Avis sur Seaport Deli Albee Square
These are the spots NYC is built on. I missed this. Before hopping on the subway, you pop in, grab a bacon, egg, and cheese — salt, pepper, ketchup. You already know the vibes. Coffee light and sweet. Hits the spot every single time. Threw in a classic black-and-white cookie for good measure. Truly can’t go wrong. God bless America.
Can’t go wrong with seemingly anything off their menu, lunch or breakfast wise. Sausage/bacon egg and cheeses are about $7-8 each but are pretty filling, and never had a problem with any of the staff. Always an easy place to grab a bite
I'm regular here, so when I enter we just communicate with fingers to show the number of sandwiches I'd like for my kids. I always get sausage egg and cheese on a slightly toasted roll. The cooks never disappoint. Sometimes it's very busy and I'm just amazed how fast and accurate they are and the food looks delish. You can get even smoothies or fresh juices here. Def recommend.
Seaport Deli in Fulton is a solid spot that gets the job done. The ladies at the checkout are always friendly, and the guys behind the grill have incredible memories—they remember orders with ease and take pride in their work. If you’ve been there multiple times and it appears they haven’t noticed or acknowledged you, they’re probably already making your order. The food is consistently good, though I’ve come across a bit of eggshell a couple of times. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-run deli with a welcoming atmosphere.
The early morning chef is very polite! But my sandwich price jumped from $6.53 to $7.93! How and why??!! They just lost a customer! The sandwiches were okay but not worth that price. Thanks but no thanks 👋🏾
If anyone sees this comment please share your expertise. I’ve lived in NYC all my life but I’m trying to understand how stores/bodegas run business especially when it comes to pricing items. For example, a store like Target, charges you the exact price of items plus tax and all of that. If you buy 3 items, again this is an example, and those items are $3.25, $1.50 and $7.00 then the total price will be $11.75. Right?. Why does it feel like certain stores/bodegas round the prices for items that you purchase? Like it feels like you are not paying the exact amount of what you are buying? Why can’t all stores/bodegas scan the items of purchase to at least feel like what you are paying for is right as a customer.
The food is not bad but man the service really is bad at least in the evening shift. I asked them what’s the price on their sandwich rolls and they telling me the same as a hero which makes absolutely no sense so I replied “how do you charge the same price for a hero on a roll I’m getting less food?” And they shrug said yeah. After they said ok 1 dollar less for roll so I’m thinking this whole time they’ve been charging everyone the same price for a hero on a roll. Then I tried paying cash and they still tried to charge me as if I’m paying by card. I can’t go back here anymore maybe in the morning.
It is open 24/7 and they serve food like sandwiches, salads, and they have a grill. They also have a smoothies and fresh juices. Overall the staff was cool and they sale beers. Your average NYC deli. (Updated 8-17-23) I downgraded this to two Stars because they manipulated the pricing of their sandwich at the store. Moreover, the guy at the counter was condescending and insincere. The trick is that all their sandwiches are the same price (for the most part). However, if you want free chips and a pickle with your sandwich it must come from the menu (this is stated on the Menu Broad behind the food counter). It does not matter if you order a similar sandwich. For example, I ordered Tuna with Cheese at $12.39 (including the tax). However, if I ordered a tuna melt from the menu at the same price. I would have gotten a free bag of chips and a pickle at no added cost. If you like chips with your sandwich and a pickle at no added cost! Make sure you get a sandwich from the menu.
I bought an Arizona Can which should’ve been $1.00 but was told it’ll be a few cents added, total $1.25 + tax, but I guess they charge + with card payments. I don’t like how they handle their prices/not giving notice ahead. I bet they change their prices last minute after concerts/events. Rip offs. Be aware.
Really disappointed at my experience here. Firstly their staff was very rude. I went up to order a salad I was told I need to fill out a form on the other side of the store to order. After I filed it out I then waited on line again to bring up my order. I Was then told that I have to hand it to someone back on the other side of the store. I waited there for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging I was there. Someone finally came over after I had to go back up to the front counter to let them know I have been waiting. This place used to be so friendly and quick.very disappointed.
I get a breakfast sandwich almost daily ....1 day I asked can I use the restroom to wash my hands.... 1st the counter guy said its not working then said it was broken....I asked so what do you guys do....he said go to another store....I laughed and said wow ... you're just gonna lie???? He could of just said it's not open to the public....I think I'll go place a big order and then change my mind when it's done and he wants me to pay
Absolutely disgusting, soggy, tuna is super fishy it’s nasty, barley any flavor this is worst deli I tried in nyc disgusting.
Bad service, the attendant has weird attitude, about what toppings you can add to a salad.
This place is extremely overpriced. For some reason they take advantage of being the only deli around the immediate area. Do not give them any money, hopefully they’ll go out of business.
There was bright yellow and black bug in my sandwich. I found out once it was in my mouth; I spit out an unreasonably bitter bite of a honey turkey hero to find my worst nightmare. No way in hell sandwich man could've missed it. Will update with whether I had to go to the hospital or not as bright bug usually= poisonous. I haven't even seen a bug like that in NYC period. They do have my favorite cookie in the city though.
I have been here two times, and both times, after I purchase my food at ONE price that they show me on the screen, I see a TOTALLY different price on my account. They are stealing from you!!! BE CAREFUL AND ALWAYS GET YOUR RECEIPT!!! IF NOT THEY WILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOU WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!
My experience with the chicken salad I bought was beyond terrible. I can't believe the audacity of the establishment to serve me a portion that was not only shockingly minuscule but also consisted of chicken pieces that were practically microscopic. It was as if they were mocking me with their pathetic attempt at a meal. I felt like I was robbed of my money and my appetite. I wouldn't wish this disappointment on my worst enemy. Avoid this place at all costs!
