Avis sur Xibei Arcadia
This was a last minute pick on Christmas Day! I was in the area looking for something to eat for dinner. I grew up in the Arcadia area, so coming back here, I always want to try the new restaurants around. We decided to try Xibei because we know they’re pretty popular in China. We’re so glad we did! Every dish tasted delicious! The lamb chops, Mongolian beef rib, and cold noodles were especially yummy! We ordered a kids combo for my son and he loved it as well! I love how they have kid-friendly plates and utensils! The tea drinks were amazing! On top of all this, the service was exceptional!! From the moment we were greeted at the door to our waiter who waited on us, everyone was a joy to talk to! I would definitely come back again! What a pleasant Christmas dinner!!!
First time came here but had been to the restaurant under the same chain in China. 1. The service is really nice though it’s relatively a busy day on Christmas Eve 2. Options are quite good compared to normal Chinese restaurants, especially the kids option. It tastes good for my daughter too. 3. Tried the dessert yogurt which is pretty good too. In general, I recommend Xibei as a great option for families.
The classic dishes taste just like they do back home — authentic and comforting. The flavors haven’t changed at all. The environment is also as good as it used to be, clean, cozy, and familiar. It’s great to see this place keeping both the quality of the food and the atmosphere consistent over the years. Definitely worth coming back.
We ordered the $98 Peking Duck set and it was excellent. The duck was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and served with fresh pancakes, cucumber, scallions, and sauce. The set came with several well-prepared dishes, including flavorful braised pork, perfectly cooked green beans, a comforting soup, and a light, refreshing fish dish. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Great value for the price — highly recommended for sharing with family or friends. Would definitely come back!
This place is on the second floor of Santa Anita mall, the outdoor area. Came here for Northwestern Chinese dishes. I've been trying to find a good place but no luck, so I thought I'd give it a try. It didn't disappoint! All the dishes we ordered were delicious! Servers were friendly and attentive. We came here off peak hour so it was quiet and I loved it. Definitely recommend!
So happy to see Xibei finally open in Arcadia! The space is clean and modern, and the service feels genuinely friendly. Tried a few of their signature noodle dishes — perfectly chewy noodles, rich broth, and balanced flavors without being too heavy. It’s the kind of comfort food that hits the spot whether you’re shopping or just craving something warm and authentic. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the overall vibe makes it a great new addition to the mall’s food scene. Definitely coming back to try more! 🍜
Everything we ordered tasted good. Kids loved the fried rice and cauliflower. We got the - Mongolian beef rib platter, I ordered this one both times I went. - lamb skewers - dry pot cauliflower with pork - simmered beef stew with potatoes and carrots (it was okay will probably not order this one next time) - fried rice with shrimps - crispy fried golden millet bomb with molten brown sugar. I really like this dessert. Fried mochi with hot brown sugar filling. Tried the WoWo before, it was fine and the shredded chicken with cold oak noodles. Service is good, the staff was very nice. And they have private rooms which is a plus.
Authentic Chinese food! It was delicious and I highly recommend coming in a large group so you can try all of the food! Our favorite was the Braised Pork Belly! It was heavenly, but everything was honestly so good! The service was great! The restaurant is Beautiful! We loved it! And cant wait to come back!

🥢 Familiar flavors: the spicy chicken, youmian noodles, and roasted fish were solid. The short rib and sticky corn cake were surprisingly good. 🙌 Tastes close to home, authentic enough, with bright vibes and friendly service. 👉 Verdict: Worth trying, great spot for a group meal!
Tried Xibei in Arcadia and it was great! The beef rib-bone platter was super tender and full of flavor. The Oat Wowo had a nice sweet and sour taste, really fun and kids loved it. The big plate chicken was tasty on the spot, but even better the next day after the flavors settled in. Ended with the golden millet sticky rice, which was refreshing and not too heavy. Will definitely come back.
I recently visited Xibei at Arcadia Mall, and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved how fresh the ingredients tasted, and the portions were generous. The staff were warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. I will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to try delicious and satisfying Northern Chinese cuisine.
Arrived around 1:30 PM on Saturday. Didn’t have to wait long to get seated. The service was excellent! I ordered the roast duck set, great value! The environment was truly wonderful, very spacious, and they also have private rooms.
XiBei is in the upper floor outdoors of the Santa Anita mall. We found parking near Nordstrom and walked up the outside stairs. I remember walking more past Daiso, and it’s on the right. My friend made reservations here and ordered the duck set menu $98 (4-6 people) ahead of time. Even after we got seated, the duck still took 40 minutes to come out. We were told that a private room reservation requires a minimum $300 spend. The set menu is easy for a group, so we chose the duck one that says feeds 4-6 people. But we think it wasn’t enough food for 6 adults. We ordered additional items. Duck Set menu $98 included: -xibei signature salad: this had a tad spice to it, I thought. Mostly iceberg lettuce w good dressing -fish filet w pickled mustard greens: fish is sea bass. Good flavor but could have been stronger -stir fried green beans: nice and crunchy! This dish came out first -whole pecking duck: I really enjoyed this. It was the star of the show. -lamb soup: very tasty. One server said they couldn’t add soup, but another one did. It definitely isn’t enough soup for 6 people. -xibei chills sticky rice (6pc): this felt like dessert because they brought it out last Additional items we tried: -grilled lamb skewers (3pc) $10: tell them no spicy if you don’t want it spicy. Each skewer had a good amount of meat. It was worth it. -Mongolian lamb $25: came out on a small sizzling plate. Very flavorful like cumin. One of the better dishes of the meal. -oat “wowo” noodles $23: uhhhh it looked interesting since it’s the house special dish. But I wouldn’t get it again. It’s like grainy pasta in tomato sauce that got cold real quick. Tea is charged $2 per person. Service was exceptionally good because the lady basically attended to us (and seemed like us only) the entire night. Plenty of parking at the mall. Remember where you parked so you can get back to it in a timely manner. Restrooms available. Credit card/tap accepted. No outdoor dining. The plaid red and white tablecloths threw me off because they seemed so casual compared to the rest of the Asian decor.

Tried Xibei for the first time and really enjoyed it! We ordered the roast duck, oat noodles, and lamb shumai. The roast duck was crispy on the outside and tender inside, packed with flavor. The oat noodles were hearty and healthy. The desert was light, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. The lamb shumai had thin wrappers, juicy filling, and an authentic taste. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try authentic Northwestern Chinese cuisine!
We visited Xibei again and really enjoyed our meal. The Kung Pao Chicken is still as good as ever—flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. Our kids loved it too, and the staff was kind enough to make a non-spicy version just for them, which we really appreciated. The food came out fresh, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable for a family meal.
One of the best northwest magnolia cuisines that recently came to USA! Back in china I already loved this restaurant and they finally made it here! The highly recommend honey shaped with sweet and sour sauce is a must order! Very soft and the sweet and sour tomato sauce goes perfect. Also highly recommend their beef rib the meat melts in your mouth! Their service is also great!
We had a great meal at XiBei! The flavors were bold and authentic, especially the lamb stir-fry with onions, it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and very aromatic. The onions were caramelized just right and soaked up all the spices. Portions were generous and everything tasted freshly cooked. If you enjoy Northern Chinese cuisine with rich, savory flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back!
The foods are so good. My favorite one is chicken cold oat noodles. The taste is so good and very healthy. You must try the xibei signature chilled golden sticky rice. The service is so good. Everyone is so nice to customers. Nice environment.

The dishes were bursting with authentic flavors, especially the hand-pulled noodles and lamb skewers, which were perfectly seasoned. The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and ideal for both casual dining and special gatherings.

Excellent roast duck restaurant. Located inside the mall. Parking is a bit challenging on the weekend. The restaurant is nicely decorated. There are plenty of tables and a few private party rooms. Reservation is a must. The duck was excellent. The side dishes were just ok... With the exception of the string beans. Service is great and quick. But we did order the duck the day before. We got the family package that comes with all the side dishes.
Very great service and organized! The food is served very fast and on very nice plates. The environment is very nice and it has very good decor. It is not too loud and great place to eat. Their restroom is also very clean and modern. However, prices are high and the portions are on the smaller side. The duck is pretty good though with the wrap. The beef rib was alright but the flavor was pretty good. Got the passionfruit green tea and it was good, tea is refreshing with a subtle passionfruit taste and not too sweet.
We had a mixed but overall pleasant experience here. The food was okay overall, but the bone-in beef and the fish were actually pretty nice — well cooked and satisfying, even if nothing completely blew us away. What truly made this place stand out, though, was the service. It was honestly some of the best service I’ve experienced in America. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, constantly checking in without being overbearing and making sure everything was just right. Their kindness and professionalism really elevated the whole experience. Even though the food itself was more on the simple side, the service alone made the visit feel special and worth it.
