Delicious!!! Good falafel is hard to find. And this adorable store nailed it. The flavors from different fresh ingredients in my falafel pita were just exactly what I needed them. Filling and not heavy at all >> happy customer here! Thank you 😊
I orders chicken rice plater and grill chicken sandwich food was delicious and warm Highly recommend this halal food spot
Visiting from Texas and not sure where to start—this falafel was top-notch when it comes to taste, and the sandwich as a whole was excellent. I’ve tried many falafel spots before, but honestly, with my experience of spending a lot of time in the Middle East, I can say this was the best and the closest to the falafel I’ve had there. The owner of the restaurant was super friendly and a true gentleman. I will definitely be going back.if you are visiting NY don’t waste your time visiting other falafel places you really must go to the falafel Co and you will know what I am talking about.
Best falafel pita in NYC. Beautifully spiced and it all tastes very fresh and healthy and delicious. The white sauce and hot sauce combo is amazing. Service is great the guys are super friendly. Mango lassi is also a hit!!!
I eat been eating here at least once week for the last few years. It’s definitely is the best lamb I’ve had from any halal spot in the area. Serves is fast and friendly, and the portions are large. If I could give more stars I would
We visited New York City Falafel Co. twice during our trip from Atlanta because it was so good the first time, we had to try it again! The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious — packed with flavor and cooked just the way I like it. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and clearly hard-working. It’s a great, affordable spot for takeout, and we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the city!
The spices are BEAUTIFULLY done on the chicken and rice platter. I just finished my leftovers and I already want more. I could honestly just keep eating it forever. I normally get sick of flavors over the time it takes to eat my plate, but this time I COULDN'T stop. If I had a big funnel I would buy this chicken and rice in bulk and just drink it.
No place to sit, but that didn’t matter. Pita was so good. I happily ate it on the sidewalk. Hit the spot before a show.
Honestly one of the best street meat spots in the area. My go to for halal food
$4 for 3 falafels and it just slaps. Slightly spicy. Fast to order. Next time i want to come hungrier and order the platter/pita. Note its an extra 50 cents charge if you pay by card (on top of tax)
The Chicken Pita was amazing, great flavors. Owner was very helpful and kind.
I don’t normally write reviews for late night bites…but this was such a good surprise find for a really good falafel. It is up there with Mamoun’s. Thanks for being open late!
Excellent food!! The chicken and lamb platter was one of the best meals I ate in New York. The meat is tender and very flavorful. Rice is well cooked and there is salad included. Don’t miss out on an excellent, filling meal. Not to mention it’s halal.
Been meaning to check this spot out, the chicken gyro sandwich I had was fine. As you can see from the photo, it’s not exactly what I’d call a gyro, more of a pita stuffed with seasoned chicken some sauce a few diced tomatoes and some lettuce that’s then put in a panini press. That said, the sauce was pretty nice and overall I thought the sandwich was fine. Takeout only
This place is ok, ordered their platter, swapped out rice for fries. Fries are kinda greasy, not much to say about them. The falafel balls were good, Hot N crispy w/unique flavor make them a stand out. Has a 2-seater counter, no place to hang a jacket. Its more a take out & snacks convenience shop. Expected more, got less. Worth giving another try next year.
Ordered a chicken shawarma platter and some falafel. I got food poisoning the next day - you can almost never tell from where you catch these bugs, of course, but their food was the only food outside of my typical rotation of meals I ate recently. The chicken itself was pretty bland and dry. However the falafel were really good, not dried out, and spicy.
I don’t really understand the point of this place. My meal was exactly the same as any $6 halal cart in the neighborhood in taste, quality and presentation — yet it was triple the price. Guys, if you’re going to sign a lease on a brick-and-mortar, you better make it worth our while. Time to step things up. Also, my hummus was flavorless and seemed a bit dry and mealy.
Low quality, overpriced halal food. The chicken tasted like cheap store bought shredded chicken that had been sitting out for ten hours. Nothing like any other halal plate I’ve had. The hummus was completely inedible. Worst I’ve ever had. Look at the comparison between what was served and the picture they posted on uber eats. I’m a halal food addict who lives nearby and I would love if some of the good places stayed open later.
