Dave's Hot Chicken in Cerritos is an absolute gem! Their spicy chicken is a flavor explosion that'll leave your taste buds dancing. But what really blew me away was the incredible staff. I once left my backpack there, and they went above and beyond to help me get it back. Super friendly and attentive, they made sure I left with a smile, backpack securely in tow. Dave's Hot Chicken isn't just about amazing food; it's about the awesome people too! 🔥🍗👏

This place is great. The frys are amazing, crispy and well seasoned. The sliders are outstanding and lot of heat options.

Valeria was very nice and super helpful. She’s very friendly and an amazing worker! It was my first time and she recommended the mini sliders which were yummy!

The cashier Vanessa was amazing and sweet! Me and my sister stopped by around 12 at night and she had such great energy for my first time here at Dave’s she made my experience that much better!

They offer a great variety of spicy chicken dishes, and the sauce was just perfect. The chicken itself had good seasoning not being overly spicy. The texture of the chicken is crunchy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. The restaurant's decor, including the paintings, added a nice touch to the atmosphere. However, one aspect I didn't appreciate was the slightly sticky floor, which could be improved.

I've tried this place multiple times now, and this place is pretty decent. The prices are a bit better than the other hot chicken places around this area. The sides were a bit of a disappointment. I wanted to try them, because the menu is actually pretty barebones, but they were underwhelming. For the price, the portions were smaller than expected. The kale slaw was really not the jam. You should either really like kale and mayo or want a "healthier" cole slaw. The cheese they use on the cheese fries is like Velveeta, not real cheese. I would recommend normal fries over the cheese option. The Mac and cheese similarly left a lot to be desired. The cheese they use here is just not good. In fact, I would avoid all the cheese options here. The sauce I am not a fan of. It does not add very much flavour, just a sweeter thousand island sauce. I also don't recommend it. I prefer ketchup, just for the fries, but you don't really need it. I would really prefer a vinegar hot sauce if they had it. The fries and chicken is seasoned very well, and I was impressed with how well the chicken was fried. The inside was juicy, and the outside was crispy. It was pretty perfect. I got "hot", which isn't really spicy, just enough to not have a bad time in the restroom later. The bread they use for their buns is like a King's Hawaiian roll- soft and sweet. I like mine with extra pickles (no extra charge). The pickles are not sweet, which is great, but also not sour. I do like them sour, but it's enough that they aren't sweet. This place is not vegetarian/vegan-friendly in case it wasn't obvious. Overall, it's worth checking out their tenders and sliders. The quality of the chicken was surprisingly high, and the seasoning was on point. Leave the sides out, maybe grab a milkshake (haven't tried one of those).

Mever had i ever had something bad to say about a daves hot chicken but this establishment is way off. I would not recommend this location. It was a pinch of coleslaw on my birger

My tenders were generous size but the chicken tasted like burned oil. The French fries were delicious just a little greedy with seasoning. First two chicken sandwiches had good flavor with sauce. They do have soda fountain for refills when dinning inn. They were busy when we went on weekend around 20-30 wait for food.

At first the cashier was helpful and attentive, food was you average hot chicken sandwich. Mac and cheese was good too. I got my meal without a fork and when my wife went to get one for me took awhile since no one was manning the front. Cashier was cleaning tables, and 3 female employees were just chit chatting in the B.O.H. took awhile for one to give us a fork.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken. The food was overpriced for what you get. I used to remember when the chicken on the sliders hang outside the sandwich. Now it’s a basic chicken sandwich. Also the chicken was dry and very greasy at the same time. The spice level is good that is why I’m giving them a two star on food instead of a one. The wait time was 15 even though the place was not very busy with only me and an another person.The staff seemed rushed which made the experience worse. Overall, it did not live up to the hype, and I would not go back. But I found this chicken spot in Bellflower called Richie‘s hot chicken. I tried their Chicken sandwich, They load you up plus very good spice levels as Dave’s hot chicken. I will just ask for light seasoning because they do sometimes over season their chicken. Plus, they also have great deals for Monday through Thursday. I will post the photos of the deals at the bottom of my review.

Never again will I come back. I went two days ago and my order was messed up and I found hair in my food. Extremely disgusting. I called that night and spoke to Karisma, she told me to come when I can so they can replace it. I went the next day and my food was replaced but then I ended up getting food poisoning. Extremely upset and I wish I could’ve just gotten my money back, instead of a replacement.

Never again will I come back. I went two days ago and my order was messed up and I found hair in my food. Extremely disgusting. I ordered Dave’s Saucy Bites w/fries Mikes Hot Honey and they gave me this!! Nothing close to what was requested. Fries were missing. Whole order was a disaster!

they only care about u when ur in the drive thru, took 35 minutes for my food when the people in the drive thru only wait barely 5 minutes, this place had so many employees yet it took that long, and only one person was helping the front register and they weren't even in the front the entire time, so people had to even wait to take an order , this was awful service, u should tell people how long a wait might be so they aren't blindsided and be better considerate of ur customers not say just 5 more minutes each time someone asks and then take 15 more .

I was waiting in the drive through for 25+ minutes.. and when I got home it was the wrong order. I only ordered one item and the receipt and bag has my order but still the item given was wrong. It wasn’t even busy either only one car ahead.

The worst food I've ever had was due to excessive seasoning, which made it taste unpleasant. Upon requesting extra ketchup, I was given only 3 packets.

I’m currently in the drive through and we have been waiting for 25+ minutes. It is not busy at all it’s 11pm on a saturday with only 1 car in front of us. I only ordered one item as well. This has happened before but was out in 15 minutes but this is way too long of a wait in the drive through.

the service sucks. Super slow no workers in the front nor attending people ordering. Got the orders all wrong. was literally missing a whole chicken in my slider. gave me cauliflower instead of chicken for another meal. The workers are rude .

They tried to steal my money. I accidentally typed the wrong number on the tip and the shady employee named MALIA told me they could not refund anything. I tried to cancel the entire order and she told me it wasn't possible to refund the order either. I had to ask for a manager and to no one's surprise, it was able to be refunded all along. After that, I did place an order, but the chicken tasted weird and bland. 0/5 experience. Worst Dave's I have ever visited and not at all similar to any Dave's out there. It is unfortunate that someone like this person is allowed to represent this normally great establishment.
