This is an older style with no indoor seating and just a few tables outdoors. I hadn't been to this location in several years and I noticed that they've updated the driv-thru to alleviate the backup on Santa Anita Ave. I was able to find a parking spot in their lot and are in the car. The food met my In-N-Out expectations.

Last night we got back from a 3-week European holiday. Driving back from the airport, there was a brief discussion about what should be our first meal back home. That discussion ended when someone suggested "In 'n Out?". Always a good choice.

In n Out jas had this long standing of good food, reasonably priced that is serves quickly. And they still stand by it. Never been to one that didn't stand by this. Had a late night burger here and although there was about 12 cats ahead of us we were only there dir what seemed like 10 mins from arrival to departure. Service with a smile as always.

The In and Out location in Arcadia on Santa Anita is quite popular and the lines for the food get quite long. It has always been my experience that the lines move impressively quickly. The staff has always been friendly and polite and they have never gotten my order wrong!

Yes, you are getting a fast food burger at this place but what a burger it will be! Reasonably priced, the burgers and fries are fresh and you can taste the difference. A double double (animal style to take it up a notch) with fries and a shake is a great way to go but it is up to you to get a taste of this local burger iconic place.

I live in Pasadena and I try my best to avoid the In N Out in town. Why? The line to order moves so slow and the order process is the worst I've seen at an In N Out. So, if I have the time to drive to this one, I do. Food - I'm a 3X3 mustard fried guy! Though I think the patties have shrunk over the years, I still like this burger a lot! They have it right - one window to order and one to pick up your food. I've never had a slow moving order line here and the food arrives relatively quickly too. Relative = this isn't McDonalds - they actually cook each patty vs pressed burgers at the other place. The eating area feels very sterile. There's no character here. And many times we're eating here, we smell someone smoking pot - either someone on the patio or from a car. I had not idea Arcadia had so many potheads! If you live in Pasadena and you're tired of the terrible order flow at the Foothill store, give this one a try. I have a feeling you'll be able to drive here, get your food, eat your food and drive home faster than if you went to the Foothill In N Out. I highly recommend this In N Out!

The line was long but the had me car 14 out in less than 7 minutes. I stood in line to order at McDonalds longer. The burgers are great. The fries could be better but the were good too. And get a Shake. I can't wait to be in California to eat there again. P.s. Kinda Taste like a healthier Checkers/Rallys without the grease and filler.

Being In-N-Out...everything is always fresh and delicious all the time! This location on Santa Anita in Monrovia...is the traditional layout: drive thru lines and walk-up window BUT does has an "island" of outdoor seating surrounded by a low wall. I'm pointing this out because this seems to point towards what the remodeling of the Alhambra on Huntington Blvd will feature "walled seating" at its December reopening - as has been widely reported. In any case...enjoy your favorite In-N-Out combo..it's ALWAYS worth the drive!

Had to investigate the hype! Very good food. For how crazy busy it was they were on it. Food was out fast and they were kind enough to answer all our questions as newbie customers.

Can't go wrong with In-N-Out Burger. Ingredients never frozen, and my ex girlfriend's uncle used to deliver to them from the Altadena Dairy, and used to comment all the time how impeccably clean their facilities are. "You could eat off the floor" he'd say all the time.

These guys rocked it tonight! Nathan took the order, was professional and accurate. The ticket said Angela was the cashier and she was upbeat and friendly. My order was perfect! Fries extra crispy as I asked and the 3x3 was delissshh. They were on their game tonight!! Went through drive through in no more than 15 mins. Keep it up. Went to the new Monrovia store right around when it opened. It's closer to my place. Of course and understandably they experienced some growing pains. Drive through is that newer style, which i don't like, long wait times to pay and exit in the already busy parking lot. I'll stick with Santa Anita and let Monrovia settle in before I pass judgement again lol.

Always a great experience at In-N-Out. Worth the hassle of long lines and hard to find parking, to enjoy the best fast-food 🍔 Southern California has to offer. I haven't been in a long time. I ordered a double hamburger with grilled onions and chopped chili's, and swapped out ketchup & mustard instead of spread which takes 90 calories off the burger. I pulled up on my BMW f800gs and enjoyed my burger and fries using my side cases on my motorcycle like a little standing Burger bar (table). It was absolutely delish. 😋

California staple! I always crave these buttery bun burgers with cheese and grilled onions and the fresh fries 😋 We sat outside right by the drive thru and that was a mistake cause the heat from the cars went towards us. So we moved to one of the umbrella seats and still had enough shade on this hot summer day. The place is always busy so it took about 15-20 min for our food to be ready but it’s as expected. It did not disappoint too! Delicious as always! Plenty of napkins and the tray keeps all the fall away fries in :0) Definitely recommend parking on the street as well because the parking lot is small and packed like a can of sardines!

For drive-thru, this place is okay. It's the typical line that you expect. This is not one that you can sit down inside though. It's outside patio only. As winter approaches, December 2022, it was freezing outside. Definitely not a fun experience. Maybe during the spring or fall this might be a better location if you want to sit outside underneath one of the umbrellas. There is plenty of seating. I can only imagine how horrendous this place must be in the middle of summer, when temperatures are in the hundreds as well.

Long time customer of this In n Out. have loved it for many years and recently have noticed the customer service aspect go downhill. The past several times i’ve been there has been something made incorrectly, a missing item or service has taken exceptionally slow (even on weekday nights) It is frustrating to see one of my favorite places make me not want to come back and drive extra just to go one I know won’t forget anything. The vibes here are off lately and I hope they can turn around again soon.

Excellent experience at this location! We stopped with a bus full of teenagers and it was great! The service was exceptionally fast especially for the number of people and the time of day! Our orders are made correctly and we didn't have an issues. No indoor seating. Not much parking around. It does have a walk-up window and some outdoor seating. Everything else is typical In-N-Out. 230 lbs (originally 296) As a recent import from Texas, I have to say that I'm a little mystified by the long - and I do mean long - lines of cars at the local In-N-Out here in Arcadia. Man, they gotta be on the order of a 45 minute wait at least. Is *any* junk food burger worth that? Granted, n-N-Out is cheaper than other burger joints, but the wait alone cancels out any savings (you're in effect working for far less than minimum wage). No, I have to conclude that people are coming for the product, which is pretty okay. It is NOT Whataburger, which doesn't exist in California, but my final assessment is this: it is medium grade product excellently and speedily prepared by friendly, cheerful staff. While that's not worth a long wait to me, it's very clear that IN-N-Out Burger knows their niche and has a good thing going. I got the Double Double all the way with fries and a Coke, because it's By God America and that's the law. The burger was American Cheesy good and hot. The fries (like McDonald's of recent years) have a definite crunch half-life and as such are good for about 5 minutes max, after which they become cardboard. During those five minutes, though, they're serviceable. Get salt for them. The coke was properly mixed and had the soft-crunch ice - bueno. I went on a night a bit late when the line was only about 5 minutes. Do that and you'll be okay. I see online that my calorie sin tally was about 1,000. That's a lot, but surprisingly less than, say, a Chipotle burrito with chips and a coke.

There's a building where the orders are made, on both sides of that building, are where the drive through orders are paid for and received by the customers, if you drive in on the left side of the building and you're by yourself in a wide vehicle like a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban it can be problematic I stopped before the window, got out and walked around to the window to pay for and receive my order to eliminate the possibility of wasting anything trying to stretch myself from the driver's side to the passenger side window This wouldn't have been a problem in my '64 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 😀

Drive up planes are very long, but I took the advice of a previous patron and used to walk up window. The cooking area was clean and ran efficiently. The staff were very courteous.and displayed great attitudes. BUT the meal was underwhelming at best. We both had the double double (two beef patties, and two slices of cheddar cheese) with grilled onions. The burger was juicy but lacked flavor. The fries were dry, lacked salt, and seemed somewhat undercooked. The best tasting ones were the small extra crispy pieces at the bottom of the container. Also, the burgers come half wrapped in brown paper then placed in a white paper “pouch.” This left the top of the burger open and exposed in the bag. I also bit into the brown paper with my first bite. I would have really preferred a fully wrapped sandwich. Overall, I’m not sure what the fuss is all about. I’d give it 2 1/2 starsif I could.

So disappointed in this location. Waited in the left line with two cars in front of us, while the right line blew through 10 cars as we sat there. Food was supposed to be eaten in the car, but we received it in bags instead of trays. Had to ask for trays. The fries were extremely undercooked which was surprising considering we had to wait extra long yet they still came out rushed, soggy and undercooked. Smaller than average Patty's it seemed, and requested grilled onions but there was barely any on the burger. As someone who has been to in n out a hundred times in their life, it just lacked the quality and service normally provided. It didn't taste like in n out. Super odd.

Im giving this rating because they got my order wrong. Not once but twice. After I checked my bag and noticed a burger was missing, I went a, let them know and ordering an extra combo then they forgot my fries. I ordered 3 shakes 2 strawberry and a chocolate. The strawberry shakes were straight liquid. It seemed like soda. The chocolate was just a little firmer. Maybe it was a bad day for them. Not sure. It was my first time at this location.
