get some more of the items ordered and the person who helped me (I Believe to be possibly the owner or manager) was extremely nice and helpful. The rice pudding (kheer) and rasmali were very good and satisfying. I have tried many restaurants in the city and I have to say this one tops my list. I would definitely order from here again whenever I return to the city. I would recommend trying this restaurant as the food was very good as well as the service. Thanks.

Neiborhood gem! It was such a pleasant experience from start to finish, very friendly service by Abdul, the food is delicious and the paratha bread was excellent! Go there and you won't be disappointed.
They had a minimum amount of order for anyone to dine in. Very weird. However, the food was amazing! (Lassi could have been slightly better though)
Roomy Restaurant for NYC. Big menu. Tasty Indian Dishes. Nice staff. Excellent Naan Bread.
Very much enjoyed my lunch. It was my first time ever ordering from here, and I was very much pleased with the flavors, portions, and price. The tamarind sauce was delicious. Will be ordering from here again.
This is a more convenient, more up-scale Indian restaurant in Gramercy/Stuyvesant than its "Little India" brethren on Lexington Avenue and East 6th Street and about the same/somewhat better quality. While prices are a tad above those other venues, the portions here are ENORMOUS and a big reason for the four stars. Nearly every entre is enough for two or warms up nicely the next day. Recommended.
Just finished a terrific dinner at Manhattan Indian Flavor. We started with the Chicken Malabar appetizer which was a really nice app with a mango sauce. We also ordered cheese poor bread which was not on the menu but they made special for us. We followed with an order of Chicken Tikka Masala - delicious with just the right amount of heat. The yogurt sauce and naan were great accompaniment. They threw in a really nice free rice pudding dessert. Abdul provided excellent since and the price was right. BYOB really helps keep the price down down. This is our new fav neighborhood Indian restaurant!
Decent indian restaurant! I ordered Chicken Takka Massala (?) I liked it!! But the chicken was quite so dry for me...except for the chicken, the curry was good. I chose medium spiciness for my curry. Also, I got Mango Lassi, too. I think Lassi taste is depending on restaurant s. This Mango Lassi was more sweet than sour flavor. But it was good!! I got here during lunch special time. I thought I had to choose either rice or Nan, the bread. But those two will come when you order!

Their food is delicious. Their manager is sweaty and rude. There was a misunderstanding regarding my pickup order and instead of listening and understanding, the manager escalated the situation to where I had to physically back up to create space. Once the guy finally understood what was going on, he ran into the kitchen never to be seen again and without an apology. Don’t eat here for service and the food doesn’t make it worth it.

Had gone a couple of months ago and the food was really good. Went recently and both the taste as well as quality has gone down significantly. Would not go back there.
I had been looking for a good restaurant with full Halal menu for my team’s end of the year dinner and this restaurant is the closest one with everything all Halal Menu nearby. I must say that they definitely need some work to fix the decor and lighting as it was very dull. There is a need of some training as well for the waiter as he didn’t quite understand of our ask at the first time. The freshness and quality of the food was outstanding. The portion size is a lot less compared to the price tag. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on the portion size, ambiance and service.

disapointing indian restaurent. very cold service. not one smile.make you fill like you are not welcome. they are asking for a minimum of 16.90$ per person. never see that before. you can easily arrive to this price but i realy did not liked it. the food was ok, nothing special. the design was very poor. not recommended.
The food tasted good. But, I got sick on the food, which has never happened after eating Indian food. The waiter/owner wasn't very pleasant.
Dal Makhni is India’s signature dish — but what arrived here was nothing short of a culinary crime scene. A baffling mix of yellow and black lentils with random Rajma thrown in, cooked in a “unique” way that defies human understanding. Let me be clear: by no standards on this planet is this Dal Makhni. I asked for HOT spice level and got… dessert?? A bizarrely sweet dal that left me wondering if they confused “spicy” with “sugary.” The rice? Weapon-grade hard. I nearly broke a tooth trying to crack them — clearly designed for people with titanium jaws and cast-iron stomachs. And the naan? Good luck. It was like chewing through a piece of hardened leather; I’m pretty sure medieval shields were softer. Honestly, this feels slightly less than a conspiracy against Indian food — more like a full-blown attack. What a shocking waste of time, money, and calories. If they want to keep serving “Indian food,” someone on their team urgently needs to get on a plane to India and take notes. Completely, utterly disappointed.
Went there for dinner. We were seated at 7:20 pm. 7:50 pm the appetizers arrive. The chaat was just ok. Not anything outstanding. Then we wait another 10 mins. At 8:03 pm, no main course. The response we got was “Oh the food is coming. Maybe another 20 mins.” My wife asked why is it taking so long. The gentleman seemed annoyed and said “oh are you in a rush?” We decided to leave and cancel the order. One hour to cook two dishes seems ridiculous.

There was added color in food plus there was a minimum order of $17 per person requirement.
Ordered food from this restaurant. Highly disappointed with staffs interaction over the phone. Food is average will not order again.
Had lunch here. Food is ok. The waiter dropped oilly fork to my pants and said sorry immediately but the manager was extremely rude. I had a very bad experience in this restaurent. Will never go back.
W A R N I N G They will overcharge you here… I called for a pickup order and was charged a lot more than what I should be paying for! The person I spoke to said they have a new menu, with new prices. I just picked up the menu in front of the restaurant the day before, go figure… 👎🏼👎🏼
In our whole order, in appitaisr we ordered vegitarian samosa, they served chicken samosa. Didn't appreciate at all. Staff needs to get to serve what customer order. We are vegitarian. Sorry I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
We were looking for tea and found this spot on Google Maps. Apparently the place has a minimum billing for $16.95. We didn't see that and just ordered one tea. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. I offered to order something more to meet their $16.95 requirement but the staff just kept being disrespectful. We didn't try anything else at the restaurant
A disappointment. I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant so decided to order from them two weeks later. Short answer, don’t. Upon arrival, the lamb was virtually inedible and surrounded by this sickly yellow sauce where the powder still hadn’t fully dissolved. The garlic naan was not much better. It was also poorly presented with the biggest pot being filled with… you’ve guessed it… rice. It was so bad that most of it ended up in the bin. This was a real shame because I had been so looking forward to ordering from them again. Now, I will never return. For those looking for an Indian restaurant, I would strongly recommend Benares in TriBeCa. Best one on Manhattan!
Foods were good, but the behavior was not good at all. We reserved a table for 2:30 pm; they took our order. At 2:55, they served our food, and at 3:00 pm, they literally told us to go out. They didn’t give us the time to eat at all. We couldn’t even eat and left our food. It was a total waste of money. Their timing management was entirely unorganized, and their behavior was completely unexpected.

When they took our order, they should told us that after 3:00 pm we can’t stay in the Resturent. They gave us the food at 2:55 pm. Then after 10 minutes manager told us that we have to go. Is it really the behavior of a manager? They didn’t give us the time to eat at all. We couldn’t even eat and left our food inside. Their timing management is entirely unorganized, and their behavior was completely unprofessional.
