Had a mixed experience on Friday with one of our orders not having cheese on it and employees running around handing wrong orders to other customers that would likely get them eliminated from The Amazing Race. Despite the flaws it has (having to wait in the parking lot for your order, the outdated interior that has not been changed in forever, the occasional confused employees seeing the Dairy Queen Texas mobile app) the restaurant has it is one of those legacy restaurants that has been in Andrews since at least the 1970s.

I came to get some tacos and a chicken strip basket. First of all the lady in the window was super rude and didn’t greet us, basically through our blizzard and drinks at us to move us along. Then I got my tacos and all of the stuffing wasn’t even in the shell. Seemed like they through lettuce and tomatoes in the box and called it good. I love Dairy Queen but something’s got to give I don’t appreciate feeling like an inconvenience when trying to get my food.

I had to wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes for a burger and fries. I suggest hiring more people or developing a better system to cater to the dinner crowd. There is a reason they call it "fast food".

Tried to get a quick bite. Waited for nearly an hour for a burger, fries and a blizzard. Apparently they take call in orders for local events and slammed their kitchen. I didn't know DQ was in the catering business. Food tasted good, but their lack of anything resembling speed disappointing.

I went to this unit on a Saturday at 2pm amd the dining room was closed. There was no sign just closed no one around. Why?

It’s absolutely insane to me how me and my husband are having to wait to get to the restaurant to order take out, when we’re trying to order before to not have to hold up the line since they usually take longer since it’s A burger. There’s been multiple times in which they just hang up even when there is only a car in the drive through and 2 people in tables inside already eating. I understand if it would have been once but it’s ALWAYS.

Rude manager, shouldn’t be in customer service acting like that. Not my fault she hates her job.

Don’t order food with your blizzards, the blizzards will be melted by the time they bring your food. Wth would you give someone half an order, tell them to pull around and wait? How about not making the blizzards until the food is done? 30 min drive thru time is absurd.

Kitten Rages

Young boy was very rude over the speaker and made me repeat myself many times, no matter how loud I spoke. I asked for only pickles and got everything but pickles on my burger. I dont feel like it was his fault entirely but how rude he was makes me feel like he had a part to play. I also ordered 2 ice creams, one of them wasn't filled all the way up (filled about 3/4 of the way in a medium cup) and the second wasn't fully blended so most of it was just vanilla ice cream. Defintely not worth the money I paid.

They took extremely long on just 2 Duke sandwiches & my Grilled chicken sandwich. Not to mention Jalapeños were to be added in a cup & they didn't have them in there. My daughter went inside to place the order @ 4:16pm I called inside after waiting outside in the vehicle @ 4:30pm, the young lady said it would be out. It didn't until 4:46pm. All to discover @ home the Jalapeños were missing.

This is the absolute WORST Dairy Queen I've ever been to. The staff is RUDE, they don't listen, and today when I had asked for whipped cream in a cup the girl opened window and goes "is this what you want?!" This place is cringeworthy. Get better staff people.
