Food was SO GOOD! One of the best sangria I’ve ever had. Joselito made our dining experience such a special one. Music playlist was 🔥🔥🔥
INCREDIBLE pizza and even better cocktails, the service was perfect. Surprisingly affordable for the quality and amount of food you get. I will absolutely be back!!
Very cute and cozy, perfect for a date night! My husband and I visited while in NYC for his birthday and they made it extra special. Danilo was attentive and food was great!
Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our meal and impeccable service from Danielo and Ernesto. We started w bruschetta funghi and burrata and a bottle of amarone della valpolicella followed by the rigatoni pesto w shrimp, chicken parmigiana, and orechiette with rabe and sausage. All dishes were done well. We split the chocolate mousse to close things out. Throughout the service was timely and unobtrusive. 5 stars for Marcellino.
In town for a girls trip and had the most amazing experience at Marcellino! Oscar was an amazing waiter. The penne vodka was divine, and the garlic bread to die for. I shared a great tiramisu with my good friend and enjoyed great conversation. The service was truly incredible! We will absolutely be back. Thank you for the great service and great food!
Lovely Italian restaurant with a very cozy vibe. Decorated nicely for the holidays and the staff are friendly. It wasn't overcrowded so it was a comfortable ambiance without too much noise and it was nice and warm inside, perfect for a snowy day. We had some bread to start and then I ordered the lasagna which was delicious and flavorful. I found it to be the perfect portion but some might find it small if you like to eat more. We ended with a cheesecake which was also very good and just what I was craving! Give it a try if you're ever in the area!
We had a reservation for 7:30, but after a long day of shopping we arrived early. Danilo welcomed us heartily and made us feel at home immediately! Our party of 4 each enjoyed our meals and appreciated the portion sizes—not too big, nor too small. The flavors were excellent and cooked just right. Light gnocchi, crisp veal, and sumptuous eggplant. Our server, Nestor, was attentive and funny. He elevated the entire experience to unforgettable by surprising my mother with an exuberant happy birthday song and a piece of delicious tiramisu (complete with candle)! This was the perfect spot for us and we will definitely come back next time we are in NYC. Thank you!
Best meal ever! The pasta is homemade and the Tiramisu is made in house. The Pappardelle, Chicken Parmesan, seafood risotto and Tiramisu were very delicious! Vodka pizza amazing! My blood orange margarita make by Nestor it was very tasty. The restaurant is a fairly intimate and cozy with great service by Nestled. Absolutely amazing, It's in a great location, we got to Brooklyn Bridge in a short time. Highly recommend this Marcellono restaurant! We will be Back son. 5 stars plus!!
Unexpected stop, food was delicious, love the authentic atmosphere. Sat outside as we didn't have reservation, but we were fortunate the weather was nice and it was a great view of Little Itlaty. As this was our first trip to NYC. So happy that we landed here for dinner. A small downside was the function of the restroom but the more we experience NY we realize that it's so common. Would most definitely come here again. Had the lobster ravioli, delicious. Friendly staff, made an error with my drink and corrected immediately!!
Came here for their $25 lunch special and left EXTREMELY SATISFIED. Our waiter Joselito was very attentive and made our experience great. We had the calamari, chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatball and had the cheesecake and tiramisu. So happy we stumbled upon this place. Very delicious food, I and you really can not beat the lunch special.
Very cute and intimate decor. We were able to get west right away on a Friday night. Wish they oily e told us the bottle of water on the tables was $8 and you could ask for complimentary water instead. Only had the fries and calamari. Calamari was really good and cooked perfectly. The sauce was too chunky but the flavor was good. The refresher martini I had was also very good. Our waiter never checked up on us though.
My mother used to tell me that you can judge a restaurant by how clean their bathroom is. I wish I had looked in their bathroom before I ordered. Look at how dirty the soap dispenser is and the missing toilet flushing button... That's just the beginning. Ordered the pesto rigatoni. It was flavorless, even with a lot of salt - just awful. It was so bad we had to send it back. Ordered the spaghetti Bolognese which we just wrapped up to take home and probably won't even eat. Also ordered the seafood spaghetti. The server provided no bowl for the shells. The mussels were huge. Huge mussels are always tough and gamey, and they were chewy. The red sauce was average. Save yourself from this tourist focused restaurant and go somewhere else.
The wine was good, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The service was extremely disappointing. We were the only guests in the restaurant, yet the food arrived cold. I had to ask several times just to get salt and pepper, and the tables around us were not cleared. I ordered the Gambas pasta and ended up vomiting all night afterwards, which makes me seriously question the freshness of the food. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.
