Went here last night since my usual go to in Lakewood was closed due to a power outage. Food was a bit better here than Lakewood. Chicken and fries were fresh and on point 👌 Eating area and bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly.

The chicken is moist and flavorful, and the ability to choose your preferred spiciness level is a boost. The menu is short, which eliminates long, catatonic stares at an endless menu board. The only downer is the absence of any sound absorbing materials in the dining area. The result is all- too-often heard echoes of unattended children screeching and wailing while their parents selfishly and irresponsibly tune them out. But, there is ample outdoor dining space.

My Favorite place on Saturday for lunch Rosie is the best. Great customer service and very attentive.

Came in during Drake's bday and it was crazy. Line was out the door and the drive through line went out into the street. However, I ordered on the app to cut through the traffic and was greeted kindly by the manager as she gave me my food with a warm smile despite the chaos happening around her. Food was great too! Met my expectations and wasn't spicy as expected (I have a low spice tolerance so this is a personal plus for me lol) I'll definitely come back again when it's less hectic!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is something else!!! I loveeeee their customer service!! Everyone is always so kind and helpful. The only downside is that when they’re busy, it takes a little while to get your food. Tried the Dave's Not Chicken sandwich and it didn't disappoint. It was crispy and freshly prepared, it was still hot when I got home. My fries could've been hotter but they were good just not off the fryer hot. I added some fresh spinach and onions and it was really good with the sauce provided..The staff was extremely nice and everybody had a smile on their faced..I will go back to this location. Update; I went back and got another "not chicken" sandwich and ended up with diarrhea and upset stomach.

The sliders are good. If you decide to try them, then order the #2. Extra Hot is pretty intense, but it's delicious. Service is also very good. Drive thru is quick and accurate. Make sure to order some extra Dave sauce.

I'm here at lunch time on a Wednesday, trying Dave's for the first time! The food is incredible!!!!!!!! Visited the next day at 3pm to see if I would have a different experience. Still the same great food . The cashier, Valerie R., provided excellent customer service!

I'm not a chiken person (food wise) but this chiken from daves chinken is definitely my only place for chiken, their flavor is like no other, I was invited trough an acquaintance, since then I've been coming back, every one that likes chicken should try Dave's chicken, no brainer! Ordered online, ready for pickup on time. The hot chicken sandwich is next level! Haven't tried the hottest one (yet), but will do so on the next visit with the 2 sandwich combo 😅 They also have milkshakes which makes my kid happy. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the product, and a reasonable quantity making it a satisfying purchase.

The food here is so freaking bomb omg. I love LOVE LOVEEEE the kale slaw. I started coming here for a while and each time I swear it gets better. I was hesitant to try the kale slaw at first since it’s not coleslaw?? But omg it’s so freaking good and it’s healthier for you too. I always ask for extra slaw and slaw instead of fries 😂. Cooked to order hot fresh chicken. You choose your spice level. I like spice but don't care for their hot or extra hot. Medium has just the right flavor for me. Expect a little wait time because they're usually busy and it's always cooked to order.

The fries and chicken is seasoned very well, and I was impressed with how well the chicken was fried. The inside was juicy, and the outside was crispy. It was pretty perfect. I got "hot", which isn't really spicy, just enough to not have a bad time in the restroom later. The bread they use for their buns is like a King's Hawaiian roll- soft and sweet. I like mine with extra pickles (no extra charge). The pickles are not sweet, which is great, but also not sour. I do like them sour, but it's enough that they aren't sweet. This place is not vegetarian/vegan-friendly in case it wasn't obvious. Overall, it's worth checking out their tenders and sliders. Only giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 because the price is right. However, good prices alone don't make up for low quality food. The slaw tasted sour and bitter. KFC has better mac and cheese than this place. Their cheese fries are soggy and flavorless. Wouldn't come here again.

Online Order was scheduled for 11:15am was ready when I drove up to the Window at 11:14am! There was no one to help at the Online Order speaker so I drove around to the Window. The Girl there was so apologetic, I told her I wasn't there long but I did ask to try to the Kale slaw. She punched it in the machine but it told her she needed the Mgr. Oh well. My Medium Sliders were delish. My Wife's Tenders were delicious. The Online Order shows "Bottles" of Coke product. Because of that, I shied away from ordering, When I was at the Window, I noticed there was Fountain Drinks. Hmm... Oh well, will get that next time we order.

Finally tried this place and I was left in complete shock of how horrible the chicken is. The chicken is bland and just coated with whatever heat you desire. I had a med (more mild then med) heat slider and tender. I had to force myself to eat it bc it’s so expensive and definitely can’t be wasting money. Hats off to the fries they got all 2 stars. The fries and the pickles were the best thing in this combo. I’d def go back for them fries. Y’all should prolly add whatever seasoning y’all put on them fries on the chicken before coating it in the heat sauce. Definitely need to up the seasoning game. Tony’s creole seasoning would do wonders. I be back for them fries tho and to try the slaw and mac maybe. *Update* Back again to try the mac and well disappointed yet again. Mac n cheese was more like Mac and cheese juice. I order fries again but truly regretted it. They were cold and taste awful nothing like the first visit. Honestly, for me it was nothing to write home about. Prices were a little high IMO. Chicken was fair. Crust is not crispy. You can select how spicy you want it but I will not be going back. Drive thru took a long time. Fries were decent. I would rather have Popeyes that is a few feet down more.

My metal included 1.5 chicken strips because one was half the size of the bigger one, two slices of plain white bread, jumbo crinkle cut fries and round slices of pickles. Cost was $14+, No drink. I was not impressed with the entire meal, but my son really liked the fries. I wouldn't go back unless my son wanted to get fries every once in a while.

I stopped here. Just for a couple of cauliflower bites and I was excited to try them. A friend had told me about the one near my job, In Cerritos, at 11615 south st. Starting out with great service guy was wonderful. However, I waited 10 minutes for cauliflower bites. And they were just awful, didn't even look good. I'm sad to say unfortunately I did not get to eat all of them. I couldn't bring myself to do so.

To start the staff is super rude for no reason. The fries were ice cold and to top it all off I asked for honey for my two meals. Which came out to 30$+ with no drinks and I was given 2 little packets after a sigh and eye roll. Ridiculous!

I tried their Chicken sandwich, They load you up plus very good spice levels as Dave’s hot chicken. I will just ask for light seasoning because they do sometimes over season their chicken. Plus, they also have great deals for Monday through Thursday. I will post the photos of the deals at the bottom of my review.

I called that night and spoke to Karisma, she told me to come when I can so they can replace it. I went the next day and my food was replaced but then I ended up getting food poisoning. Never again will I come back. I went two days ago and my order was messed up and I found hair in my food. Extremely disgusting. Walked in and wanted to use the restroom before I ordered but wouldn’t let me in because I needed to pay first. How does one look at a menu when you haven’t use the restroom. Bad practice

The food is good, but I had a really bad experience with this franchise store. After purchasing food here, I later found that they had charged my card multiple times. I came back to find out what happened and received really bad customer service from the manager Rosa. I asked to talk to the franchise owner, Roj, and he refused to come out. So the food is good but double-check your bank after you leave.

The seasoning on the lite mild AND MEDIUM tasted the same, along with the spice level. I can’t handle spice at all, but medium and lite mild had no affect. The bread at the bottom was plain. Pickles were shriveled.

Out here rationing fries. $17 for this smh.

We ordered the number 4 meal and when it came out the sandwich was so cold we tell the cashier and he said he’ll let the chef know and make a another meal but 20 minutes went by and nothing came we ask the cashier again and he went in the kitchen and the Manager came out so aggressive and start tell us you already ate the food we literally took one small bite I also have a pitcher of the sandwich I don’t know if I can post here he was so aggressive to me and my friend. The is not the first time the sandwich was cold we had an issue 2 time in the past but we ignored it this time was enough. Not a good service from the management team. After so much arguing he did give us a new meal and refund our money back but still very disappointed.

They tried to steal my money. I accidentally typed the wrong number on the tip and the shady employee named MALIA told me they could not refund anything. I tried to cancel the entire order and she told me it wasn't possible to refund the order either. I had to ask for a manager and to no one's surprise, it was able to be refunded all along. After that, I did place an order, but the chicken tasted weird and bland. 0/5 experience. Worst Dave's I have ever visited and not at all similar to any Dave's out there. It is unfortunate that someone like this person is allowed to represent this normally great establishment.

dryest chicken out there and super slow service, would rather go to church's or popeyes tbh

they only care about u when ur in the drive thru, took 35 minutes for my food when the people in the drive thru only wait barely 5 minutes, this place had so many employees yet it took that long, and only one person was helping the front register and they weren't even in the front the entire time, so people had to even wait to take an order , this was awful service, u should tell people how long a wait might be so they aren't blindsided and be better considerate of ur customers not say just 5 more minutes each time someone asks and then take 15 more .

I was waiting in the drive through for 25+ minutes.. and when I got home it was the wrong order. I only ordered one item and the receipt and bag has my order but still the item given was wrong. It wasn’t even busy either only one car ahead.

The worst food I've ever had was due to excessive seasoning, which made it taste unpleasant. Upon requesting extra ketchup, I was given only 3 packets.

I’m currently in the drive through and we have been waiting for 25+ minutes. It is not busy at all it’s 11pm on a saturday with only 1 car in front of us. I only ordered one item as well. This has happened before but was out in 15 minutes but this is way too long of a wait in the drive through.

the service sucks. Super slow no workers in the front nor attending people ordering. Got the orders all wrong. was literally missing a whole chicken in my slider. gave me cauliflower instead of chicken for another meal. The workers are rude .
